I’m not sure if it’d be valid for all of US but at least for New Jersey, there is an apple abundance. There are many kinds of apples in supermarkets, the orchards have lovely apples (that people also associate with family time perhaps, because you can go out and pick them from the trees) also apple cider is a thing. Didn’t realize how apple-y it would smell along with all the apple scented products until you remarked on it though, interesting.
the way you described some of these fragrances (easy to wear, fresh, airy, can just spray everywhere without fear of it being cloying or too heavy) reminds me so much of one of my favourite scents. it's "agua de bambú" by Adolfo Domínguez. idk how easy it is to get internationally (I'm from Spain and it's a brand from here), but if you can get your hands on one, i recommend it. it's inexpensive and i think a lot of people overlook or dismiss it because of that, but to me it's a very good, reliable fragrance. it's simple, but that's the beauty of it to me. it smells clean without being too soapy, aquatic without being like air freshener, slightly floral without being overpowering. it's a linear fragrance that is light, airy, delicate, and very pretty and it just stays that way. it has a deceptively good lasting power and projection (within reason for the type of fragrance). I've worn this for years and have gotten nothing but compliments from it, especially in the warmer months.
Thanks for sharing, this sounds lovely! I was looking this up on fragrantica and it looks like there's two versions of agua de bambu for: one for men and one for women. There's a slightly curved bottle for women and the men's fragrance is a regular cylinder. Which one is the one you've been wearing? I'd love to try it 🤍
I love the matcha from le monde gourmand and I agree it doesnt smell like green tea per se but more so just clean and bright. So good! I wanna check out the dragon fruit one
For my summer line up, I’m planning to wear Phlur Mood Ring, Skylar Coconut Lime, Acqua di Gioia, Ocean di Gioia, Alien Goddess. Pear Inc, Idole Aura, Kilian Moonlight in Heaven, Xerjoff Cruz Del Sur, Phloria, also got a set of 5ml Phlur Tangerine Boy and Solar Power. I also bought Santal 33 and I’m not sure what to do with it, so I might wear it too. Let’s not forget the Libre line which I love.
I’ve had the same experience with D&G light blue intense! Lot’s of compliments esp from men. I often layer Bvlgari Omnia Coral (pomegranate notes) over it and then I get compliments, especially from women. Scents are so interesting 🥰 🍏
Thank you for the summer fragrances! I'm really not a tropical scent lover, and I have a really hard time finding summer fragrances I like. I love that you have a variety of suggestions, including affordable options.
I got a sample of Myth and wouldn’t have tried it based on the notes alone. I thought it smelled fluffy and laundry/shower like. I’m def going to purchase when the Sephora sale comes up
called out by the “person who compliments desserts by saying they’re not too sweet” statement - i was looking for a peach-adjacent summer scent and the skylar peach fields sample betrayed me. just ordered a sample of valaya instead. Thank you for this!
I also live a scent that changes throughout its life and on papear I would never had tried it. It is called Purpose from Amouage (Quentin Bisch). It takes you on a spiral dance of opositores that balance in perfect harmony. Cold and hot, dry and green airy but grounded. Love it. Strange note break down
Ooo this was really interesting! I’m really enjoying Bake by Akro, Lira by Xerjoff, and virgin island water by creed. I’m searching for a coconut scent that I can wear this summer but I’m yet to find one. Struggling!
Although I don't really like apple notes in perfumes I do like them in shampoos and bubble baths because I associate them with cleanliness. Maybe it's a cultural thing. I have observed that in Northern Europe and the US people tend to prefer the clean, aquatic scents whereas in southern Europe where I come from we tend to prefer more amber, gourmand scents.
My summer standbys are chance eau fraiche edt wulong cha Zara vetiver pamplemouse I am really in the mood for tea, light citrus, and airy florals right now so I’ve been testing a lot. The prices are shocking though. Pink me up is good but I can only get a decant because $$.
Can you please do another video with solar fragrances? I have found out recently that I'm in love with tuberose, based on what I have in my collection. I'm really interested in the new Joe Malone frangipani scent, have you sniffed that yet ? So far I've been wearing later sense as it's already been in the high '80s here in North Carolina. I got the BBW tropidelic spray which is a dupe for the St. Bart's perfume and that's super nice!
I recently bought The Maker's discovery set and my boyfriend claimed Libertine as his signature scent as well! It's SO good, such a unique citrus with the star fruit really coming through. I love it on him so much. If you're looking for video ideas, I'd be interested in perfumes/colognes you enjoy on your boyfriend so I could pass on the recommendation
just placed an order for a perfume from 27 87 Perfumes in the scent Flâneur that I've been wanting for a couple years and it is gonna get some good use this summer. It seems like people either love it or hate it and I can imagine that it might be headache inducing for some. It's got linden blosson & bergamot, absinthe & orris root & almond, cashmere wood & vetiver & ambergris.
Love these recs! But, I don't get what everyone is talking about when they rave about Burberry Goddess. I tested it at least 3 times and its SO light, I can barely smell anything. Is it just me? XD
Beach walk from Replica is my favorite perfume. I get terrible headaches and it’s the only one that doesn’t give me one. HOWEVER, it does not project at all and it doesn’t last more than like 30 minutes. I recently tried lust for sun and the strength is exactly what I’m looking for but it’s a little too almost spicy for me. I wish I could find something right in between. (I’ve tried coconut sun by 7 virtues and didn’t like it at all.)
Im a new subscriber! Hi! My name is Jamie.... I notice tou do not have any Arabian fragrances on your channel. Id love to see you talk about some middle eastern fragrances as well! They are very popular at the moment and there are some fabulous scents! ❤😊 I do love me some designer fragrances as well of course lol
I love soooooo many Burberry scents, both the designer and private line, but something about goddess just goes so, so sour on me. Dying to try Killian Bamboo Harmony, though…
I just can’t stand any fresh/clean fragrances. The closest fresh/clean fragrance I owned was Mojave ghost and I just sold her on mecari lol. My summer pick is V canto Stricnina baby!
Idk if you talked about it on TikTok but did you see Clean Reserve's 'H2Eau' perfume collection? I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on the formulation of it ie. It is sticky, leaving stains and bubbling as it comes out of the sprayer. With your education, I was wondering if you had any thoughts. The collection looked very fresh and fun for summer but it being water-based kinda freaks me out. Loved this video as always Xx
my lineup so far: pear inc (JHAG), safe haven (dupe of narco oasis by genre perfumes), tardes (carner Barcelona), Bianco latte (depends on temp lol), and still building...
Safe Haven is a fantastic dupe of Narco Oasis but I still had to get the original as is it is EVEN BETTER❤❤It’s incredible eyes roll back in my head type of fragrance 🥰🤤
What do you think of paper samples? I got one of burberry goddess from ulta and i kinda liked it but i felt thrown off like it was too "perfumey" or maybe it was the paper. Maybe it smelled papery or like a magazine, like i was halfway smelling that thin shiny inked up magazine paper mixed in with the perfume, and it wasnt accurate to the smell of the perfume on the skin. Do you think those paper samples are accurate?
@@sweetpeace5 Those are my scent associations, as well as what many customers said back when I worked in retail. Would love to hear what you make of it❤️
Emma! Do you have any spring/summer frag advice/recommendations for someone who only really got into perfumes last winter & is now in the peak of their sweet/boozy/woody gourmant obsession? Asking for a friend 😳 My less winter-y scents just aren’t really doing it for me rn but I also don’t want to stink up a room with an heavy or overbearing winter scent on a hot summer day yaknow
MFK Aqua Media is Not long-lasting at all. I bought one bottle late last year. Smells amazing but last on me for 3 to 4 hours. So disappointed. I think this is worse MFK fragnance in Jabourty of long lasting.

