- The reign of King Aerys i Targaryen is one of instability as the hand of the king Brynden Rivers know as Bloodraven held most of the power in the realm as the Blackfyre Threat loomed across the narrow sea. Unable to procude a heir, Aerys made the kingdom seem weak and thus during his reign was the short lived second Blackfyre rebellion of Daemon ii Blackfyre at the wedding tourney of lord butterwell at whitewalls and then the bloody third blackdyre Rebellion led by Aegor Rivers, Bittersteel and Haegon Blackfyre. Meanwhile the fourth son of the future King Maekar Targaryen was wandering up and down the seven kingdoms of westeros with a hedge knight Ser Duncan The Tall.

Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen was trapped on Dragonstone by her brother King Aegon ii with no way to escape her fate. What was to come was the final showdown between the two main players of the dance of the dragons and bring the war into its final phase. The House of the dragon was crumbling and the events that was about to follow would only cause more damage to both sides of the war.

I'd pay the iron price to see Bloodraven and the Great Bastards portrayed on-screen.
i think it is highly likely we see them at some point after HOTD has finished with the dance. Aegon IV and the great bastards have everything you want to make a great tv show.
I think it will depend on how well the Dunk and Egg show does. Part of why we got HoTD and not Blackfyre is HoTD has dragons and Starks while Blackfyre has none. Dunk and Egg will be a dragonless show. If it works, then Blackfyre. I'd rather it be a 3-part movie, though. @WorldOfWesteros

2nd Blackfyre rebellion is more of a joke than a true rebellion how goes
For me the Peake Uprising sounds a lot more like a Rebellion than the 2nd Blackfyre Rebellion which is basically the meeting to plan an actually rebellion

Aerys is another example of why of why a Blackfyre would be better while he seems like a good person he never really did anything as king and let Bloodraven turn the 7 kingdoms into a police surveillance state.

No sorry bittersteel but aside from the og daemon. I would at least put Maekar above the rest of Daemon’s line especially since Brightflame came from Maekar. Let’s raise our cups of wildfire to the true house wronged by house Targaryen.😊
Not sure why a Blackfyre would have been better. Is there anything in particular that one of the remaining Blackfyres had (leadership,intelligence,etc…) that would have been that much better?

We don’t know for sure, but GRRM set up the fact that Daeron ii’s kids had a mix of Targaryen and Dornish features. But I don’t think its outright stated he does or does not
Pretty sure Aerys 1 was super gay or Asexual.
from a couple of throw away lines in twoiaf i tend to believe he was likely Asexual, but there isn't really any 100% proof ether way.
