Hi, Good work :-) what size eyelets are they please (internal and external mm) as online they quote these sizes and so need to make sure i get correct size. thx.
Hi. No, its not a heavy duty groundsheet. I like the groundsheet for this tent to be lightweight. But I guess if you use tarpaulin 120g/m2 it will last for a season even if you camp on rocky terain. Then you could make a new one for next season. Or use a thicker tarpaulin.
I bought the stuff from a shop in Sweden. But i guess you can find it at you local hardwear store or search for eyelet punch for tarpaulin and tarpaulin 120g/m2 at Amazon.
Very cool out of the box thinking. Bought thick rubberised material and made a new sheet for my day shelter following your design idea. Cheers.
Thank you, I am happy the move was helpful. Cheers!
Great idea for a cheap groundsheet, I mounted it with self-adhesive Velcro tape inside the bivouac to seal the base from water and drafts.
Nice idea, maybe ill do that aswell. Thanks.
Awesome stuff like it :)
