    As always, Justin demonstrates he is an excellent teacher, providing every detail of the song, which is very important if you want to play a song properly. The devil and the success is always on the details. Excellent tutorial

      As I recall Justin did have some problems with Bob Dylan songs and GNR songs (copyright issues). So I do not think this will be possible.

    This is a much more complicated song than it seems. I have been playing this song for a long time, but it never sounded like the real thing. Taking your advice I played along to the track and realised the rhythm is 'complicated' . Sounds much better now,

    Going to get onto this tomorrow. I have a joyo high gain distortion pedal and a joyo voodoo octave so I'm all set. Ive just 'roughly' played the intro, the rhythm was off but the notes sounded just like the original once I turned a few knobs on the pedal.
    What i'm wondering though, do I turn the octave off when i turn the distortion on?

  • @gamminggjohn7435
    @gamminggjohn7435 7 років тому

    At one point in the video you said that for the E power chord you use the strigs A , D and G ( you did not say it that way ) . I know that you can only use the first two strings of the cord , witch for that cord are A and D . I mean , let's use the C power chord as an example . If you use only the first two strings A and D , the notes you get are C and G , witch are the first and fifth note of the C major scale , that's why , for our example , the C power chord is also called C5 . I mean , it doesn't really make a difrence when you use a distorse , but if you have a concert when you sing many songs with only bar chords and power chords , your fingers can get tired , so using only two fingers for the power chord can make all that way easier . I know I might have a lot of mistakes , but englisch is not my native language and I am too lazy to look for a mistake in this huge comment .
