Bi-fold Closet Door Repair

Fixing the cracked ends of a bi-fold closet door.
The wood in the end had cracked and rather than replacing the whole door, you can remove the split wood and replace it with a larger and stronger piece of wood.

Good instructions! My pivot pin hole doesn't have a bracket and my replacement doors are deeper by a half inch .. hence it won't close. How do you determine where the new door top pin hole should be placed / measured? Thank you !!! Deb

I think the hardware I bought said where to mount it. But generally you can adjust the hardware in the tracks to match.
