The newest trend in pastel colors suits your coloring perfectly. Your look is as fresh as a springtime breeze-simply lovely. As for the soft lilac, powder blue, and mint green shades, those were hugely popular eyeshadow shades in the early to mid-sixties. It’s fun for me to see them making a comeback.

I’m patiently waiting for the Cle de Peau single shadows and hopefully see a comparison between the lilac shade and Chanel’s lilac single. Hoping they will be released in the US soon…

The only thing I have been patiently waiting for are the Cle De Peau Solo Eyeshadows. They have been available in Canada for over two months, and in the EU, but I haven't been able to get my hands on them. Sadly, they have taken so long to come here, I have used most of my money on Dior and Chanel eyeshadows. I may only get one. Their loss for taking so long. I do love the putty "primer/shadow" in the quads, which these are supposed to be like.

I got the Dior Lilac blush, it is every bit as lovely as Chanel when buffed into the cheek, then I put a dab of Miracle Balm on my cheek points to hydrate the snakeskin. I can dupe the Chanel Lilac single with Glamanatrix Pastels palette. I would love a video on Favorite Bronzers, or Favorite Cool Bronzers for summer.
Oh and I still have one Prada mini lip balm new and sealed from early 2000s, I wish they would bring those back. I remember the Prada counter at Saks Manhattan surrounded by people 5 deep, you couldn't see anything, try anything, grab and checkout only 😅😂.

I have the Prada lip balms that have different colors. They have a clear one and one that turns pink and then they have three that are in really pretty colors, Guava,maple, and Noisette. I got them and they are nice!

OMG!! I said the same thing when I got married! I didn’t want to be married in April because it would compete with my birthday. Of course we DID end up getting married in April😂😂😂 (Just celebrated our 30th anniversary) It turns out our first child was born in April so it’s truly a celebration month for us too.
I am waiting impatiently for the new Dior liners in lilac and coral. They look so, so pretty!! Hurry up and release these, Dior!
I have a few Dries Van Noten mattes. They feel and wear like the Lisa Eldridge velvets to me. I love the new cases, but I’ve never tried the satin formula. I’ll probably try it with a new case.
I want more release lulls too! I’d rather have fewer nicer, more thought out releases than just more, more, more.

Happy Birthday and Anniversary🎉🎂 Suqqu is coming out with summer collection on May 16. It doesn’t appeal to me other than the creme blushes which look like the Chanel blushes in the pot. Looking forward to seeing your travels!

I have the Dior poppy coral blush coming today, I was hugely disaapointed with ALLLLLLL the lip products as lets face it - they all looked clear on the lips. And I have the Lavender Blonde blush from Haus from last summer and that's way prettier (imo) than the Dior one.
I love that haus labs blush- I have it, too and it is so beautiful ❤!

