I have the first one and my microwave is 1200w. I change the power level to 60% & pay attention to when the popping slows as you do. I’ve burned a lot of popcorn to perfect it. Thank you for the review.
I use the first one (on Amazon it actually has several brands) and give it to friends and family. Collectively we have a great deal of experience and believe that this is a very good way to make popcorn. I put 2 Tbsp. of Coconut oil and a 1/4 Tsp. of popcorn salt (Flavilcol) in the bottom and heat that for two minutes in my 1000 Watt Microwave. My niece tells me that putting the popcorn in with cold oil tends to make the results soggy. I then add 50mg. of popcorn and give it 2 min 20 seconds to pop. With the Coconut oil and the Flavicol the result is "movie" quality. As I would at the movie, I add about two Tbsp. of melted butter. I buy my popcorn and supplies on Amazon. The next time I make popcorn I plan to use the "sensor popcorn" setting on the microwave.
I'm concerned if these are truly Silicone or if they are fake cheap plastics, if you google the manufacture of Silicone it's more intricate and more expensive than cheaper plastic alternatives that are less safe to be exposed to. I would like to move away from microwave bagged popcorn, but if I'm getting my cancer from this anyways what's the use?
I found two of the glass poppers at the thrift store. I found the three quart for $4 and the little one for the same. I got both and have never had better microwave popcorn. Btw, you are Ray Romano’s twin. Love your channel.
Out of curiosity, what do you do with the products when you're done reviewing them? I adore popcorn so I really enjoyed watching your video :D I'm sick right now so videos like this help make the day a little more enjoyable :)
The products I review are purchased for me to use in my kitchen, occasionally I give some away to friends and family. Thank you for watching and supporting my channel, hope you feel better soon😊
Don't you think it depends largely on what popcorn you are using? They say keeping kernels in the fridge makes for a better pop but I haven't tested it out.
I have a microwave that isn't as strong and I used yellow kernels in the one I got on Amazon @ $8.99 it is like the collapsable one, every kernel popped, I was very impressed but it took longer to pop in a 900 watt micro @ 3mins 35 secs. but that doesn't bother me because popcorn bags are about the same, I just like this will save me money in the long run, but I will have to say I never got instructions, so I popped on youtube and watched a news channel use it....funny!!
Hey JuJu Bee, they state in the instructions that butter or oil can be used, just keep an eye on them as it may burn depending on the strength of your microwave. I'm my 1200 watt microwave it started to burn before all the kernels finished popping.
Great demonstration ,l ordered the folding one , Easy to store , bought two , one for my boy who has three kids , it will go down a treat Christmas 🥳🥳🥳🤙🤙🤙
@miraggg I did not keep the popcorn in the glass container after popping, transfered it to a bowl. I suppose that if I had kept it in the glass container it may have gotten soggy. Thanks for the question. 😎👍
Oh man I dig this I really love pop corn too what a super cool yummy review Joe ! I like the glass one because of the butter option haha Better get popping bro haha lots of New movies coming out soon!! ✌🛸🌞😎🍿💗
Had to remove the glass thing to barely get my tiny popper to fit in my tiny oven and burned the hell out of my popcorn. Next time only go 2:45 and not until popping stops. I`ll get it eventually.
👍🏻 Pretty good...no you didn't count all the kernels BUT, only the first one appeared to be from a cold start in the microwave whereas the others went into a primed chamber🤔
I've been looking these and you're the only video I found with all 3. Great review!
Thank you. I'm glad the video was helpful.😎👍

The glass ecolution is THE BEST!!!

Great demos. Getting one of those because I am sick of oily popcorn! Do some more demonstrations, you're a great reviewer.
@C_Farther thanks I appreciate your support. 😎👍
A paper bag works GREAT!
Just put your kernels in, fold the top a couple of times, and pop!
No oil, no salt necessary 😁🎉
you have to be careful. most brown paper bags are made from recycled materials and contain metal and other non paper materials.
But the salt gives it flavor. Who wants to eat flavorless popcorn?
@@englishatheartI like to sprinkle air over mine and pretend it's butter and salt

You look like Ray and you sound exactly like him too. I'm going to watch all your videos just for that reason. You are great on camera.
I agree. I heard the voice and thought it was Raymond..lol yep, looks like his double also...:)

@Kathy Wilkins Thanks for the suggestion, I havent tried refrigerating them but I will next time I'm popping! 👍😊
I love the glass one I have that I wouldn't own another

could you use the packaged popcorn in the silicone bowl???? I do not have the
instructuons..
Don't the instructions say NOT to use the popcorn button?
Did you add butter or anything or you put it in the popper plain
Thanks for the question. In this review I didn't add anything but I have used some butter in making popcorn afterwards and it works great.
Hi Everyday Joe! I'm just curious... are these all for dry popcorn? Or can a small amount of oil be added? Thank you. :)

@@YourEverydayJoe Thank you. :)
Anybody tell you you could be Raymond's twin? You even sound like him.
@Kathy Wilkins I seem to be getting that alot here on the channel. I may have to reach out to his agent.🤣👍
And it's a big differens wich corn You use... 😮 Won't the butter explode in the microwave?
Great demonstration ,l ordered the folding one , Easy to store , bought two , one for my boy who has three kids , it will go down a treat Christmas 🥳🥳🥳🤙🤙🤙
Thanks. The folding one is the most used in my house. Great idea for stocking stuffers.😎👍
did you find that your popcorn got soggy with the glass one?

Love it ❤
The glass poppers instructions say to not use the popcorn setting.
Wow thanks 😊
Good Job!
Thanks PJ.😊🙏
You can make a Lemon Butter Sauce for the popcorn it can probably give it a different flavor.
Never tried lemon butter on popcorn. Going to have to give it a try soon. Thanks for the suggestion. 😎👍

In Macau China they speak portuguese hahah
Nice pic on your refrigerator. Is that you and your lovely wife?
Yes it is. Thanks.
👍🏻

What the heck is a Chinese/Mexican popper?
Huan Juan?
I was surprised only A minute and a half. Most instructions ive seen are for three minutes
mine in a paper bag is 1:22
Just a hint: Portuguese is not Spanish. And in China Portuguese is also an official language.
Really talk too much just get to the point By the time you get done talking You loose interest and with the product don't mean to sound short🤗🙏
Are you going to review these or do you just like listening to yourself.
You talk to much saying unessasary things
