    Just bought a 2024 Venza Limited trim for my wife. Beautiful car. Drives quieter than my Rav4. Dash is more modern looking. Sleek is a good description of the dash. Getting 42.3 mpg as of today. The Stargazer roof is very nice if you live in a cloudy environment. That blast of daylight through the Stargazer makes the grey days nicer.

    I pre-ordered this Japanese-import -Venza Limited in Ruby Flare Pearl in October 2022 for my wife and got it before Christmas. It is truly a luxury vehicle. The gas mileage is unbelievable. Its personal best so far is 50.1 MPG. As for the 2023 RAV4, I eventually pre-ordered the XLE Premium in Windchill Pearl for my son and got it a month later. Both are excellent SUVs. We feel fortunate to have both.

      @@Gopinathk17 The current generation Venza is Hybrid. Our 2023 RAV4 XLE is gasoline. So, the comparison might not be fair. Anyway, my wife appreciates our son’s RAV4’s bigger space. That is what we use if we need to fit my family of 5 in 1 car. But, my son likes his Mom’s Venza’s quiet and luxurious ride. So, it all depends on which feature you will put priority on.

    Nathan is spot on with his comments. We have a 2020 RAV4 Hybrid XLE and a 2022 Venza LE and prefer the Venza. It also gets better gas mileage. After 25,000 miles on each vehicle the RAV4 sits at ~36mpg vs. the Venza at ~43mpg.

The visibility problem seriously hurts safety. Toyota made the roof, or roofline way way way to low. The A-pillars are slanted back much more horizontally.. This reduces visibility. If Toyota made the Venza more boxy and raised the roofline about two or three inches, it would have made the Venza MUCH better. I'm surprised you didn't mention that ..

    My 21 Venza limited has NEVER delivered over 430 miles per tank. It NEVER takes more than 11 gallons per tank when showing empty and Toyota claims the tank holds 14.5 gallons. Overall, It’s loud. The low mileage Bridgestone Ecopia tires are loud after 10,000 miles and are terrible in Minnesota winters (changed out for Michelins which has hurt MPG but improves drivability and noise. The Stargazer roof is a gimmick and a non starter for those wanting a opening sunroof. The car squeaks and rattles at 18,000 miles. It’s cramped with no storage in the front or back and finally, at $44,000 is overpriced IMO. It’s leased so it’s gone in 13 months or sooner if I can find something else now.

    When my sister got her rav4 hybrid, she also considered the venza. The issues were the slight price increase and the bigger body. She does not need or want something that big. I realize it isn't THAT big, but it is bigger than she needs so why would she spend the extra money?
    If Toyota would keep increasing their prime lineup, they could have complete dominance with the cross, rav4 and venza. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the direction Toyota is going. They already got rid of the Prius prime after something like 2 years and have stated they are starting from scratch with their fully electric vehicles.

    I Loved the new Venza, but it only comes with 33 year old depressing grey or death black interior colors that became popular in 1990.
    I would have bought it but we REFUSE to buy another vehicle with interior colors that have been shoved down everyone’s throats for more than 1/2 my life.
    I also looked at the new Rav but the fit and finish, the comfort, cabin noise wasn’t nearly as good as my 11 Rav 4WD Limited.
    Ultimately I chose the Subaru Forester Touring.
    In 25 the Forester will be available with the Rav / Venza hybrid system.
    When it comes out I’ll sell my Forester and buy a Forester Touring Hybrid.

I rent vehicles almost daily for my job travels and getting in to a car feels as if my rear end is 3 inches off of the ground. It’s too unsettling for me.

    Honestly I love the looks upfront, so gorgeous...
    However, my gripe with Venza(Toyota marketed this with Harrier other side of Pasific ) is at rear....
    Toyota designer going too far with split taillights, turn indicators and reverse lights placed lowered on rear bumper and sized as tiny like pencils....
    Last week, this type of car got rear end collision because other motorists failed to notice the indicator.., too low down..,
    And those indicator and reverse light modules get recalled for mud and flood water damage... Toyota needed radical facelift for its taillights or for next gen models....
    Again great front looks but atrociously design fail for its taillights assembly.....

    The better buy is go straight to a highlander. The Venzas sloping rear roof line kills much of the cargo room, and the rav has pretty cheap materials and little if any NVH materials. For the low 40s, just go to the highlander.

    • @panzer_TZ
      @panzer_TZ Рік тому +6

      Definitely being a bit Hyperbolic. The Venza has plenty of space for everyday driving. Also, a low 40s Highlander is going to be a stripped LE model, and any Hybrid (let alone Hybrid + AWD) Highlander is going to be hard to obtain at MSRP in this market. An Highlander Hybrid AWD XLE with the 12" screen is $47,000-$48,000 MSRP by the time you get done with destination and port installed accessories. Most dealers are not going to give up that kind of Highlander for MSRP.

    • @bLuDrGn2011
      @bLuDrGn2011 Рік тому +2

      I looked at Highlander first, but ended up with a Venza. Unless you need third row seating or the extra cargo, it's just too big of a car. Also the styling will be closer to a RAV4. The Highlander starts at a higher pricepoint to match the technology you would get on a Venza. The big thing I see is the Venza is built for the Japanese/Asian market and a luxury Toyota, while RAV4 and Highlander are appliances/utilities.

    • @Suction_
      @Suction_ Рік тому

      @@panzer_TZ Toyota charges far to much for their high end trims anyway. 34k in a rav just to get a sunroof and heated seats for an xle premium? I'd rather spend the money on something larger and deal with things I don't need anyway.
      Most dealers near me are MSRP, just have to wait for it to arrive. Even then comparing a rav4 limited hybrid at the low-mid 40s vs a highlander hybrid at mid-high 40s, it's a no brainer being it's far larger, has a way more refined ride and NVH materials, and gets extremely similar mileage.

    I will never buy a New Toyota vehicle again. Why? Their stupid "subscription" service for options you pay for when you buy the vehicle. Say you buy the top model, loaded with all the options. You may get to use them for a limited time but after 1 year or however long they turn the option(s) off through an online downgrade (not calling it an update) and hold it hostage until you pay a ransom. It's basically ransomware. Some features may require a ransom to use as you drive the vehicle off the dealer lot which is just Bull$hit!
    Any other manufacturers that pull this garbage will also permanently lose my interest and business.

Unfortunately Americans dont really know how to drive a manual (globaly speaking), as I heared engine reving to 3.5k rpm when down shifting.
