The day when Kiren Rijiju (then sports minsiter) announced all motorsports as sports finally in 2020 will be seen as the day that changed the Indian motorsport senario imo. Geet, I would further like to make some clarifications as there is some other misinformation in your Video. 1) UP State elections were held in 2012 and leadership changed in March 2012 and not 2013( so 2 out out of the 3 Indian GPs were held under Akhilesh Govt). 2) F1 management was taken for a toss because they thought they would only be dealing with the Central Govt( Delhi UT) ... But didn't realise that BIC is actually part of UP and not Delhi.. 3) The Tax respite was given to F1 but, the process was complex, as when the F1 teams brought in thier parts, Machinery, cars... They were charged with the various taxes...and as they left the Taxes were reimbursed.... The problem was that it took nearly 4-6 months in this process and the F1 teams and Management were losing out on Financial Interest incurred during the aforementioned period... Bernie and Teams wanted relaxation on the same , which was in pipeline but eventually failed..
dude you said it was a title decider on all 3 occassions, And you said it 2 times🤷♂️.. but it's was only during 2013 the WDC was decided...2011 &2012 neither the WDC or WCC were decided in BIC
Yes, they must get the part of the invested cost recovered from advertising and sponsorship not lay it on people only... like how newspapers do (in general)
i think the problem is that the ticket cost of F1 are way to high for an average indian, which might pose a problem. I mean, if americans were complaining about ticket prices what will we indians do. Not including the wealthy people in India. But as a middle class dude in India i would love to be in the stands by shelling not more than 3k or 4k.
Tushar bhai, A single day ticket for the two open picnic stands could have been be bought for Rs. 3,000 in 2011 and I am sure if they come back now, there will be enough craze that the advertisers investments will help even lower the ticket cost burden on the viewers.
@@F1withGeet I don't think ticket was the issue bhai dandhiya khelne laakho log 5000 se jayda ki ticket dete hai even in UP. forget about much wealthy states in terms of per capita
Making a new track will too much expense but yes I like the idea of F1 near Mumbai, Pune or even a street circuit near Goa next to a water body like Miami, Singapore or Jeddah 😍 What say!
There is only 1 reason for the F1 pulling the plug on India, i.e- Tax Regulations.... All your other reasons aren't much of significance.... Ticket sales usually sees a drop of about 20-30% after the inaugural season, because the Inaugural one will always have the attraction of First time experience.... As per Bernie ( Ex Head and Owner of F1) , The F1 management team was actually surprised and overwhelmed with the response that F1 generated in India. They weren't expecting full capacity to start with,, and expected s decline of over 50% for next few years and then gradually stabilizing over a period of time..... F1 was in expansion stage and it wanted to tap into nascent markets and India was just the right recipe for the same. F1 management wanted to shift the India GP to March from October for 14 season,, BIC and Sponsors backed out as they felt they weren't in a position to host a race within a span of 6 months... Moreover India GP was carried out in the business end of the season, which had a better impact then having it slated as season opener.. Therefore India GP was ousted from 14 calendar, Although it was slated for a return in 15 , but F1 was experimenting elsewhere..... .BIC's inability to host a race for 2 years coupled with the whole TAX mess, India GP lost its place from F1.
F1 won't make a comeback again to India I mean according to the recent sources the ticket price is also nearly 20k. People will think about it. Also remember the first time Race happened there the promotors gave nearly 25k tickets for free to many automobile companies it companies etc.

