1:11 - In a previous question from Scourgetime, you've mentioned Scourges moonshine. Now me and a friend were wondering, What would Scourge's and the members of the suppression squad 's favorite alcoholic drink be?
3:16 - In the distant future, when the world is in flames, and all fall before the Unstoppable Force while the remainder are reduced to ash in its wake... the survivors shall ask but one question: Ian Flynn, what is your supervillain origin story?
5:05 - I’ve always perceived Amy as a victim of prejudice; I‘ve remember discussions online where people were bringing down Amy, [and] I’ve also seen others claim that Amy is an easy target for hate too. I want Sonic Team to acknowledge how much people forsake Amy, call her worthless ship bait, a literal running gag, or an annoying menace, how much Amy has to work in order for people to respect her, what privileges that she loses that Sonic and the rest get, and how inadequate and alienated she feels. Imagine, she could be running the restoration, and there’ll still be people snickering in the back, outright saying, why don’t you just die? Or trip her, laugh in her face, jeering her asking, think Sonic has any time for you? A kid could be wearing one of those Sonic hats, then hide it the second she comes. Is that too much to ask from SEGA?
7:27 - I noticed in Sonic Origins Plus, after obtaining all 7 Chaos Emeralds with Amy in either Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 & Knuckles, there is no message about what form she can take. Then, when she obtains all 7 Super Emeralds in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, a message appears stating that she can become Super Amy. Is this an error, or does Amy have a unique lesser powerful unnamed Super form and can only truly become Super with the Super Emeralds?
9:10 - What are some of your favorite Sonic Boom episodes where you really wished there would have been more than just 11 minutes to tell the story?
10:43 - Everyone loves a good villain, by which I mean a well-written oner of course, but obviously some enjoy a villain who does crimes that aren't downright evil or some that are campy and have that bit of good in them to either be a nuance at best or an ally in the future. So I ask Ian and Kyle, what are some good villains that you enjoy that fall into that category? Along with that, how do you Ian approach writing that type of villain archetype without going overboard in flanderization but also not try to make them do horrible things that are ignored by our heroes?
15:13 - Typically when people make all ages media it's usually designed for a younger audience but can be enjoyed by an older audience. my question is how would you make an all ages story that is designed for an older audience but can be enjoyed by a younger one?

19:31 - In IDW Sonic issue #7, Metal Sonic mentions how his rebelliousness was removed from his coding. Despite knowing this, Sonic simply sets Metal Sonic on the loose in issue #12. This seems cruel. What was Sonic and Tails' reasoning for not reprogramming Metal Sonic like they did with Gemerl?
20:54 - Given that Imperator Ix is the last male character to receive a real super form back in Sonic Chronicles (unless you want to only count canon games, in which it's Silver in Sonic 06, or be pedantic and count Mighty and Ray in Sonic Mania Plus), out of all the original male characters in the current IDW series, who do you see as the most likely to get a super form and what color would their super form be? It does not have to be through the Chaos Emeralds, e.g. Kit goes super with the family-size Hyper Mints bag. I feel like this one may be tougher to answer, so you can include game characters if you feel like it.
26:44 - In Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics, can you fill me in what happened between issues #90-131? It’s too bad that there are no mini graphic novels of Sonic the Hedgehog during those issue gaps! I was only in High school when I got Sonic the hedgehog issue 131! Can you explain what happened in those issues?

31:47 - With Sonic superstars releasing soon and origins plus Manual inserted into plus. I was just curious if we’re gonna go back to character bios in game or at least inside game cases again for sonic games. idk about you but I love reading about the characters in the game regardless of how many times I’ve read about the basis of who they are and of course love reading about the new characters in the games
32:44 - Does Dr. Eggman moonlight as a regular doctor? Are you safe going to him? Is he also an optometrist? If Amy needed glasses, would he be able to find out her prescription?