genuinely get so excited when you upload ❤️❤️
I really appreciate your unique views on scent. I've picked up a few of your recommendations over on Tik Tok. I'm enjoying your longer format.

@sorackee I use the women's one! the bottle is light blue aqua, tall and slightly curved. if you get it, I hope you enjoy it 😊
I love MYTH!!! It’s so underrated!
It’s awesome just doesn’t last
@@sweetpeace5 I layer it with the body oil and it helps the projection and longevity.
Ugh a new perfumerism video is just what I needed rn 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰
I live in a hot dry climate and am excited to bust out the following this summer: Light Blue, Pear Inc, Wulong Cha, and Valaya.

Carnal Flower ❤️❤️❤️ the MOST rich woman alive... on vacation. Dirty and gorgeous!

Can you pls do a video of good, basic perfumes for when youre on a budget? Pretty pleasse:)
Francis Kurdjian was also the nose behind EA Green Tea, so the similarity makes sense!
Exactly
I got a sample of Myth and wouldn’t have tried it based on the notes alone. I thought it smelled fluffy and laundry/shower like. I’m def going to purchase when the Sephora sale comes up
Love your videos, new to your page, question: does your mum just walk into your room and ask you to perfume her up every morning? Lol x
Haha no she does not! We do share though; she likes Jo Malone London Red Roses and Mirto di Panarea from Aqua di Parma
@@perfumerism lol, I would definitely be in every day!
Lush, Henry Rose, Nette and the Maker Discovery sets would be interesting.
would love to see henry rose discovery set, Jake's House is one of my year round signatures
