Changing the EQ on Hetfield's vocals on this specific track really does just transform the Justice vocals to the Puppets vocals. This is the best rewritten version of this song I've ever heard. It's about on par with the original for me.

bloodlinefilms yah. The driest metal you’ll ever hear is old Prong lol. I agree with the production decisions on Justice. Despite that, I fell in love with the huge soundscape that Maiden captured on Stranger in a Strange Land and even Leppard’s Hysteria (even though there’s NO reverb there - just delay). When I master my work, I’ll sometimes add reverb to the master if the feel is too dry.

In an alternate reality, Cliff has a fallout with the band, leaves and is replaced by Jason. The Master of Puppets world tour still happens, but is delayed and a sober bus driver is hired. No-one dies in 1987. After releasing 3 best-selling albums with Newsted, Newsted leaves to start his own musical projects and Cliff eventually rejoins. Metallica goes on to release more great albums with Cliff Button and the rest is history.

many of the songs on lightning, puppets, justice were arranged in certain order - #1 starts slow and gets heavy as fuck. #2 title track. #3 more slow and plodding. #4 slower start/sad song but hitting very heavy at the end. 3rd last has complicated arrangement. 2nd last is instrumental, last is most crazy and fast. lightning kind of was the groundwork for this, some differences there - instrumental is last, creeping death would be more of the last song in the formula with another song in it's place... also third last is escape, which i have always liked, but did not belong as an album track at that time - they have written like fifty of those kind of radio songs now but at the time it was out of place.

    Amazing dude!
We can hear a lot of difference. For example :
    A REAL singing voice.
    A REAL bassline.
    A REAL tempo.
    And nevertheless :
A REAL studio work (mix, engeneering, beer... Etc 😂)
I REALY love it man!!! 👍🤘

This was fucking sweet. I gotta say my favorite part was how you extended the outro. Same with how you added that ascending riff in the chorus behind "Blackened is the end." Fucking loved it!!!
