Fun fact: during the shooting of Ace Ventura, Chris Barnes told Jim Carrey that the way his neck contorted in one of his skits grossed him out. Carrey responded, "What, this? This grosses you out? All that shit you write and that little thing grosses you out?"
😂😂😂😂😂😂 you’d think that all the ways to kill people they would be tough and brutal bunch of good guys dou nice ppl
Lemmy: I was The editor of the school magazine
He freaking sounds exactly the way he sings what a rare talent.
I used to masturbate,constantly
@@813lynch4 ok?
@@joaco2865 it's a line in the movie,following Lemmy
Trick question asshole... Lemmy IS GOD.
Rob Halford's American accent. Priceless
Judge Claude Frollo Im surprised he didnt just get out and beat the shit outta the guy.
@@Darksky1001able I enjoy Rob (a love JP), but considering Mickey Rourke has been a pro fighter (box) for real and being 50 pounds heavier and 6 inches taller... There is only one way that fight could have ended - with Rob in a coma.
@@eltoro747 dude both Rourke and Halford are 5'11"
“Hi I’m m Rob Halford. I break the law so you don’t have to.”
Damn, Flea was so legendary that he got 2 cameos in the same franchise.
I believe he’s actually playing the same character just a younger version of them
Flea has been in all kinds of stuff including The Big Lebowski and Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas.
chad smith in Step Brothers... oh wait
lol
Oooh the Chili's taking over the cinemas xD
Jason Mercieca Lmfaorotfl.
You forgot Lars Ulrich in Hemmingway and Einhorn.
I want to like this but you know, 666
Jim Carrey with Cannibal Corpse is my favorite one
+A Val I never knew this till recently but i think I loved CC since I was 3 yrs old b/c of that movie.
+A Val That clip was grainier than a grain of sand.
A Val he's supposedly a really big fan
"Excuse me is Greg here?"
Jim Carey low key being a metal head makes him way hotter imo lol😂
"I WAS EDITOR OF THE SCHOOL MAGAZINE!" Goddamn, how I miss you, Lemmy.
CHECK THIS RIFF ITS FUCKING TASTY
I'M THE DEVIL I CAN DO WANT
The Wayne's World scene with Alice Cooper is forever one of my favorite movie scenes
*"wE'rE NoT WoRthY"*
the fucking last line of the lars scene was priceless xD

What I want my first words to him to be
Me being a metallica fan it was hilarious.

Christoph Schneider cool

I know it was just a role, but god fucking damnit, you don't push Rob Halford like that! >:-(
Noone may push the allmighty metal god.
You never know, after that he might never have been able to sleep every again.
Wow, I never noticed that was Flea in Back to the Future and I've watched those films like so many times.
Mind blown!
He's also in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and of course Big Lebowski too
Tim Knight
Wow, I missed him in Big Lebowski too, and I've seen that film so many times, can't believe this :D
kassemir
He is one of the three German guys in the Big Lebowski.
I must have missed that some how :)
Tim Knight And Son In Law. He was perfect in that. Also, him and Anthony in The Chase (1994). Rollins had a feature role. Not a cameo.
They did Dave Grohl in tencaious D but why not Dio and meat loaf.
djobe420 Dio for sure. Meatloaf? Doesn't qualify IMO.
Danny Krinkle he plays Jack Black's father in Kickapoo
djobe420 Meatloaf is metal?... Hes also in Waynes world anyway
He is also in Fight club.
Grohl played the on significant part
Guns And Roses in Dead Pool.
@@jamcentral5258 The Dirty Harry movie 😆
@@duncan3998 They're in the funeral scene.
It's "The Dead Pool"
Flea has been in so many things he deserves his own video.
Jim Carey so should of been a front man to some band
Also does any one know if they released the extended version of pet detective? I've only seen it aired on tv and that clip was the extended version and you can see it was on tv
+Blaine LeBlanc Should've or should have
Blaine LeBlanc He should've filled in for Scott Weiland for the Stone Temple Pilots.
Jim carey in a metal band now thats something i pay to see haha
Should have
Loved Alice Cooper in Wayne's World. He's the best. Aerosmith was in the second one, though. WHY'D YOU FORGET?
It sucked. Nothing epic about it. Just them saying, "You're worthy, you're worthy. Get up!". But the concert, dude.
Cherie Alexander because Aerosmith sucks
@@joeyclemenza7339 They ruled in the 70s. They didn't know when bow out gracefully.
Ozzy was also in Austin Powers.
And also in "trick or threat" together with Gene Simmons
*B O O B S ! ! !*

