In the Battlefront 2 story, they do mention an addition of new gene types to the clones, though the 501st remained pure. "We never got used to the new guys." Not sure if that's cannon or not, but it's something.

It says something about how incredible Palpatine's power was, and how great his mind was, that he could use the Force to electrify Luke and have his focus there, while also being able to use battle meditation to guide the entire Imperial Fleet above Endor. He was able to control thousands, while having enough focus and strength left over to carry on conversations and fight with the Force. It's staggering to comprehend.
#AskEck *Attempt 415* Can you please do the Forerunners vs The Warhammer 40k galaxy with the Emperor and his sons, Imperium, Tau, Eldar, Chaos, Tyranids, Necrons, Old Ones, and other existing factions. The Forerunners are at their peak strengths and advancements, have all their assets, weapons, armor, capacity, production, super weapons, mega structures, and military AIs like Medicant and Offensive Bias, their manpower is at it's height. Let's say the Halo milky way galaxy is right by the Warhammer galaxy about Andromeda distance and they wish to conquer and establish order.
In Canon the earliest we see Death squadron was a year after Yavin, ambushing a newly refitted rebel fleet, within the Star Wars comics “Hope dies” arc, which was really cool.
And it would hit it's height at 20 imperial class star destroyers and at endor it would be 33 imperial class star destroyers and 4 interdictors and Two Tector class Star destroyers
If given the chance I'd probably clone a mixture of different species from across the galaxy (why just have one) if possible. My top choices would be Transdoshans, Wookies, and Kaleesh as they are all well known as some of the fiercest/deadliest warriors in the galaxy. I'd have Kamino serve as where I'd clone my elite soldiers vs having them all be cloned there. And simply have cloning facilities spread throughout the galaxy so as to avoid my enemies from cutting off production completely.
I love geeky technical details! These videos are great! I wonder what the company/monopoly politics are in Star Wars? We see mostly incremental changes, it seems. I wonder, if most of the existing fleets got spent in a major conflict, would that make room for totally new designs from something from the outer regions?
It's a shame the Executir was designed so ineptly. If it did away with the side trenches, dorsal cityscape exposed bridge, etc. It would have better fields of fire. If they had better point defense systems and layered redundant shielding, they would be virtually invulnerable.
The pride of the Empire! Your description and explanation of this fleet has won you our subscription. We expect great things from you, so long as you don't show sympathy to the Rebels.

maybe it works like a photostated document. if you photostated the copied documents and repeat the process over and over again, the writing will degrade until it can no longer be read.
I think someone explained the reason behind why the Executor got crippled so easily. Not sure if it was this channel tho. Basically, the engines got disabled at the same time as the bridge’s destruction, and there wasn’t enough time for course correction.
@@UGNAvalon Sounds like retcon to me. I (and others) have ragged on TLJ for the same sort of thing, can't spare the original trilogy on it, even if the OT is a lot better.
@@UGNAvalon The primary bridge got destroyed, taking with it most of the more experienced and best senior officers. By the time the secondary bridge became active, the Death Star's gravity had a firm hold on Executor and she couldn't back out in time... That was one of the reasons the Rebel fleet couldn't get close to the Death Star: A crapton of guns and her gravity would lock them in place and make them sitting targets... Unfortunately, staying at distance meant the super laser could take them out too.
#askeck in regards to the cloning process, it was described in star wars battlefront 2 what had happened. The kamino population was looking to find more templates before the empire disbanded clones altogether. The rebels had attempted to clone their own batch of troops, but with the help of bobba fett, the empire assulted kamino and destroyed the facilities while inserting new templates. For a brief time members of the 501st were replenished, but as the veteran telling you the story, they never got used to the new guys. I hope this provides info regarding the question on this vid. Also, any chance you could review the revenge heavy class carrier class from imps the relentless? It's a fan creation but was roumered to be at endor.
Hey Eck, the battle of Deep Space Besh is mentioned a lot in your videos but we don’t know much about it. Since it was very instrumental to galactic history and is mentioned a lot in your videos you should make a video to dive into the battle and the history of it.
Hey Eck, could you make a video about every different type of Star Destroyer? You wouldn't have to go through every single variation within the classes, but I'd love to see a video where you describe the differences between say, a Bellator, Mandator IV, Executor SSD, ISD, Venator SD, Victory, and the others as well! #askeck
#AskEck This isn't technically a question, but I was wondering if you did a video on how you would have won the "ground battle," at Endor. I know you did several videos on how tactically incompetent the Empire was on how they used their fleet and and how you would have won against the Rebels, but it might be interesting on how you would have won the ground element of the battle because let's face it....if the shield generator was still online, then the Empire's tactics though faulty, could have still won......right?
J C X-Wings were actually originally built for the empire, until the Incom corporation went turncoat and gave the plans and prototypes to the rebellion. So the empire lost their xwings. However, they made a tie version of the Xwing called the “Tie Hunter” which is the same concept.
Vader didn't use The Executor to chase the rebels off of Yavin. I don't remember if it was in the first run of Vader comics, or in the main Star Wars comic line, but he wasn't even in command of it until well afterwards, in fact, after Yavin, he was demoted and put under the command of Admiral Tagge as a punishment for his failure, and Tagge was already commanding The Executor. Vader didn't take command until later. Actually, read Lost Stars, it details the Rebels being chased off of Yavin, and The Executor was not mentioned. Also, Thrawn wasn't involved in the galactic Civil War. He was out wherever with Ezra and the Purgils.
I think Death Squadron at the battle of Endor vs the Federation fleet during Operation Return (the battle to reclaim Deep Space Nine) would be an interesting fight. That is with the Death Star II.
Death squadron may have been the most feared fleet but, my fleet was deadlier. Did the rebels ever build more capital ships during the galactic civil war? I'm pretty sure they built at least a few Starfighter shipyards. Can you explain that in a new video?
Factual error (If understandable, of course not valid anymore since Disney reboot) The fleet didn't fall under the command of Pellaeon at Endor. Pellaeon assumed captaincy of the Chimaera (Only) when it's original captain was killed during the battle. The actual command fell under several of the fleet Admirals that were present. Thus leading to a chaotic retreat that cost the Imperial fleet several ships that could have been saved otherwise.
