Is it true that the REAL reason the Mario and Sonic Olympic partnership fell through is because the city of Paris has a restraining order on Rouge and Wario? I've heard that there's an alarm that goes off when they even think about Versailles and the Louvre.
I have been thinking about IDW heroes teams for a while, and I have two that are basically already solid Teams Diamond is Tangle for speed, whisper for (fire)power, and jewel for flight. As to why I did not select lanolin as a member of the team, she's a lot more like Amy and that she's sort of a gimmicky sort of support with no defined niche, and I could easily see whisper doing some sort of team attack with jewel using her carapace as a reflective surface to ricochet shots off of. If I had to have lanolin on the team I'd have her also as flying as she uses a magenta whisp which produces sound, which means she has some level of manipulation over air since sound is just compressed airwaves/vibrating air, and I imagine she could easily just use her wool to absorb the sound energy the same way a balloon absorbs rising air / heat energy. Team imposter would have Surge for speed, Kit for flight via pressurized water streams, and Mimic for power. As to why I chose mimic and not Star line with the tricore, the platypus is taking a rock nap, and I could definitely see mimic using his somewhat amorphous body to change into the proper shape to act as either pseudo-muscle fibers or a pair of gliding wings as well as being the most powerful impostor in a sense that he can impersonate anyone, not just those in his category As for non IDW teams, Team eggpire with metal Sonic as speed, sage as flight, and eggman as power (with or without a mech both IDW and Lost World show he's no slouch in hand to hand) would make for an... interesting family road trip....maybe they fight resistance/restoration troops or at least badniks reprogrammed by the resistance? Last but certainly not least is team mascot, with gadget the wolf serving as aerial specialist via the ultimate explosion jumping tool, lot the bird as the speedster through both land and water via his drill wispon, and that purple cat I forget the name of with her void wispon serving as the power type.

In every game he's in his role is always exclusively standing beside Bass and fusing with him, he doesn't even get multiple forms/applications like Rush does, it's always just fusing to let Bass fly and shoot three ways. He's a glorified Ironman armour that takes the form of a wolf when not in use.

@@batman369able I mean I think Battle Network 2? Gospel was a giant wolf made up of computer bugs and served as the game's final boss. In all honesty if they wanted retro Gospel/Treble to be cool the bare minimum would be to have him actually show up AND help in a fight against Bass, like maybe phase one of the fight you battle Bass and Treble, then in phase 2 they fuse instead of the usual where you fight Bass alone and then Treble shows up after he's beaten just to fuse with him or stand around? Or you could fight Treble as a mid-boss in a stage, then have him fuse with Bass for the actual stage boss.
Team Froggy consisting of Cream, Big and Gemerl. One of the rival team fights is just Omega challenging Gemerl to a rematch and poor Shadow/Rouge and Cream/Big are roped into the conflict purely to try and break them up.
How would Sonic X go if Trip and Fang appeared in the series? How would Chris, Chuck, Ella, Tanaka, Topaz, Sam, Decoe, Bocoe, Bokkun and Cosmo react to them?

I think my only issue with the names Forte and Gospel is they wasted an amazing name like Gospel on the fucking dog of all things.

@@batman369able My point stands, he's way to unimportant to have a sick name like Gospel! In every game he's in his role is always exclusively standing beside Bass and fusing with him, he doesn't even get multiple forms/applications like Rush does, it's always just fusing to let Bass fly and shoot three ways. He's a glorified Ironman armour that takes the form of a wolf when not in use.

In all honesty if they wanted retro Gospel/Treble to be cool the bare minimum would be to have him actually show up AND help in a fight against Bass, like maybe phase one of the fight you battle Bass and Treble, then in phase 2 they fuse instead of the usual where you fight Bass alone and then Treble shows up after he's beaten just to fuse with him or stand around?
Or you could fight Treble as a mid-boss in a stage, then have him fuse with Bass for the actual stage boss.
Team Froggy consisting of Cream, Big and Gemerl. One of the rival team fights is just Omega challenging Gemerl to a rematch and poor Shadow/Rouge and Cream/Big are roped into the conflict purely to try and break them up.
