All are trained in classical piano.
All sing lead, and harmony.
The bassist is trained in jazz fusion, and has perfect pitch, metronome timing.
They've been a band for 10 years, and have performed in front of at least a million people to date. Their 4th album is about to drop.

They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started.
The band just celebrated their 10th year anniversary.
- 👩🏼 Daniela (Dany) Guitar and lead vocals.
She is 24 years old.
She plays piano and saxophone 🎷.

Taylor Momsen and Lzzy Hale both have better voices than Dany.
Few interviews Ive seen Ale doesnt seem reserved its just that Dany and Pau cant stfu and just talk over her 24/7, i guess that's the curse of being the youngest.
@@SCHTRAM Alejandra is not shy, contrary to popular opinion. She is an introvert. Different things. I do think Alejandra, for the most part, defers to her older sisters, but it seems to me that the other two sisters do push for Alejandra to speak up. I think Alejandra has subjects that she enjoys talking about and when when she does she speaks a lot. On other subjects she might have a strong opinion about she might defer to her sisters.
When the three of them are together in interviews pau is the one that talks the most and she does not really let her sisters get a word in I have come to realize. But all three of them seem real sweet and very humble and smart beyond their years. Paulina's just a firecracker lots of energy don't know if she has ADHD but it doesn't matter because she'll take it out on her drums LOL Dany I call her the funny goofball but she does also throw out the personality of being a real loving caring and devoted person to her fans and family, Alejandra in my opinion might be quiet and reserved a lot of people call her an introvert but I really don't see that you watch a lot of the interviews she is actually pretty outgoing and very social when she has time to talk and funny Alejandra is the secret weapon of the band I'm a bass player so I realized that her bass playing was at pro-level when she was at the age of 13 her backup vocals with her sisters are remarkable and her piano playing is undeniable and in my honest opinion she may be the most talented of the three. But anyways that's my opinion!

As an old rocker, and now TWA member, I know what you are feeling! These sisters have a familiar, yet new, sound; everything they do is planed and executed to give every song just what it needs, and maximum energy. They don't record a song just to fill up an album! They are, in my opinion, the best power trio on the planet! You love their harmonies,( the fourth member of the band) but individually, each member brings a level of skill and professionalism, which is unheard of in today's Music scene. I only discovered them about a year ago, but they are an obsession that I sure am happy I have!

The next best thing to being there is their 2022 concert at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. This brilliantly produced live show features songs of their entire third album, "ERROR", along with other great songs from their previous two albums. I did see them live a few months before the concert noted above. I am looking forward to seeing them again, hopefully soon! Their 2018 concert at Lunario CDMX where they showcase their second album, the concept album "Queen of The Murder Scene", is also great!
So you know, once you find The Warning, you cannot un-find them. And that feeling you get the first time you hear them, it just doesn't go away. Their catalogue is deep and not a single bad track. Dany, guitarist, is mainly the lead singer. Pau the drummer also has showcase song that she performs the lead. She also does the higher harmonies but, not always. Ale, the bassist, frequently does the one octave lower harmony. However, Pau can do the octave also. The more you listen the better they are. These sisters are live performance monsters! I have never seen a band have so much fun on stage and completely kill it. The Warning Army is a self described fan base that covers all ages and countries. As you learn more, their grip will tighten. There is nothing like The Warning and there never was.⚡⚡⚡
You might have seen them 10 years ago in a viral Enter Sandman rendition. The bass player, Alexandra Villareal, was 9 back then, the drummer, her sister Pau, was 12. The third sister, Daniela, was 14. This video shows where the journey has taken them: VMAs, concert halls of 5000+ people, shows with Muse, Guns & Roses, Foo Fighters and others. They don't have a weak song in their 60 song catalogue, and when it comes to live perfomances they're second to few if any. Lzzy Hale told her band to get back to practice after The Warning opened for them (she also gifted Daniela a guitar).

