It looks like to me the more you die the more uncover and there’s puzzles you can do to unlock different things and when you wake up again it unlocks something new like those towers that will be awesome

I love how perfectly they capture the atmosphere of a sickly dream, all these little details like a shadows that are not there if you shine directly at them, geometry that is definitely skewed and impossible from afar but happens to be ALMOST normal up close... True lovecraftian horror has to make player constantly question their own perception.

I doubt it was the intention of the people who made it, but my own interpretation is that this is what it must feel like to be trapped inside a feeding-loop for an eldritch monster that just wants an endlessly sustainable snack. So much of Lovecraftian horror is about our inability to comprehend their motives, but for me, after days and weeks of trying to understand how and why a 7th dimensional being would lock a mere human inside an infinitely recurring timeline just to kill it? It hit me: to a being that can warp time this is like having steak forever, and that dude is the cow. Endlessly walking into the booth with no comprehension of his purpose or part in the process until it's too late. I come back to this clip every once in a while to feel that feeling.

Quite literally, one of the best cinematic trailers ever made. All the tiny details that truly summarize how terrifying lovecraftian horror is. The shadow in the chair that disappears when the light hits it, how the light rays from his flashlight literally slows down when he turns to face the door, just the implications of that alone is terrifying. Then there is the impossible architecture, the looping time and on and on. Brilliant stuff.

the best way to deal with elder gods methinks is to ignore it, just... just walk away, in a calm, if slightly hurried pace, don't look back, suppress the memory if possible, and hope its interest doesn't linger on you enough for you to be deemed a worthy entertainment source

Tim West well it was a small company that made it and they didn’t have a massive budget so this game is actually pretty good story wise and gameplay wise due to their limitations and honestly it’s impressive just imagine them with a budget as big as rockstars etc the devs are really good in this game is what I’m trying to say

The first time I watched this as part of "Upcoming games" or something and I was super high. It made me extremely paranoid and I didn't even know if the trailer was actually real until now. Kind of a pointless story but it made the experience so much more intense.
This is one of my favorite games. There's a lot of repetitive fetch quests but it's such a fun and challenging game that I can't help but to play it when I can't decide what to play!
I agree. Also, it entered my dreams. I dreamt that my rented apartment resided in the Sinking City. Everything was water logged, and crooked. In the same dream, I went to the store to get White Castle mini cheese burger sliders.

I have never been more disappointed by a trailer honestly. They failed to deliver on the promise the trailer made, and even though the game was decent it did not, in any way, match up to the expectations this trailer set. Despite that, this video will definitely be my top 10 "best game trailers ever" just because of the levels of detail and storytelling that went into three minutes.
Even if this game sucks, we still got some reaally cool 3-minute-video. Love the Inception vibes and how it loops in the end, with a small change/twist.

This is very Lovecraften. I have not see a game that has done this, so this might be something truly unique.
