Swapped both mine with new vdo & then got 2aa1 exhaust camshaft sensor code after replacing . Currently a crank no start. Where should I start? I tried swapping intake sensor with the exhaust one cleared codes and it came back again for the exhaust cam 2aa1
Hi to you i have the wrong code on my bmw e39 model 2000 523i 41 camshaft signal intake side and has no engine light on what is wrong. the sensor or the cam chain
My n52 is doing this when cold and usually starts normally after 15mins if i have started it before. Do u think i might have same issue? No engine lights or anything
@@L0CALDRUGMAN if your not getting any fault codes then you'll have to use live data to pin point the problem. That won't be easy if you're locking the knowledge of what the sensors should be reading.
What did you change? It's the same symptom as when I start my car. The diagnostic code is p0340(camshaft position) p0016(crankshaft position).
If my exhaust signal wire is showing 9v when the sensor is connected but when i take it off it shows 5v what would be the problem

Sorry for the late reply, first will need to check the wiring.
The plug you are probing looks like the vanos actuator. Is that what you replaced? Or is there also an intake/exhaust cam sensor in that location
@@leveluplife8585 yes, there is an intake and exhaust cam sensor in that location. The cam sensor was replace