I am always looking for people's first reaction to The Warning, sometimes I get to see one that looks genuine and yours certainly did. I really enjoyed it and I think you will really enjoy listening to some of their other songs. They have an uncanny ablitlity to develop great hooks and it is interesting to watch them grow. How often do you get to witness songwriters as perform original songs from a very early age and watch them grow musically from very good to amazing. They are still very young and will continue to experiment and grow and I am excited to watch it happen.
Epic Rock is fitting. lol IMO , they are the future of rock.
They are the Villarreal Velez sisters from Monterrey Mexico. Guitarist Daniela (Dany now age 24), Drummer Paulina (Pau pronounced Pow, 22) ,and bassist Alejandra (Ale 19). Dany sings lead on most songs, Pau sings lead on some. Ale will sing lead if they need her to, if Dany is sick or needs a break, but prefers the backing vocals. Playing together over 10 years now, their straight cover of Enter Sandman (at ages 14,12, and 9) was posted for family and friends, and went viral. a couple EP's and 3 full albums to date. Their 4th album will be out this year.
This was the extended play stage , prerecorded on Friday before the awards. Only a couple less than a minute clips were shown on the Tuesday broadcast. Only artist here not nominated for an award. And only artist on this stage to do both of their songs in 1 take.
Pau was named Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year 2023.
"More" is the other song played here. The music video for their newest song "Sick" was recently released. Check out anything from the 22 song concert at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022, suggest starting there with "Disciple".
All of this, right here. I can't say that I've seen them live, but they eventually put the entire Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022 concert on UA-cam last summer.
When The Warning Army (TWA, fans) say You have been Warned! what they mean is that the last song you listen to from The Warning will be your new favorite. For a little bit more of the drummer singing, I suggest Dust to Dust or 23 from the 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert. Their super power is live performance. The band members are Dany (Dan-nee) guitar, Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) drums, and Ale (Ah-leh) bass guitar. They have been a band for over 10 years. All are classically trained pianists. They write all their own music and decided when they were young to not be a cover band. They have 3 albums, 50 songs ranging from great to good, and new album due to drop soon. The oldest, Dany is currently 24.
They have 4 albums, including their debut 2015 EP.

They opened for Foo fighters during the tour a few years ago, the tour the Fighters drummer passed, their live video of "Money" is the one played a lot.they do an excellent cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" with a Warning sound
On the behind the scenes video for the VMA performance you see the producer I believe it is walk by and exclaim over the comms to everybody "Holy shit!" after this song 😅

Welcome to your new favorite band. You have been Warned! Three sisters from Monterrey Mexico, english is their second language. Dany (guitar,) 24, Paulina (Pau) POW! 22 Drumeo Rock drummer of the year for 2023, and Ale (Alley, bass) 19.
The MTV producer followed them off stage and said "I'm a Fan! Holy Shit! I'm a fan!" Each stage artist was allowed three takes; the other two acts lip-synched and too multiple tries; these Ladies walked out and nailed both songs, totally live, in one take.
Welcome to The Warning! I would highly recommend watching their 2022 Teatro Metropolitan concert. I'd suggest Z, Animosity, Disciple, or Choke to start with but you can't go wrong with ANY song from that show. Pau, the drummer, takes lead vocals on Dust to Dust, 23, and Narcisista and trades vocals on Disciple and Survive as well as backing vocals on just about every other track. Enjoy the rabbit hole, You've Been Warned!

You were wearing a pretty big smile for most of this performance...get used to it. There is a whole lot to love about these 3 sisters and the music they create. As a music teacher you will find all sorts of stuff to love about this band.
Yes, sister harmony vocals are just one of their superpowers, and there are many you will discover.
Plus(!) they are singing in their second language, wait until you sample them singing in their native Spanish (Hint - Martirio, Live at Teatro Metropolitan). You don't need to be a Spanish speaker to love what you hear.

I call that _The Warning Smile_ , and it's delightful to see new reactors show it. Watching that grin break out on nearly everyone's face is the main reason I bother to watch "reaction" videos of them. 😃
I know the Warning Army is going to come out and deluge you with recommendations, all of which will be epic, but they have been a band for over 10 years already (think about that!) so I think you would really enjoy seeing the video for the title track from their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" that they released in early 2017. The song was written by Paulina, the drummer, when she was just 14 years old and the other sisters were 12 and 17 respectively (that whole album was written by them). The song is powerful and poignant, the lyrics are intelligent, the energy is raw, and the video can only be described as cinematic. Absolutely epic and a key milestone in their amazing career. You have been Warned!!
Yup, the XXI Century Blood music video is one of the best ever produced. A true work of art for each and every sense!
It only took 64 years for me to find perfection in all aspects of a musical message... and it leaves me pondering life and society every time I go through it. Extraordinary experience with a stunningly strong point for anybody of any age. Pau's grasp of life at such a young age is mind-blowing... add in the amazing instrumentals, intense vocals and superb videography and a masterpiece is born. Truly phenomenal.

The Warning are a sibling band three sisters from Mexico: Dani is the lead singer, Pau the drummer also sings lead vocals in songs like "Dust to Dust" a song from their concept album "queen of the Murder Scene" and and earlier song "Survive" they performed iit during a Ted event. The Bassist Alejandra was 8 when they started putting videos on you tube, Dani is the oldest and Pau the middle sister.