David Bowie as Nikola Tesla in The Prestige?
that was a full role
Alan Sanchez Tirado Oh, right
He was in Zoolander however.
well I mean the guy has made himself a name is film has been in a load of movies.
David Bowie in the labyrinth
Billy Idol in "The wedding singer?" Anyone?
***** Absolutely.
RIGHT
See Billy Idol gets it I don't know why she doesn't get it.
Not to nitpick but Billy Idol is not metal...he’s technically classified under punk, glam punk, new wave, and a few other genres, but metal isn’t one of them. Not doubting his musical success or abilities by any means!
Roight!🤘🏽🤘🏽
Henry Rollins plays in a lot of movies and series actually.
I will never forget he's in Johnny Neumonic!
You forgot that Chester Bennington was also a metal musician that appear in Crank 2.
He was in both crank 1 and 2
There were quite a few people from the music industry who acted in that sequel.
4:58
Love the little Enter Sandman reference
And the Napster sue aswell.
Manson looked like Tori Spelling
***** Be my guest
No he looked like gwen stefani

He's more feminine.
What about Flea as one of the nihilist's in The Big Lebowski?
ottifant64 Was quoting The Big Lebowski sorry that u didnt get the reference
Probably because he wouldn't believe in it.
@@LeatherCladVegan Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, your opinion, man.
Or Eddie in Baby Driver
Christopher Martin fleas been in like 30 movies. I think this was just the first he was in.
I've seen back to the future so many times, how didn't i notice that? And same thing with tenacious D!
same
Henry Rollins is a full-fledged actor at this point. Gibby Haynes was also in Dead Man. Gwar was in Mystery Date.
oh and also chester was in the first crank movie as a pharmacist.
Chester was in crank 2 on the race course
He wasnt a pharmacist he was a junkie telling Jason Statham how to get high. Might want to rewatch that again.
It´s so weird to see the Metal God being pushed around like that o_O he could have blown his skin off with a scream
mickey rourke: fucking pussy *pushes rob*
*next scene*
rob: hey fuck-face *screams so hard mickey's eyes explodes before his head does*
Nobody:
Alice Cooper: I think one of the most interesting aspects of Milwaukee is the fact that it’s the only state to elect three socialist mayors.
does this guy know how party or what?!
Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains in the movie "Singles"
Subscribed Yes!! Awesome movie!
Too obvious.
Yes
That scene at the coffee shop was so great.. the review about Citizen Dick that trashes the singer but says the band was ok... Eddie's like "a good review for us is a good review for you" lol
Was just going to comment this.beat me to it.
Guns n' Roses appeared in one of Dirty Harry 's movies called The Dead Pool!
Ozzy Osbourne and Gene Simmons in "Trick or Treat" is one of Ozzy's funniest cameos.
+Anklepants Skate Zine I was about to say the same :D
Lord Alfajor Actually, that's really the only Ozzy cameo I know of. It's still hilarious though.
+Anklepants Skate Zine Gene Simmons was also in the New Guy
marcorock101 I haven't seen that. He was also in the Mike Judge film "Extract". Not the greatest movie but still enjoyable.
I love that movie. I bought the dvd ages ago for a couple bucks. To bad that when you google this movie, you find the other trick or treat with the voodoodoll creature thing.
Jerry Cantrell in Jerry Maguire
Yes
I was about to type that lol
Anthony Kiedis and Flea in "The Chase"
+DiabeticMadman WHAT!!!
***** Yeah Rollins is the cop right?
+DiabeticMadman Yes
White Zombie also in "Airheads" Anthony Kiedis, Flea, and Henry Rollins were in "The Chase" Trent Reznor in "Light Of Day"
Light of Day had freaking Joan Jett as the star
Grohl's cameo was the best one by far
Dave Grohl is great at making funny videos. Well, the Foos are great at making funny videos.
for some reason, I love the jump Dee did
The Rammstein openigscene of Tripple X is so epic. I also love Flea's cameo in the Big Lebowski over Back to the Future.
Okay is it just Me Or Marilyn Manson Looks Like Christina Aguilera In Drag Lol
You’re not wrong.
Flea was actually dece, marilyn manson and henry rollins are just straight up good actors. They’re so good in sons of anarchy
Jonathan Davis was in Queen of the Damned.
+Shaxi They also sing the music of Lestat band
There’s just something so wholesome about Lemmy’s cameo in Airheads, just puts a big smile on my face and the best cameo in my opinion.
Didn't show Ronnie James Dio in Pick of Destiny. He even sings, that is a worthy selection.
You also forgot Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam in Singles (1992).
Rush in I Love You Man, Alex Lifeson was in a vampire comedy, Taylor Hawkins in CBGB, a bunch in Rockstar
You not only forgot Flea was also in Point Break but both Flea and Anthony were in The Chase with Charlie Sheen as a pair of would be vigilantes trying to stop a car chase. Anthrax in Calendar Girls, White Zombie also in Airheads, Wayne's World 2 with Aerosmith, Sebastian Bach in Gilmore girls etc. The list is endless but this was a fun trip down memory lane.
You forgot Zakk Wylde in Rockstar
As well as the great Myles Kennedy
killer1one1 don't forget jason bonham, Stephan Jenkins, Jeff Pilson, Blas Elias, Nick Catanese, and Brian Vander Ark
Also, Cheap Trick in Daddy Day Care.
Cameo....role....two different things
And Michael Starr (Steel Panther).
ZZ top on Back To The Future 3 ??!
That's not actually them is it? I thought they were just pretending to be Zed Zed Top
@@TheOFamily5rocks I thought it was them.
What about Slipknot in rollerballs or whatever the movie was called
+Ize H rollerball*
Why tarnish this list with Slipknot? I mean if you like that band good for you. But it's good they didn't taint it with Corey Taylor.
They put Chester Bennington in the list. Both those guys are into trailer metal.
Ize H The only good thing about rollerball was slipknot...as said by the band themselves, and I agree.
@@unguidedreaper7763 ?
This was the first video I saw when I opened UA-cam just now.
And I laughed.
That thumbnail is fab.
Seeing Lemmy made my day. RIP Lemmy.
Hey. Were's TOM MORELLO in IronMan??
And... Kiss in Detroyd... Or Steve Vai in that movie with 'Daniel-San' (LoL)...
Tom was also in Godzilla.
Steve Vai in Crossroads is one of my favourite scenes ever!
This needs a part two because there are so many metal bands that have been in movies.
WE'RE NOT WORTHY! WE'RE NOT WORTHY!
i knew it'd be here LOL
Lemmy had my favorite cameo.
Glad to see Rammstein on here, they are my favorite band!!!
Joe Schnebly yes i love them too, they are the best!
I don't know German or I'd listen to them.
@@juliegogola4647 I don't know german and they're great. Learned a few german translations because of them.

