First: It is nice to have such a compact tutorial. I don't understand why I read comments on UA-cam saying "I don't know how to use it". That's ridiculous if these people don't use helpful offers. But: There are some aspects that should really be tweaked further, for example the following ... 1) Do not hide the 48 MP option so much. It should really be present in the settings in Photo and Pro-photo modes as an option to toggle on and off right below the aspect ratio, not as a separate mode. 2) Processing on the 85-170mm lens should be a bit more gentle. The RAW files might be a bit soft, but the JPG processing is too harsh on them and degrades the quality. Let it be a bit softer and more natural that way. Would be helpful in comparison to other brand's products. 3) It should be possible to turn off computational stuff in the regular photo modes, too, without having to go right into Pro mode. 4) A shortcut in regular video mode for stabilization level should be added below frame rate and resolution. 5) It would be helpful to have a setting which mode to use on start-up and which modes to display at all: Maybe someone wants to use Pro video, pro photo, bokeh and telephoto macro but not the rest - so he could just uncheck these and hide them to navigate faster. 6) If you really want to knock the competitors out of their boots, you should consider to integrate a sub-menu for the looks like the old creative styles where you could basically set contrast, saturation and sharpness between -3 and +3. I guess that would be the first smartphone to offer something like that. Plus: It would be great to have a Sony-own photo app. Google Photos is garbage. It doesn't even let you sort your folders properly by name nor does it sort the images correctly by EXIF. Editing options are okay, but the viewing/sorting abilities are really far behind. Having switched from iOS, this Google Photos app is really a disaster that doesn't fit the buyers' group of your product.
Mic input volume cannot be adjusted anymore? I think that might be quite useful to add in to the pro video mode again as otherwise you might end up with super quite audio from external mics
Every concert recording done with Xperia starting from 1,ends up with bad audio,no matter what settings on mic.I have mark V since last year,and I doubt the VI is any better! I just hope the next one will record audio at a concert like any 300 euro crapp phone out there!

Oh no!.. i still like the layout of cinema pro and video pro app. Its unique and for me its resembles more closely to the sony pro camera ui. No more fucos racking? No more 21:9 aspect ratio? 😢
Great that you're updating with pro video mode, but I miss the framerates required for PAL countries, 25, 50 and 100 fps. We use them to avoid flickering light. Please, Sony, fix this!

I am Asian from Uzbekistan. I always liked sony phones. but too expensive for me. I can't afford to buy. I have to work like a slave for a year without eating or drinking.
Love these features but Sony should more focus on their HDR processing. Their dynamic range photo is washed out so bad that lose colour and details, let alone their video very shaky at 4K@60. Look at how Vivo can do with Sony sensor and zeiss lens
The previous Pro camera app was better than this one, and don't take it for granted that the 4K screen is removed as Sony's unique signature and the most useful part of the series

I think the new camera app is OK, but we are still missing all the privileges of the Cinema Pro app. I miss Venice and A-B focus.
