The original MK was awesome especially for its time we went crazy over it as a young boy

It's kind of funny when you think about how people cheer for the "good guys" but when you watch their fatalities, you realize that they're kind of just as violent and psychotic as the villains. I mean is it really necessary for you to put your hand through someone's back, rip their torso off and use their upper half in a puppet show Champion of Earthrealm?!
So much work went into this, they should have let them do it in series form like Legacy.
Wish you guys had done your shooting here in New Zealand 🙂 We've got so many different landscapes. You can be standing in an alpine desert, then half an hours drive and you're in the thermal areas, Geysers, boiling bubbling mud pools, another fifteen minutes and you're at a lake which has an island fortress with imposing snowcapped volcanoes in its background. Another hours drive and you're driving beside unadulterated rainforest which grows almost to the top of a dormant volcano. A small spring feeds a pool which in turn evolves into cascading waterfalls in its descent from the summit. It becomes a river in its pursuit towards the coast where it releases thousands of gallons of drinkable water every day. More people need to use our country for their movies 😊 Were friendly people and while tax is low to encourage film makers to utilise our environment, the very best thing is that there's no poisonous bugs or wild animals (Except for possums and Kea parrots which will pull your car to pieces) otherwise it's a very good place to be. It took me traveling the world to realise just how lucky we are here

This was so amazing, i lnow there were some issues regarding this movie(mainly Cole) but i still enjoy this film regardless. And seeing the work they put in to make it as it is shows some dedocation which much more than i can say than that abomination MK Annilation🤢. But for this it was a great job😊👍

There will 100% be a sequel. Probably MK11 themed, because ofcourse this movie was probably done filming in 2018 - 2019, editing stuff like this is really hard, and using CGI this good... is unbelievable. Great fucking job!!

@@tehmoron9949 maybe Ryan Reynolds, but he's too big of a star and doesn't really know that much about martial arts. He has the comedic aspect and definitely looks similar to JC though.
But then there's Scott adkins, which knows martial arts and looks like him, but he hasn't really done any comedy, but I suppose that's why they write characters.

I hope that Ed Boon and staff make the 2nd MK Movie just like the game and keep it grounded all the characters and costumes original and story line and if they bring Johnny Cage 😎👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻 is the original authentic one bring the actor Alain Moussi or Danny Bortfeld are the only 2 Perfect actors who can portray him I'm sure either one is gonna do great let's Get it Finish Him...
The film is terrific, except for Cole's character who DOES NOT EXIST in the game! Plus, he is given a starring role featuring Johnny Cage's background... what happened there, directors?? Fights are incredibly sophisticated, I have really enjoyed Sub-zero, Sonia, Scorpion and Mileena.
Well,maybe now Cole can be a new character in the Mortal Kombat franchise.

They wanted to give the fans what they wanted??…..yea we wanted a soft ass monk Liu Kang…we wanted you to kill the best 2 people in the movie Kano and Kung Lao….we wanted Nitara to just scream for no reason in the movie…..and wanted Scorpion to speak Japanese thru the whole movie but say “Get over Here!” In English…lol….o hey here is a good idea let’s put Scorpion in “Samurai armor “ even tho we clearly show in the movie he is a Ninja….this movie had fun parts but it made fun of true mortal kombant culture and of true fans….I’ll Watch the one made in the 90’s before I watch this again
Perfect casting and music wasted on a terrible plot and film
Jax vs Reiko fight is lame and short, sub zero vs scorpion is less visceral and bad choreography and bad editing, Goro Is a prince not a henchman and cole young is a bad character.
I dont know about that, Sure the Goro being a henchman is dumb and the inclusion of Cole Young wasnt nesscary(even tho the director said it was WB decision to put him in the film). But as for some of the fights it was okay,Jax vs Reiko was a bit meh but ended with a sick fatality and the Scorpion vs Sub-Zero fight was pretty amazing. Overall the fights at least in this movie were a step up from previous Mortal Kombat movies, in my opinion of coruse.
Movie was ass. So many characters to play with and you guys failed. Mileena showed her face. Nobody could really fight and no combination’s. All you had to do is watch the story on the games. Liu kang was in love with king Lao and max arms was wack. Just follow the damn game.
