It is a great service that you provide of setting up the guitar that you sell included in the price.
FS850..'the price point is $499...or $399 or $329, something like that' LMFAO
The 820 line has mahogany laminate back and sides and a bound neck. Definately worth the small premium in my opinion.
Yamaha FS820 is my dream guitar. I like small body and solid top, mahogany back.. One day I will buy it...
Great...❤
Hey there, thanks for quick introduction to the series! Quick question. I'm interested in an FGX 830 that i saw recently but have one question.
What's the Exact difference between an FG and FS series? Body shape? Is the 800 better than the 830 when it comes to materials? I'm interested in the preamp and inbuilt tuner the fgx 830 has but want to know your opinion thanks!
FG is the large body and the FS is the small body. The 830 has better back and sides(laminated Rosewood). The preamp and tuner are bulletproof. If your looking at the FGX830C I would recommend the A1M or A1R instead. They are close in price and way better in my opinion and the preamp is the same. Good Luck!
@@guitarsunited @Guitars United thanks for the quick response! So, I'm taking your advice and taking a look at the A series, the A1M and A1R. So, the A series is like a "better" or upgraded version of the FG series? or is it just like a different line?
and, between those 2, which one has a more brighter sound and which one a more opaque/fuller sound? I noticed that the A1M has spruce and mahogany (back and sides) and the A1R has Spruce and Rosewood (back and sides) but i'm not sure how these would diferrentiate in sound in the long run. Of course, I know similarities in sound are going to be there but from a professional view, how would you describe each of those 2?
Thank you.
The rosewood back and sides have more bass and tent to be more popular. The Mahogany will be brighter. The tops are Torrified/aged in the A series as well. Yamaha also focuses on the neck feel more and really makes the guitar feel incredible as well.
@@guitarsunited understood. Thanks once again! Btw, right now I'm living in Poland and have been quite hard to find these guitars. Most stores do not stock them, and seems like I'll have to go for the FGX830c . I'll keep looking though but I believe the 830 would be a great upgrade for me right now either way:)
The 830 series also have bound neck and bound headstock which looks classy. In my opinion the Fg guitars are great value for money, sound great when played, and are well made. Ive tried the A series, and think they are good plugged in, but I dont play amplified and I think the fg sounds better unplugged. By the way, I also have an LL16D and an LL16/12 which are all solid construction and play and sound AWESOME!
I am undecided between the fg840 and the fg850 which do you recommend?
We like the FG840 Maple.
Im drawn to the 850, but havent played one yet. Looks gorgeous though. 🙂
Hi. Which one do you between Fsx800c or cpx600? Thanks.
FSX
@@guitarsunited thanks sir. Is apx600 sound bad acoustically since it's not a solid top? Is the bass quite bad compare to fs800? I don't have chance to try it at shop since it's pandemic in my country.
Correct the FSX is a better choice because of the solid top it has a better sound, now the laminated top on the ATX will last longer and harsher weather
Apx
@@guitarsunited sorry. One more question 😂. Is apx600 has better sound than f310 and f370?
What is the difference between fg800 and fs800
The FG is a large body and FS is the small body
@@guitarsunited thank you very much!
BUY THE FG FS 800.....ALL OF THE OTHER PLIED WOODS ON THE BACK/SIDES MAKE ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE IN SOUND...I PURCHASED THE FS 800 TO TAKE WHERE I WONT BRING MY EXPENSIVE GUITARS..IT REALLY IS THE BEST GUITAR FOR THE MONEY..
My experience with the 700 series is that the 730 and the 750s sounded fuller. Not louder but generally fuller and had a bit more sparkle. I think it maybe due to 1. Likely more senior craftsman working on these or 2. The ply core of the rosewood and maple was of better quality. Anyhow that's my experience. Remember than not all plywood is made equal. But I do agree with you. For amified performance and banging around. You want the cheapest and best setup instrument.
False, hear a couple of recordings the difference is loud and clear.
Fg800 or fs800 ?
FS800 is more popular at my shop!
I want to buy an acoustic guitar. Yamaha FG800, FG820 or FG830 is better?
Fg800
@@guitarsunited Thanks for the help! 😁😁
Anytime
Each one ... can't be beat...🤔...must be an 8 way tie.
To play the FS series you have to have fingers like pencils
My FS820 is my first acoustic after a few years on the electric, i'm 6ft2 200lbs and can't play it fingerstyle to save my life. So it's not just my problem? Super narrow string spacing?
valebliz I'm 6ft and I have thick long sausage finger, I can play any style so smooth on my fsx820c , yes the string spacing is 10mm compared to my Epi les Paul which has 11mm string spacing but practice makes it perfect
I find them quite easy to play, my hands, however, are sometimes not up to the quality of the guitar...😑
China?
Hence the price, when you get to the 5 series they are Japanese.
YOU DO A VIDEO AND YOU DONT KNOW YOUR OWN PRICES ????????????? VERY SAD . YOU DONT KNOW YOUR JOB AND YOU PUT IT ON UA-cam BlaaHaaHa
Yes, they have changed through out the years.
