this is truly the most passionate and enjoyable review I have ever seen, including the background music. And the full explanation. It is absolutely great.
Excellent review. I have one and honestly think its the best angling purchase I've ever made. Probably shaved 20kg off my loaded barrow weight too, compared to taking my usual bivvy. So well designed and made 👍🏻
@joelB2106 : Blimey what bivvy were you previously using if you’ve saved 20kg….not forgetting this Fox jobby weighs 3.2 kg. It must have been a 10 man Armo !!!! 😂
Hi I really enjoy your videos (non bullshit) honest information and reviews which is what people really want. Ps I’m about to fish chester lakes - doddleston lake peg 7 and noticed on there facebook page that you fished there - I would appreciate any tips if possible. Thanks again for excellent true to life videos.
Looking at getting one but not sure I'll get all my kit in like my boat and stuff. Am used to a 150 size pioneer because my lad comes with me but he's getting older now and wants to start sleeping by his own swim.
Great video , been looking at getting a lightweight bivvy/brolly . Was contemplating the fox easy brolly . But now I've seen this , I've made my choice . Thanks bud 👍
Yes I know I'm a year behind... but stilll it is a nice review. Been looking at half a dozen or so similar vids regarding this type of shelter instead of using a brolly.... This so far looks the best to me...putting the Korum Day shelter into second place (priced at £107.99) .....The Fox, I can get for £134.99. I looked at the Eos brolly system....and thought...hmmm... A Solar, Wythwood and a Trakker.. The Fox easy though just looks so simple to setup...all have decent similar space...I'll shut up. I'll wait till me son has a gander on the two to see what he thinks
They are an amazing bivvy. I've only used it twice. I did notice that when a strong wind blew the left side of the shelter it did partially collapse/blow in. Is that a design flaw or did I just not erect it correctly ?
@carprigsandtips3963 hi, as this video is around 1 year old now, how is the shelter now? I am looking to get one, I just want to make sure it's strong enough really. Thanks
Brilliant review mate What is the make of your bed chair please ?I have the Nash dwarf 4 fold sleep system I think it would fit in this shelter what do you think ? I’m a subscriber and enjoy every blog you upload keep them coming mate .I am a74 year old Army veteran and this bivvy ideal for my old Bones to put up and down 👍 😊
no they didnt look like it but trust me was blowing a mad one its sheltered by the tree line at the lake at the back of my house been in some proper storms with it top bit of kit
Thats a really good review,i guess if you left the retaining strap loose, you could make it more low profile without the front on,thank you,my mind is made up as an old fart
There's no quicker erect bivvy than the Westlake Quick Erect Lite Fishing Bivvy with Built-in Groundsheet. £53.00. The downside to this bivvy is the weight at 4.4KG however' for the price, there's none better.

That's why I got it no weight to it and respect for you're service to the country and queen
@@carprigsandtips3963 thank you so much
Very kind 👍
What about the dreaded condensation in winter fox should have put in a inner capsule to prevent condensation dripping on you and your sleeping bag
I don't get much I leave my vents open it reduces it a scull cap would have been good
condensation can be horrendous especially in heavy rain but i still love using mine
Great video thanks
Thanks a lot
Trakker 100t weighs not a lot and up quicker and won’t blow away in 8mph gusts!
Is it with resistant?
150 percent mate water proof
Look at the trees blowing around……..trees not moving lol
no they didnt look like it but trust me was blowing a mad one its sheltered by the tree line at the lake at the back of my house been in some proper storms with it top bit of kit
Great review . I’ve just ordered one ☝️
Top kit
The last time I caught something on my reel was an old boot well I wish there was a sole on it too bad luck man
what is the head height.....will I get a high chair in Im 6ft 2ins ?
Should do mines a high back chair I'd have measure roughly I'd say you would what is the height of the back of you're chair from the floor
The quest xl popup is far better bigger and comes with ground sheet and storm poles
I have the camo easy shelter, absolutely brilliant. Made my fishing easier
I do as well
2 rib bivvy same weight much stronger, just as fast if not faster due to the little bars you use
Ok
Tempest 100 theres no wind at all.
What's the condensation like
Depends on how closed you have it in the day nothing with all closed gets same as any single skin bivvy but doesn't drip
Yeah
Tar
Thats a really good review,i guess if you left the retaining strap loose, you could make it more low profile without the front on,thank you,my mind is made up as an old fart
Probably could but wouldn't be as stable
Would not trust it in strong winds though.
i would been in serious storm with them both set it up wright and strong as owt
If you watch my vid i was in 70 to 80 mph winds at December top pop up stands up to it all
Coulda done without the background music...distracting!
Ok thanks