YES
Slipknot in The movie Rollerball & john Davis of korn in Queen of the Damned
Corey also makes a cameo in a Sharknado movie
David Bowie in Labyrinth.
Spudvader ... and Zoolander.
That was a full role for Bowie in Labyrinth. It was no Cameo. Learn the difference.
Not a cameo that was a starring role.
Mick Jagger and David Johansen in" Freejack" with Emilio Estevez, Gene Simmons in Miami Vice,
1:55 I can listen to Adam Sandler say OzZy? all day
Zakk Wylde in Californication, and in Rock Star :D

Righteously put together list M. Dude. You were the first one (subsequently I mentioned it in my own comments before coming across yours now) to mention Ministry's appearance in A.I. Plus listed a whole lot more that I had either forgotten about and a few I didn't know about, damn fine job brother.(!)😝
Add all that to this
Rammstein in XXX?
Carl McCoy from Fields of the Nephilim was also in Hardware.
4:10
A quite interesting interpretation of Panteras "Fucking Hostile" :D
Damn it to hell...you're right though
Myles Kennedy was in the movie Rock Star, and yes, I know that most of the people in the movie were musicians, but Myles only has a little part at the end.
Just another example of Myles not getting his due. But I'm not bothered. As long as he keeps putting out music I get to hear with Slash and AB, I don't care how popular he is to the mainstream public.
"I'M THE DEVIL! I LOVE METAL" (riff part) "CHECK THIS RIFF IT'S FUCKING TASTY!" (short guitar solo)
Just realised at 2:18 Gave Grohl is playing on a guitar that looks like dimebag Darrell's
Steve Vai in Crossroads?
right when I was about to ask "what about Rammstein?" I saw their cameo. HELL YA!
Dexter Hollands scream has me dying
also loved the cameos of Micheal Starr and Myles Kennedy in Rockstar
the devil has a pantera guitar
Well, its a Deans Guitar. But Dimebag used this guitar since he was beginning to play guitar so it kinda became a pantera trademark
+Martijn Kemperman it's not a dean. It's actually I crossover with Washburn using a similar body. Notice how it says dime on the bottom of the v of the headstock and barbed wire going up the lining instead of saying dean with wings. (Basically, what I'm saying is, it's Washburn not dean)
Brody Mosier you are correct. I forgot washburn made these type of guitars as well. Apologies
+Martijn Kemperman it's fine. Not everyone necessarily knows as much about a subject as the next guy. Did you know, dimes father, Jerry Abbott, bought him a les Paul as his first guitar?
+Brody Mosier wow!! did he throw it out? xD
Green day in the Simpsons movie ?
When I first saw it, I was like "a three guy band?"
Yes OMG!
yeah missed it too
+EthanTheKoala TV Yeah it actuall was Billie Joe Armstrong who did the voice of himself in the movie.
Matt Ambachew they r nt metal😂
The ozzy cameo is incredible some of my favourite people in it
What a dynamic list man! 🤘😁
When I found out Dave Grohl was the devil in Tenacious D I was shocked considering how capable he is on becoming a badass metal musician... I still wanna hear him in more metal songs
Wish granted.
Flea was also in The Big Lebowski.
R.I.P., Lemmy. You and Motorhead were amazing live. :*(
And Dime Bags Guitar as well
The Lemmy one is hilarious
3:05 to shove Rob Halford man...I’d be scared to do that
Jonathan Davis of Korn plays a ticket seller in Queen of The Damned. 😂
I'm crying of laughter at Jim Carrey rocking out to Cannibal
I HAVE SEEN BACK TO THE FUTURE SO MANY TIMES HOW HAVE I NOT NOTICED THIS!?
Axl Rose was supposed to be 'The Dead Pool' but he didn't turn up till three weeks after the movie was open, so Jim Carey played the role instead.
Hell yeah,Rammstein!
RAMMSTEIN FOR LIFE 🤟🤘
how did I not see any of these
