Mark, I create a flight plan with Simbrief and did import into P2ATC. While inflight I keep getting a message I am off course. Is this because I don't have current airac cycle? My GNS 530 one cycle and simbrief another causing the issue? I did get a warning when starting the sim that its out of date and had to click understood. My plane was following the flight plan that was exported from P2ATC and on course, but ATC kept telling me I was off course. Any help you can provide would be great!
Hi Jason, normally when you get "off course" messages from ATC it is because the route in P2A is different from what is in your gps. When you get the message, is your airplane on the route on the P2A map? Keep in mind that if you import your FP from P2A, any procedures you import will not work right because it won't import vertical data. I normally don't import procedures for that reason and enter them by hand. Double check that all your P2A and gps waypoints match exactly otherwise you will get complaints that you are off course.
