- What a game! Incredible! Honestly got a bit emotional during some of the cut scenes here! Cal and his story is awesome, what did you guys think of that ending though??

"AVENGE US" That was the most compelling sounding line ever! The voice acting was superb. RIP Trilla!
I loved that line. Loved how she acknowledged in her final moment that she was just another victim of the Empire and that the Jedi had to stop them.

I'm a huge fan of Vader and that moment you hear his breathing.. literal chills. I love how he's so overwhelmingly powerful you literally can not compete. It's truly terrifying.

at first, I thought Greeze was a stupid character then I finished the game and now I wanted more conversations with him.
I mean... there was that whole vision of what would happen if they used the holocron. Destroying it was really the only option.
You don't know if it was real it could've been something else it's like Yoda said the future is always in motion and always changing that vision Cal could've been a false future.

Cal's decision to destroy the holocron was based on the entirety of the playable sequence in the vault. The Force showed Cal what would happen if he were to use the list to gather the children. It would just be a repeat of what happened to Cere and Trilla, but Cal would also turn and become an Inquisitor himself. It wasn't all for nothing, it was for the best of everyone on the list.

this is arguably the greatest star wars product ever made next to the KOTOR series....all they got to do is fix the map system for this game
Will baggiins Personally I really like the map system, it was pretty confusing at first but when I got use to it I started really liking it, I guess it doesn’t work for everyone though.
Many got desapointed that the list got lost everyting x nothing, but in perspectic this was to find 2 powerfull jedis that wear lost = )

It wasnt for nothing u kept it from the empire so they can't track them down and besides he opened it so they most likely got some if not most of the locations memorized

Well, its definately great, no doubt. I'm doing my second play through now on Grand Master.
But KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Jedi Outcast, Empire at War, Shadows of the Empire, Rogue Squadron 2, Bounty Hunter and the original Battlefront 2 were also amazing games.
This is definitely towards the top with KOTOR 2 and Jedi Outcast though imho.

How can Cal not know who is darth Vader but cere does ??!!!!
Cal was a Padawan who survived Order 66 and grew up hiding from anything important. Cere was a Jedi Master that was actively fighting the Empire. Seems reasonable Cal would be in the dark.
Cere met vader briefly when she was captured, she tells kal about him earlier in the game, he frightened the crap out of her. Kal has been deliberately living under the radar in a back water for many years, he hadn't had any contact with the inquisitors at all.
That's how I felt.
Played the whole game. Then he destroys it at the end. So the whole game for nothing lol.
Only thing I really dislike is the animation of running done to the player character. It just looks so unrealistic and stupid how he has his feet wide spread all the time.

I have to say any other circumstance i would have been really mad to have the end boss not even defeated by me after building up to that the whole game and working through all the challenge. I believe Respawn knew throwing in Vader would have been the only thing not to piss people off with that ending ha
How do you fail on he first attempt bud? Seriously? The game makes it pretty fuckin obvious as to what your supposed to pull, hence the bright blue outline on the object..... :/

Best Star Wars game hands down?! Uh KOTOR will always be the best Star Wars game ever. 1 and 2 were AMAZING. I also liked Jedi Academy better than this game. This was a good star wars game but a broken game in general. Too many glitches and bugs IMO.

I didn't encounter a single bug. KotoR 1 and 2 are the greatest SW games for sure, but how you gonna mention bugs as a negative for this game in the same breath? KotoR games were buggy as hell. This game is much much simpler and linear so nothing really breaks it. It's a better piece of single player content than JA. JA just beats it cos of multiplayer. But JA's campaign was like 5 hrs long.
@@ilovemgs4 I literally laughed so hard! Youre so right in that statement. Its honestly been so long since I have played them. But here is the thing, with the reputation of Respawn and EA they should be putting out a flawless game. So when their names are on it expectations are very high, criticism is very high, and its consumers are very demanding. Reasons are obvious with EAs involvment. Bioware and LucasArts were just putting out such story rich star wars games the bugs didn't really matter. It was also 10+ years ago. I think we as consumers were a little more forgiving.
@@ilovemgs4 JA had the best lightsaber customization, force powers, and battles. Mods are fucking awesome too. I feel like more of a jedi in the first 10 minutes of JKJA and Outcast than any other SW game. KOTOR is debatable but turn base fighting is very different.
I didn't like that they destroyed the Holocron, as finding the force sensitive kids would be an obvious set up for the next game. I get what they were going for, but I still feel it gives the story more weight if they actually did go threw with attempting to re-establish the Jedi.
Not to mention it just doesn't make logical sense, they're still being hunted by the empire so they could use the help and they went threw all of this crap just to basically be back at square one.
I hate to say it, but a lot of what makes the storyline memorable in this game is the fan service (Order 66, Vader, etc). Admittidely, it's fan service done right, not just a bunch of references thrown in for the member berries. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the next game is like to see if this story can stand on it's own. Just please don't pull a Last Jedi Respawn!
William Cronshaw Well them training a bunch of force sensitives would maybe Mess up some things because this is canon, where would they all be when Luke fought Vader and all this other stuff was happening. And the one positive thing about destroying the holocron is that the empire won’t find the children, the empire could have killed or switched them to the dark side.
@@Rolle-vx9ot i didn't say they had to succeed, obviously all of these characters will have to die at some point in order to not destroy the cannon of the original movies. But leaving the holocron in tact would have set them up for the next game.

I beat the game. Yeah..the ending is rather abrupt. What's the point of hunting the holocron if you want to smash it. Keep it hidden after all its not easy to find.
So that no other force wielder can have access to it, i.e. the empire.
Visions in Zeffo vault literally show Cal's padawans getting murdered by stormtroopers and Cal kneeling before Trilla and becoming Inquisitor if they use the holocrone are you fucking braindead
Oh my does no one notice the vision is the future if he used it you just be slow to not notice destroying it keeps it out of the empires hands and the Padawans Alive for the force to guide then

which explains why they would have not have known about luke or many others. Although this needs a sequel because now this is canon, i almost expected him to die because of it but we need an explanation why he is not around for the films. Why i luke the new hope and return of the jedi when there is already a powerful up and coming jedi threatening the empire.

@@sneakyguy4444 by gameplay standards and he will grow more after this game. You cant really compare Luke's fight with vader because vader barely did anything in the original films. They never showed vader as powerful as he has become in expanded universe and games and shit. So ya he lost but he has a lot of potential. The point is cal is still a jedi that is alive after order 66 so they have to do something about that not to interfere with the films about luke being the return of the jedi
