    I know its too late now, FWIW I use 38mm gates on my 5.3 twins and it controls boost very easily and takes up less space. Also to save $ 3/4 copper plumbing fittings work great for drains. You can solder them and all.

    Josh can you take the oil feed flange off and tighten the fitting where it's on a flat..or possibly just loosen the flange and try to spin it on

    Just jam a ps return hose on the turbos no need for a fitting

  • @HeadFlowInc
    @HeadFlowInc Рік тому +1

    Boost reference at the intake manifold is more accurate. This is essentially true when running an intercooler which restricts flow/boost before getting to the engine.
    Non-intercooler then it should be the same at the Turbo vs Intake. 🤔🤔🤔

    Can we have some dyno pulls to back up the 1000 hp claim ? Not saying it won’t make it. But I think everyone that’s following this channel would really like to see jack properly tuned and some real HP numbers.

    • @SniderTron3000
      @SniderTron3000  Рік тому +3

      There's almost a zero chance of putting it on a dyno and having someone else tune it. That's like $1,000 that I'm flat out not willing to spend. Mph numbers is what we want to know what kind of power its making. 120-122mph in the 1/8th mile at 3700lbs is right around 1,000hp. Which should put us in the 5.80-5.90 range in the 1/8th

    Have you ever seen that level of control with a 4 port on a LS-specific application? to be able to adjust from 5-35 psi with no artificial pressure being placed on the dome of the wastegate?
    Thought these engines, among other mid to large displacement V8 engines, were notorious for back pressure issues, especially in single T4 format, necessitating the use of CO2 to control the boost above a certain pressure ratio....