Like you I’m celebrating it the whole month so I’m excited for your month! You look particularly gorgeous here, your eyes, everything - just so beautiful! 💜
I've already chosen the shades of the Dior eye-liners that I'd like. I prefer the mint, pink, peach, pale blue and mauve. I only use these lighter shades to line under the lower lashes as I don't like a pale liner in my water-line. The entire Dior Collection arrived in Australia together, so everything was available at the same time. I'd like it if this 'lilac trend' was truly lilac and not just an excuse to call it something other than pink. I honestly don't have anything against pink, but this is getting out of hand! I was going through some Addict Lipstick refills today to go with my extra new Cases I picked up. I hope Dior doesn't make it a habit of making one exceptionally more expensive than the others. It's not as if they are exclusive to Dior Stores as they are being sold in Department Stores here. It's been twice in a row now and I'd rather them keep the price down. Our Sephora has had some large price hikes too. I nearly died at the price of Natasha Denona's Palettes now, especially the Green-Brown I'm still hoping to get at the EOFY Sales.🤞🏻Still hoping to find Safari on the second-hand market - you just never know. Luckily, I stocked up on all the palettes I wanted of her's during the last Sephora Sale here after Christmas.
Jen, I'm wondering if anyone else has seen the By Terry Eye Palette in Paris Style No.5. The palette that came out at Christmas was Opulent Star but numbered No.6. I have this new palette now, which has been available here for months, yet I haven't seen anyone else with it. Unfortunately, they didn't emboss all the pans in the palettes with Parisian scenes like they normally do, yet only 5 of the 9 pans - in the exact same palette as No.4, were stamped with only the By Terry logo, the others left blank. I can always send a picture if you'd like, as it's still available. I'm totally in love with Prada, but I don't need anymore eye palettes from them anytime soon, as much as I adore them! I still am trying to get around to using what I've got that are new. Prada's lipsticks tend to have a number with quite natural tones and I don't necessarily want a balm to set to a matte finish. I've been loving the lilac Rabanne Balm, although it's creamy like a lipstick - yet sheer and opaque. I'll never touch Dior's Coloured Lip Balms again as they had no colour, even on my very pale lips, but I never felt a balm feel as creamy as this Rabanne one is. The Givenchy Palette is gorgeous and looked so beautiful and natural on, very happy with it, just like all of their others. I bought the new Mascara too which is equal best to my Chanel and that's high praise indeed! I bought their Liquid Highlighter at Christmas which are L/E yet still available here in Icy Pink and Bronze. Unlike the Dior, it doesn't show up pink on the cheeks, yet leaves a lovely subtle shine. There's no obvious pink like Dior's and the Bronze is very different. Despite lying in bed today due to pain, I still managed to put on the Mineralscape Palette. I have so many palettes that are yet to be touched that it's embarrassing. I'll be looking forward to Isamaya's new palette, yet apart from that, I'm not in any hurry for anything else. If there's any news of when Isamaya is releasing her next Collection, please let us know Jen. I'm not on Instagram but am signed up to Isamaya's newsletter. Unfortunately, she is another that doesn't deliver to Australia and New Zealand and I have to purchase through Selfridges. They have been a welcoming website into my life and despite spending much on brands that don't deliver here, at least they give me access to purchase now. The temptation of the Prada and Rabanne releases pushed me over the edge. They deliver so amazingly fast that it puts others in Australia to shame.
Jen, your 'hydrangea blue' hair scarf suited you beautifully. With Winter coming up fast here, I don't have to worry about most make-up releases for awhile. I did cave and buy a new shade of a Givenchy Lipstick in a lovely burnt orange, yet apart from that setback, I'm being quite restrained. The good thing about having your birthday and anniversary in the same month means the more hints you can drop! I’m on a low buy mode and a pause is very welcome to me. I already have my favourite foundation, concealer, mascara, eyeliners, face powders and I have enough eyeshadows, blushes and lip balms/lipsticks. Also I am pleased with my makeup brushes and I just need a few more Rae Morris face brushes. I have a lot of Sonia G brushes and I am interested to buy more only if the next holiday limited edition will be squirrel brushes.
If Hermes will come with new eyeshadows, eyeliners or other makeup products I will definitely buy them.
I like Chantecaille but I don’t like any new releases. So I’m waiting to see what’s coming next and if is worth it for me.

Im interested in the Wayne Goss brushes, complexion only though, not the eye brushes for me. I think the YSL butter balms are just balms, not that exciting although they almost got me on the pretty pink packaging lol.

I ordered the purple and pink Cle de Peau single shadows. I’m trying them today. I believe the YSL palette you’re referring to is a repromote of the holiday palette they had ? I’m happy there is nothing on the horizon for a while I need to enjoy everything I just got lol. I am excited for the Suqqu summer palette the cool one and the cheek pots. I want to get an Armani liquid blush but I can’t keep buying more blushes when I just bought a ton of them earlier lol. Like you my favorite collections are the holidays so I’d like to take a break between now and then
