Wondering what size turbo you have ? i have 5.3 in a 91 obs with a 78/75 vs billet wheel . it runs good but always want more power !

My build is similar to your I got a 96 obs shortbed. I got a 2005 lq4 with a 219/224 cam. It's gonna be a street truck some track trying to. Decide what turbo to use. Thinking 7875 what you think looking for 800 whp. You think I could build my 4l80 myself

A 7875 is a lot of fun on the street. And yeah, you could build an 80e yourself. Just do a lot of reading and take your time

3 inch mild steel for the hot side and just some cheap 3 inch aluminum for the cold side