37:13 - Something that bothered me was the missed opportunity of the character of E.V.E. What would you do with her in the Archie reboot, and in IDW?
40:04 - Are Central City, Station Square, and Westopolis all different cities? I know somewhere that you said Westopolis is not in Central City, but I wondered if Station Square is its own separate city too, or if it's just like, a borough of Central City akin to New York City's boroughs. I figured since Central City is referred to as the United Federation's capital, and in Sonic X (a Sonic Team supported media, even if outdated) the White House was located in Station Square. I know geography is a little wonky considering there's like 7 different Central Citys these days, but I'm just trying to figure if the Central City we saw in SA2 is also Station Square.
41:15 - The Sonic cast is going to see Barbie! Which among the cast enjoys the movie and who goes all out in pink when seeing it? Does Eggman see Oppenheimer instead or does he pull a Barbinheimer?
43:43 - Who’s more similar to Amy: Pinky, Momo, or Uravity?
45:14 - Even if it's mostly a joke, I really enjoy the softer depiction of Shadow in the takeovers and Murder of Sonic, so I was wondering, if you were put in charge of a small, lowkey comic showing another side of Shadow, what direction would you take it?
47:12 - Do the 1st and 3rd IDW Sonic sagas have any names?
48:20 - I was wondering if you could go into how involved you were in page layouts during your time at Archie? There’s always these cool little background details or clever panel structuring going on that I notice in re reads and while I often assumed those flourishes were creative liberties taken by the artists, I was curious if you ever made specific requests for panel layouts, character expressions, etc, or did you mostly just let the artists do their thing?
51:35 - Why does SEGA seem to allow IDW Sonic to basically be game Sonic? Archie Sonic was always clearly its own continuity, with SEGA basically ignoring it. Then, they seemed primed to let IDW sort of connect with the games. Is there a reason for this? Is it because Idw was really well received? Is it because SEGA was very deeply involved from the start with IDW?

Fine, short version of events post SA1 adaptation: Kodos and Uma plan something, then just die anticlimactically. For short time Sonic goes to school and gets superhero secret identity to screw with Geoffrey. Geoffrey is being a jerk, until he sorta learns his lesson. His secret team gets disbanded. Tommy Turtle is introduces and "dies" in same issue. Shadow and Rouge debut, but writers don't know what to do with them.
More humans show up, including Robotnik's family. Eggman roboticized them all for laugh (including Nate Mortgan), Hope Kintobor escapes and lives with Mobian. Eggman accidentally nukes robotropolis.
Mina keeps simping for Sonic, but ultimately she understands he loves Sally and gives up on him.
Then alien known as Bem de-roboticize everyone on the planet (including Eggman who becomes normal human again), except Sonic's dad (his wounds would kill him instantly).
Other aliens, Xorda show up and wants to blow up Mobius (revenge for human dissecting some of them long time ago). Epic 125th issue, Sonic saves the day but dies... nope. He's just in far away in space and it takes him few months to comeback. Everything is different (like Fiona being part of FF, Antoine being broody or Espio becoming ninja or Eggman having kids).
Meanwhile Knuckles unlocks his true potential, turns green become all-powerful (due to being macrovaved as a egg)and then kinda reformed Dark Legion (don't ask for details, it was stupid), but Mammoth Moggul steal his powers and kills him (he gets better, but looses all of his magic powers). Moggul returns in 149. All of Guardians (except Locke) are still MIA.
I bet being in the lore team is mint. Bet Sega has some right funny meetings trying to figure out the lore.
8:10 Tails' OG Super Form was renamed Hyper Tails, and was given a new Super Form in Origins... though, it seems that Origins Plus removed this, reverting it to the original. Odd.

If Blaze had been in Sonic Forces, would it have turned the tide of the war or would it not have made a difference? For example, fighting with Silver against Infinite before Sonic's arrival or transforming into Burning Blaze to stop the Death Egg Robot.

Kit's super form can be called Perfect Khaos.
Today marks the 10th anniversary of the release of Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog issue #252. The issue marked the end of an old universe and the beginning of a new universe, and would mark the end of many characters as well such as Geoffrey St. John, Elias Acorn, Julie-Su, Fiona Fox, Scourge the Hedgehog, Hershey the Cat, and many more. It's still probably the saddest moment in Sonic the Hedgehog history, as not even the Super Genesis Wave survivors would remember any of the victims. It's not much better since Lost Hedgehog Tales still isn't fully released, and I'm just about done with the Sonic Comic community.
43:47 - This totally threw me, because Kyle didn't pause sufficiently between Pinky and Momo, I thought he said MINKY Momo. Because there IS an anime character called Minky Momo, who is a magical girl from the early 80s :O Bizarre show, the creators killed her off when the show lost its funding by having her run over by a truck O.O
