I think the choices were appropriate, the Ssi-ruu and Duskan League fleets were more offensive formations where as all your selections were primarily intended for defense.

Yeah, I was surprised Kuat ended up at No. 2, especially given the proliferation of Mandators, and I was worried when you said your first choice would be controversial, but my reaction when you said 'Chiss' was more of... "Oh, well that makes sense." Hat's off to this excellent breakdown.
I love your Legends lore videos, you really bring Legends to life for me and without you, I probably wouldn't know anything about it and probably wouldn't care either. Canon is so much easier to follow simply because of how new it is, but Legends is so big that I have no hope of getting into it on my own, so thanks for showing me the intricacies and little details that make Legends so cool.
Reminder that Eck bascially stated that the UNSC infinity and it support frigates wouldn't be a matched for a Resurgent Class Star Destroyer in one of his most controversial videos lol. I personally think the UNSC Infinity due to its super mac guns could take a Resurgent Class Star Destroyer. Additionally, CAS Assult Carriers plasma lances would probably be very effective against a Resurgent Class Star Destroyer, as the plasma lance appears to out-range turbo lasers.
@J1nx True, we don't know how powerful its main battery is, only that the Resurgent-class has quite potent point-defense systems compared to their predecessors (though this isn't saying much seeing as the Impstar II had NO point-defense weapons at all, and the Impstar I's defenses were nothing to write home about for a ship their size). That said, the thing is that warships in Star Wars have particle shields in addition to their ray shields, which are able to stop even proton torpedoes (which are basically small tactical nukes) in the case of larger ships, necessitating the use of ion weaponry to take a shield down first before going in for a bombing run on a capital ship in most cases. I don't know if the UNSC's MAC guns can deal with those kinds of defenses.
@J1nx I mean it'd be a draw in the sense that I don't think either ship would survive one ramming the other. The outcome of the battle depends on how strong the shields of a Resurgent are, and we haven't really seen anything to give us a solid indication of how strong their shields are (other than it not being able to stop a cruiser-sized vessel moving at relativistic speeds).
Vs matchup Brute or Brute chieftain from Halo vs A Predator from the Predator franchise. With 2 rounds First round unarmed and unarmored. Second round fully armed and armored
Around 1: brute/cheftion/captain. Their muscular and can take multiple shots before dying. One was seen taking MULTIPLE knife stabs in the neck before dying. A Predator was seen to be cut in the chest and died shortly after. Around 2: brute/cheftion/captain They have engery shields. Predators have been shown to have no engery shields. Was using halo video games and Predator movies.
@@squanchpaperboi8943 Round 1: Brute/Chieftain simply cause their raw physical strength is absurd and depending on the brute, they may or may not be able to control themselves Round 2: I'd say the Predator as they have near constant cloaking, mounted turret and have a lot of gear that they come with, there are different ranks as well which provides different and superior gear. And even if the Predator is defeated, they come with that nuclear bracket of awesomeness haha but it'll be a battle without that. Cloaking would be their upper hand with long range attacks with their should cannon
@@XAlted1 That could be the tie breaker, each one is tasked to clear out a small hive of Xenomorphs in the most efficient or fastest way possible, but to make it a little more fair the Predators get 3 and the Brutes get 1 Cheiftan and 5 or 6 high ranking Brutes, not the grunts. Because we all saw how effective 3 Predators are against a normal hive of Xenomorphs.

But instead several SecCorps worked with the Empire and the Rebels developing new technologies. Well... off I go back to rereading the source material! Awesome video!
What about the defense fleet at Byss? the dark empire most important world was practically enveloped by a fleet of massive cutting edge ships and they had the eclipse and some of the craziest super weapons in the galaxy not only that but reaching the planet was practically impossible why is it not on the list?
I also asked for this about a dozen times some months back. I just want to see how two of the more OP factions to appear in Faction VS would fair against each other.
What's controversial about the Chiss having a strong home defense fleet? With the possible exception of the Hapes Consortium, the Chiss are the only group mentioned that represent not just a different faction, but a completely separate *civilization.* Kuat, Corellia, Mon Cala, and (to an extent) Hapes all had chances to compare/steal each others' notes, but the Chiss, despite having to go it completely alone, put together their own complete space navy from the ground up. With other groups having the resources of the rest of the galaxy to draw on, that suggests the Chiss have some _serious_ industrial and R&D capacity on their side. So yeah - this makes *two* videos now where I completely agree with Eck. And it's not even April Fool's Day or Friday the 13th! (Seriously though, much as I might quibble, I really do appreciate this work. Really looking forward to the Battle of the Dreadnaughts tomorrow!)

Force users would have to be someone from the Old Republic era, but otherwise, maybe IG-88 or Jango or Boba Fett, this is a tough question, I would say Thrawn, but he's not really a villain, he just does what he thinks is right and what will help his people the most.
Off topic constructive criticism. When you do your perfect fleet, army ect videos, you ignore _logistics and cost,_ which is one of the biggest factors in military conflicts - wars have been won and lost because of logistics, it's one of the reasons the current U.S. military is so formidable in power projection. And to give a basic historical example, the tank battles of WW2 where the easier to build and more rugged tanks (both Russian amd's American) won against German tanks that were hard to produce and hard to keep in service. Specific examples in your videos, you used the Eclipse as your main ship, that is insanely expensive, how many fleets could you build if that was your standard formation? And for your army you chose the B3 ultra battle droid as your standard droid. It was a prototype, had technical issues, wasn't massed produced and was also extremely expensive, how many could you afford to deploy in total (besides it was so large that a vehicle could fill its role, it's a battle mech, not a trooper). I suggest you do several *"best **_bang for your credit"_* military groups. The fleets, armies, ect you'd design to cover a territory and get the most effective military for a given cost. A good example that most agree on is that the Tie Defender should be the standard fighter, as it's far better than 4 standard Ties or its financial equivalent in any other snub fighter when deployed in equal costing formations. The rules are first a completely canon group, then one with (sane) legends material, and finally one with forces from any era, updated to ABY tech. Also a Imperial only faction, how would you design the Imperial forces to control the galaxy (can include updated Sith designs and old GAR and maybe CIS material)…Vader has been ordered by Palpatine *not* to force choke you and Thrawn has locked Tarkin in a storage closet and is covering for you. *Your mission awaits…grand accountant.*
I still would've included the Byss Defense Fleet myself as it was still technically only a part of the larger (albeit, by Dark Empire, heavily depleted by attrition, defections to warlords, or capture by the New Republic) Imperial Navy. The Galaxy Gun's presence alone would easily make it number one, and even without that you've got one of the largest concentrations of dreadnoughts in any fleet in all of Legends, the raw firepower of those alone being enough to overpower several of the others on the list without even factoring in their support ships or superweapons.
You almost answered my question what type of fighters did the Mon Cal fleet have before the rebellion, understandably if they were supplying fighters to the rebellion alongside there cruisers and frigates then they would also be carrying #-Wing class fighters in the defense fleet. #askeck just curious if there was any official on the fighters they had before/ throwing off the Empire.

Can the UNSC and the Covenant survive and beat the Angel Zeruel from Evangelion on Earth when the Covenant first attacked? Zeruel appears out of nowhere in this and is laying waste to everything and everyone that it sees and gets in it's way while trying to look for Lilith on this version of Earth to start the next Impact
