Good shooting Mark, I’ve really gone off the bolt action on these pcp s , that’s the one thing I really don’t like about the Gamo Phox, think if I ever get serious about shooting pneumatic guns it will be side lever , hw100 ,, can’t see it though love my springers to much ,, cheers buddy Shane
I’ve found that it’s the pellet most of the time with my R10 ,it loves JSB 4.53 but anything else I need to put 4.52’s down it, I also found out the magazine does not like the slightly larger size
If that was my R10 i would throw it in the river....if its been to Ratworks the loading should be smooth no wonder the accuracy is off you must be damaging the pellets when loading and that bolt handle jumping is ridiculous
Apparently Ratworks brought a John Bowkett rifle and tried to copy his work one guy got his rifle back and they told him that the shrouded bore barrel doesn’t actually do anything and it’s a waste of money but before they took it he tested it and found it was 4db quieter than the silencer on its own. You could probably do what they do on your kitchen table.
Quite shocked at those groups from a tuned rifle, my old airtech tune would do 4 pellets through same hole well near enough and the 5th just touching. I’d send that back it’s not right
What the hell is wrong with the bolt i have 2 X BAA R10'S .177 and .22 they are as smooth as silk. One is J Bowket tuned other is brand new factory set only. Good with all high end pellets.
Ramming that bolt makes my blood run cold.

I was about to send my rifle to Ratworks. Now I'm thinking better of it.
I always see what the grouping is like before adjusting the scope, could be making adjustments and just chasing bad grouping
the cocking action on that looks very off , i think i would be getting that looked at asap

To be honest mate Airtech does a much better tune, mine will group quarter that size and better at that distance.
looking at the grouping i thought you was using a air pistol free standing, i wouldnt want that as any sort of advertising
Try the JSB 10.34 g or go for the Cometa Heavy 10.34 in.177. My BSA Ultra loves them... That R10 should do better on paper? Thanks, love the content.
seems like you have trouble cocking and loading most of your guns,,is it the pellets
Pellets don't make any difference to cocking
