For years I have used a 5” plastic spring tension hoop on my counted cross stitch projects. That is about to change since watching this video on the Nurge hoop. I can’t thank you enough for this demonstration. I have already ordered one and will probably be ordering more in the future. Thank you again
Thank you so much, I have rola frames for my big pieces but I have been wanting to try a hoop for the bigger pieces as well. I really appreciate this!♥️♥️😊
Thanks Chris for sharing this, I have been using the same nurge hoop and love it. I can see that we use it the same way. I love the square shape, tension on the fabric, and ease of holding in my hand. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
If you don’t mind me asking, how do you know when the tension is drum tight? I’m new to cross stitch and have this hoop, but I’m struggling to find the correct tension for my fabric. Thank you😊
I enjoy using a Nurge hoop. Thanks for the demo!
Thank you , Chris! I use mine the exact same way and love it! No damage here either! Thank you for recommending this hoop!
Thanks Chris, I love nurge hoops, that all I used! Have a nice day🇺🇸🤗🪡🧵
I use this same hoop and I love it. Beautiful stitching

Your stitching is gorgeous! I can’t wait to start this chart. Great video!
Thank you so much for this video, it has given me the exact answer I was hoping for when using my Nurge hoops ⭐️
I tend to stitch in hand but bought an 11 inch Nurge a few weeks ago. Thank you for this example and review.
You are so welcome!
Thank you!
I love my nurge hoops and I’m not always “gentle” with my WIPs and just like you have never seen any damage to my stitches
Thank you for doing this, Chris! It was really helpful! 😊

Thanks for sharing Chris, I may have to buy one, I have the wooden ones and love them xx
Love the Nurge hoop!
You and I use hoops exactly the same. I have never damaged my stitches either.
Thank you Joyce, I can see how it can happen and concern people - I hope it helped quell the fear.
well done, my friend. That is looking really good..... may have to pull mine out and start it
Thank you Nancy! I hope you do!! It seemed fitting for this weekend.
Hi, thanks for the video. I use hoops but I do not use a stand. What size to you find is the the least tiring to hold?

I think it's a matter of personal preference. I like it not to sag or be loose in the hoop.
@@TheCampingStitcher Thank you so much!😊