Why are you forgetting Singles? Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden were there!!!! Joey Belladona in Pledge Night. Meat Loaf in Fight Club (jared leto was also there but he wasn't still a musician) Tommy Lee, Gene Simons, Henry Rollins and Vanilla Ice (at the time in a metal band) in The New Guy. Also, Danny Lohner was with Maynard in that scene from Crank.
Anthrax in Married with Children. Carcass Jeff Walker & Bill Steer in Red Swarf. Joe Elliott in Dark Realm. Ok, these last were tv shows.
Flea and Anthony Kiedis were also in The Chase.
You missed Armored Saint in the movie Hellraiser 3
I've seen some of these movies. Big time RHCP fan & I've seen back to the future many times & I never spotted that. The other's I've seen I spotted but never Flea.
Flea & Henry Rollins actually have quite the acting resume. Same with Iggy Pop..who.. off the top my head was in a particularly iconic movie Tank Girl. Also, Marilyn Manson had a cameo in "Jawbreaker".. ummm, L7 played a song in the movie "Serial Mom".. same with the band Boss Hog (Mark Spencer side project) was in the old MTV movie "Joe's Apartment".. and Soundgarden & Alice in Chains acted and played a song in the movie "Singles"..
GWAR in "Empire Records"...
..Placebo played a song and had a acting part in "Velvet Goldmine"...
..Offspring in "Idol Hands"..
..Davie Bowie starring & Soundtrack for "The Labyrinth".. + more..
..Wouldn't haven mentioned the fact that Keanu Reeves was in a sorta cinematic music video with Paula Abdul. Epic music video "Rush Rush" .. but he was highlighted in a movie here.. so I'm saying it.
☆If you don't have it already you should do a list of actors in music videos. In the music video hay-day before UA-cam/The Internet there that was a common thing. There are many. ♡
..im kind of a nerd when it comes to this.
☆NOSTALGIA! Thank-You! ♡
Some random dude in China: 2:07
The Chase had Flea, Keidis, and Rollins, Flea was also a tattooer in Son in Law (yes the Pauly Shore movie). Davis Johansen played a cab driver in Scrooged too.
What about Jerry Cantrell in Jerry Maguire? Jerry Cantrell ( Jerry Maguire 1996 )
"Just hang your balls out there" Lol
What about Flea as the Nihilist in The Big Lebowski? I think that's his best role yet. Yes even though he only had a few lines he was hilarious.
Also fun tidbit... Cannibal Corpse is Jim Carrey's favorite band. He also featured a song from them in the movie "Me, Myself, and Irene." I read a long time ago him saying how he tried to get one of their songs in almost every movie he does if it is a fitting song for the scene. So next time you watch a Jim Carrey movie and there's a metal song playing, it's probably Cannibal Corpse. I never expected a goofy guy like him would love death metal so much. Oh an of course he's rich and gets to fuck a Playboy model. Lucky bastard.
There's contradictory info on Carrey and his death metal affinity. His son-in-law, himself a death metal vocalist, a few years back insisted Carrey hated death metal. Paul Mazurkiewicz not long ago stated Cannibal Corpse nearly turned down the Ace Ventura thing because of tour conflicts, and when they actually got on set after Carrey re-arranged shooting dates for CC (!), he allegedly was ridiculously happy and even knew all the lyrics to Hammer Smashed Face and Rancid Amputation.
That said, Carrey's take on Napalm Death, as condescending as it may look, actually is executed pretty fondly and with some *in* knowledge. So who knows. Maybe now Carrey is born again metal hater considering death metal one of his youth mistakes.
yeah I would say he either did a 180 after becoming a protective dad and hates metal now. But you're right, there's no way someone would take the time to learn lyrics and inside knowledge about a band or genre of music you can't fucking stand or go out of your way to get a certain bands schedule to match up with movie production...I'll take it all as BS and misinformation and that Carrey really is a metalhead :)