They are finally blowing up. Getting so many well deserved accolades and awards. They also are getting the main stage at many upcoming fests in Europe. Pol Rocks averages 250,00 a day on their main stage./they will be there the day after they play Wacken. On the recent shiprocked cruise they did the encore at the all star jam to close the cruise.30 bands there.
Shawka, thanks for your first reaction to my favorite band, The Warning. You picked up on many of the reasons why they are my favorite. Their harmonies complete their power trio sound, which I find infectious. Each sister has an infectious personality. Each is a rock prodigy. I don't know of another rock band that sounded so good at ages 13, 11 and 8 when they began, just over 10 years ago. They write incredible songs, often warning the world about the problems they see, and that is what rock should be. I have seen them live 4 times and can't wait for my 5th.
I felt the same way that you do, the first time that I heard this band and that was last September. The reason you can't put your finger on why you like the song, is because they're just so incredibly good at everything that they do. Like that bass line that you didn't catch until you listened to it again. There's so much going on, you have to listen multiple times to unpack it all. From their amazing song writing and arrangements to their fabulous instrument playing and vocal harmonies. They're insanely talented and they always look like they're having so much fun, its infectious. I see that TWA (The Warning Army) has already shown up to tell you everything that you need to know about these fabulous young women. TW won't stop surprising you and pick any song from their catalog, there isn't a bad one in the lot. I'd continue with Dust to Dust or Enter Sandman (the only cover that they still perform at every concert) from the Teatro Metropolitan concert in Mexico City, Aug of 2022. Seeing them live is unlike anything I have experienced in the past. I have been fortunate enough to see them perform 3 times in person at smaller venues. The shows last fall were as packed as a smaller venue could possibly be, it's a matter of time before they are only doing larger shows. They are the future of rock.
They are a great live band. The pro-recorded videos of their concert at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX on their channel are the next best thing to seeing them live. You have been Warned! 😎👍

The Warning are Alejandra on bass, Paulina on drums (the one you refer to as the set player), and Daniela on guitar. All three sing and all three have been classically trained on piano from a very young age. Welcome To The Greatest Band On Planet Earth !
this was such a huge and powerful exhibition they gave with the short time they were given... they performed two songs, *More* (done first) and this one, *Evolve* which is certainly a fan favorite... Pau (drums) came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either...
i understand that MTV is still looking for their roof LOL
i'm quite proud and happy for DPA/TW for making these milestone appearances at two MTV functions, the MIAW in CDMX (back in Aug 2023) and the VMAs in NY&NJ (Extended Stage) (in Sep 2023)... three additional milestones for their VMA appearance are
1) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the VMAs,
2) they were invited to perform,
3) they were not nominated for anything...
those speak volumes in a great and huge way! now add to that they have been doing this for 10 years... most of that was while independent...
i would also be remiss if i didn't mention that this performance was real unlike the other groups that also performed here... DPA/TW did both of their songs fully live and in one take each while the other performers lip synced and took all three allowed takes... the ""best"" of those takes was selected for airplay... DPA/TW were also the only ones to be announced on the main stage when it was time to present their performances...
watching Pau (drums) firing her *_"Scream of Evolution"_* toward the heavens releasing all of her frustrations and pain so she can *Evolve* and grow past them is always a treat 😜 she has described the scream she does in *Evolve* in similar fashion and she brings it for real each and every time they present this hard rocking power ballad in concert or live sessions...
Pau has also stated that playing here on this stage was a very _surreal moment_ ... she said the stage was very much like the stage in the game Rock Band... i can easily see that they might have felt as if they had been transported into the game... i'm sure they imagined similar when they were playing the game as children and just beginning to find their path in life pre-2012 or so... in Aug 2023 they celebrated their 10th Anniversary as a band... i can't wait to see what the future bring to them!
Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ...

It's so fun watching someone go in blind to The Warning and have such a good time that they're looking around for their keys to go immediately to see them live. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this one, living the harmony, instuments but that scream of the drummer gives me chills. In a good way.
A friend of mine told me to check them out about a year ago, I was hooked instantly! Saw them LIVE at Welcome to Rockville in May and went to the Meet & Greet. They were such sweethearts, but on stage they are fierce and they ROCK!!!