Bilkul Suraj bhai, the tickets are just out. I definitely want to come but still figuring out the difference between different types of tickets, there is regular, ace, premium charged etc. A bit confused but will book one for sure.
@@F1withGeet bro! Shall I check with the management if the UA-cam Content creators have any perks at the race?
@@surajsingh3794 wow that can be huge, you can you really do that? And yes i am quite excited to come to the race. Though I haven't yet bought my ticket but i want to.
We need f1 in india too
Watch the onboard of vettel's qualifying lap at buddh, it's crazy fast....such a shame...
Very well explained..
Thanks
I'm going to Buddh international Circuit on 9 October.
Moto gp, Formula E etc will now be held for 5 years in India🇮🇳
I knew about MotoGP but thanks i wasn't aware about FE also has a commitment of 5 years
Fim managed to do something which led to moto gp coming up next year so maybe maybeee...... hopefully fia will also do something to for a comeback in India but again the issue is the f1 calendar is stacked las vegas adding up next year
Yes but the currect Concord agreement says max 25 races so there space two more hopefully South African GP at Kyalami and Indian GP
@@F1withGeet fia will never move out of middle east, those money minded pricks just need money, except bahrain and saudi we dont need any more middle east races, remove miami, vegas, monaco
WE FANS NEED THE RETURN OF
MALAYSIA, KYALAMI, INDIAN GP, AND HOCKENHEIM OR NURBURGRING
Lets hope for the best 🤲
@@hardyaroy2303 bsdk k nibba fia and fim aren't a charity organisations, that ur cursing them for being money minded pricks. Such classic bsdka. gulf country have rich oil money which indians don't have. Bugger start supporting local events rather than running after f1. Do u even know 5 indian motorsports athletes apart from narain kartiken and karun chandok. Bata bsdk f1 fan.
Let's All of us Mail F1
So they might consider it
Bsdk leave f1 and start supporting indians talents whom people like don't even know, how much they struggle to keep afloat in motorsports. Bc netfix dekh k f1 fan bane bc.
Let's start an appeal through social media and gather as much support as possible
Thank god u didn't blame yogi aditynath for bic issue. You spoke the truth, its a welcome sign that motogp has come back but fim is also just testing hg waters with this. I hope motogp bharat turns out successfull but people who follow motorsports need to understand that to make these events successfully india brands and people need to come forward for motorsports also, people in india are biggest hippocrate they don't support or admire local talents but want f1, formula e and motogp to be successful. Events happening in kari motor speedway and mmrc madras has very less viewers only 67 or 70. Indian brands like tata nad mahindra also need to invest in development of motorsports rather than investing in Europe. And how can I forget to mention a amazing failed project by Ms dhoni known as mahi racing. That bugger could have easily made or helped talent in india instead he wasted money in sbk in Europe and failed horribly . Only few companies like tvs racing and hero motorsports, jk tyre have done something for motorsports rest all brands like tata, mahindra, yezdi, jawab, Bajaj are buggers. Who don't invest a penny in motorsports in india.
I respect that you have spend time on the research of Indian Motorsports. With enough info i can make a dedicated video on it, given that you are willing to share the same. My email id is formula1withgeet@gmail.com
If only they made this track in Coimbatore or somewhere in South India, people and governments are more educated and open to investments and sports.
Very excited for Formula E in Hyderabad. I hope that goes well so we have a case for FIA
2011 That time i loved it 😍 i saw the vettel
Please yaar sab support kro aise event ko MotoGP ho ya F1 yaar socho apne India me ye event hota rhe to kitna mja aayega mai to yaar reh nhi pata hu bina moto GP dekhe
They will one day 🙂
Hope it comes back soon.......
I loved that I know I am 9 yrs old back then 🫡
Bro entertainment tax😂😂....thats why education is important ..it was a great opportunity for our country ......
Bro make more info video about moto sports also you got one more S>b
I am a noob at moto sports, hence a video on that topic might be wrong but thanks for your support. Let's make a strong Indian F1 community 🙏😇
@@F1withGeet see i like that being a content creator u accepted that u lack over all knowledge of motorsports in india. But i do not blame u or its not ur fault,. The fault is off indian automobile brands like tata, mahindra, Bajaj, eicher ashok leyland, that they don't spend a penny to develop motorsports in india, but they spend huge on motorsports in counlike america, Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Paraguay Thailand. But not india. Bcoz these company treat motorsports as marketing tool. Not as a research and development program after all certain companies i mentioned above don't even ha e thier own engines they are just assembly plant car or truck companies.
@@F1withGeet but if u need help I can help you, I have done certain market and economic based research on why motorsports is and will fail india. U can contact back. And will share everything for free. For goodwill sake to fan motorsports in india.

Nice video
Thanks
Moto gp will be back in 2023 at buddh international circuit.
I am so angry at the government for not supporting the sport
It's the FIA decision now, with the coming of motogp into the mix i think maybe not next year but for sure 2024!🤞
Hope so too
Not before 2025
i need it desperately
Thanks Mohit, for correcting the errors. Yes you are correct, the UP election were held in March 2012. Do you have a source for the 2nd and 3rd point?
@@F1withGeet yes, send me your email id...will forward the same
Just to add clarity, I was also a part of The F1 India Project.

Hi Bro.It's absolutely a Vettel track. But Vettel has retired.
thank god ban to gya racing track.... kabhi na kabhi hogi firse
dude you said it was a title decider on all 3 occassions, And you said it 2 times🤷♂️.. but it's was only during 2013 the WDC was decided...2011 &2012 neither the WDC or WCC were decided in BIC
Yes I have added this in Corrections (video description), I appreciate your comment.
Kash iska problem ko jaldi solve kardee,,,,
SIR U MISSED THE GREATEST WORK OF ART OF HARMAN TILKE, THE SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT, MALAYSIA
That's true, it is one of his top works.
f1 ticket costs are ridiculously high ,,, it wont appeal to people if they price it that way
Yes, they must get the part of the invested cost recovered from advertising and sponsorship not lay it on people only... like how newspapers do (in general)
And Hyderabad E prix happened today
i think the problem is that the ticket cost of F1 are way to high for an average indian, which might pose a problem.
Should there be 2 different venues for both Moto GP and F1 in India?
BIC has multiple permutable layouts so 1 track only can be changed according to the length and intensity requirements.
Tickets sales declined mainly after m schumscher retaired
Come from drog baba community post like your video make more video about f1
Welcome!
I was there for race but the track shoud be near to mumbai not up
Making a new track will too much expense but yes I like the idea of F1 near Mumbai, Pune or even a street circuit near Goa next to a water body like Miami, Singapore or Jeddah 😍 What say!
@@F1withGeet indeed indians should not support any form of arena motorsports. U know why ????
F1 management wanted to shift the India GP to March from October for 14 season,,
BIC and Sponsors backed out as they felt they weren't in a position to host a race within a span of 6 months...
Moreover India GP was carried out in the business end of the season, which had a better impact then having it slated as season opener..
Therefore India GP was ousted from 14 calendar,
Although it was slated for a return in 15 , but F1 was experimenting elsewhere.....
.BIC's inability to host a race for 2 years coupled with the whole TAX mess,
India GP lost its place from F1.
I actually didn't know about the shift in the slot, nicely explained thanks 👏
F1 won't make a comeback again to India I mean according to the recent sources the ticket price is also nearly 20k. People will think about it. Also remember the first time Race happened there the promotors gave nearly 25k tickets for free to many automobile companies it companies etc.
Ticket price is 20k and higher for Grandstand area and F1 Paddocks... There is picnic area as well for which one had to pay only 2.5k
i hope next time FIA decides to come here , our govt. as greedy as they are ,try to cooperate more