It´s time to take the Red Pill 😜 but this is a WARNING!! There´s no going back, these girls are addictive!! I saw them live at a Festival in Mexico and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Here are some suggestions: Disciple, Black Holes, Error, Dust to Dust, Hunter, Animosity, Revenant... who am I kidding!! I LOVE them all, try anything!! 😁

It is very nicely crafted and all 3 of the ladies stand out equally in their playing. Yes, Dany's vocals and guitar work blow my mind every time I hear that song.

The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They have recently finished recording their 4th studio album: no name or release date yet.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #48 original songs (and recently finished recording their 4th studio album). They performed 2 songs at the MTV VMA's last September and just dropped their 2nd single that will be on the upcoming album.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.
Btw 19 year old bassist Alejandra already has a Signature Model with Spector bass guitars. 22 year old drummer Paulina recently won 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year on Drumeo's poll. She also won 2023 Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's poll a few months ago.

Best thing about them is that they are some of the nicest, down to earth people you will ever meet. They treat their fan base like family and its definitely reciprocated. These girls have a mission. They live breath eat and sleep the mantra that The Warning will be the best band in the world. When they are home they stay in the same room they grew up in together, when they are on the road they are always close on the tour bus and when they stay in a hotel they are almost always together. As they said they are together 24/7/365 along with their parents. I first saw them in 2014 and have watched with joy at what they have accomplished. I have not heard a bad original song from them and some of their covers surpassed the original artists and they made them their own. They have tons of live videos out there already and with each sister being able to sing lead the future will hold limitless videos to react to. 🤘
Yep; Ale can hit the lower registers quite well. Interestingly, she also does a very clean and musical falsetto when required. She is kind of the musical "glue" that holds the whole band together, even if everything but her thundering bass is relatively understated. She is "the Human Metronome" with "Perfect Pitch" and corrals her sister's exuberance with practiced and subtle ease. ⚡🤘⚡
Bass player Ale can sing from very low to very high. We all wish she could take lead more than she does. Maybe someday...
Good reasons to love them, a lot of people agree: Energy, enthusiasm, harmonies, so skillful you might not hear a single moment off beat or off tune for dozens of songs in a row, even live. Great lyrics, composition and song structure, while sounding unique. Plus in person, they're humble and down to earth. In the past, they always did justice to the covers, and had great taste in music even before they became teenagers.
I love it when a reactor from the past I like, that I subscribed to, finally finds the band I found 2 years ago. So much has happened for these girls their whole careers it would fill a book. Wow! Just wow! This is the performance that got me going down The Warning rabbit hole. They are an awesome three sister band from Mexico. I'm sure The Warning Army (TWA) will give you all the information you need in the comments. I will say this, though. Their best produced music (sound and video) is any song from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX concert which is available here on UA-cam.
The low voice is from Alejandra the bass player. You know, the one who looks like a victora's secret model.
I have been enjoying rock for 50 years. TW are my favourite band. That is how good they are. Ale is my all-time favourite musician. She is utterly amazing.
Interestingly, Ale (pronunced AH-lay, more or less, the bassist) also sings very high parts in falsetto at times in other songs. They can all sing that low actually, and any of the three of them do those low octaves backing up their sisters in different songs.
Talking about low register voice, just wait! They often use octave harmonies to fill the vocals, and it's most often the Drummer...err...the "set player". She sings the low octave so well that it almost looks dubbed. Oh, and she takes lead vocals often!

I saw The Warning in Cincinnati in August 2023. It was a great show from these three sisters. Daniella "Dany" on guitar and Paulina "Pau" are outstanding performers with a ton of charisma. Alejandra "Ale" seemed to be having an off night, but that happens. You could hear every instrument perfectly, the show wasn't too loud (I feel old just pointing that out), and they played roughly fifteen songs. They met BAND-MAID at the Aftershock festival in California in October 2022 (I might have the month and year incorrect there) and the two groups expressed interest ina tour, but so far, nothing.
Pure energy surely does describe Paulina on the drums. I would add raw and unadulterated.

This was done in one take, with the stage director's hot take being "holy shit, I'm a fan". All other acts took multiple takes to record their segments, I read. One of the best bands out there. They are big, will be huge. There is not a bad song in their entire catalog, the musicianship is off the scale. Yes, they are amazing live. I would listen to the video of Martirio though, as it's beautiful and is sung in spanish (they are from Monterrey, Mexico).

I saw them in May with 300 other people. This is/was their encore. They are amazing live. Their performance was only topped by Band-Maid, who I saw 2 days later at the same venue, albeit with about 3x as many Maidiacs.
Seen them twice live. Energy is amazing live. You will not be disappointed.
