For anyone interested in their chain adjustment (and safety) if you have one of these, it is NOT a "frighteningly tight" 7mm of movement like mentioned in the video but it's actually just meant to miss the underside of the swingarm by 7mm when you push the chain up tight underneath so there is actually quite a lot of slack on these. Easy enough mistake if you just glance through the maintenance manual but you probably won't have an easy time if your chain snaps n wraps at 135mph lol Peace out ✌🏼🙂🤘🏻
I have one too, great bike. However I don't have a fuel light, or it has never worked... where is it supposed to be? Also, is that bellypan from the KTM powerparts store? I found out about the clutch slave cylinder issue on a 2 week camping trip on Sardegna. Riding through the abandoned mines of montevecchio.
How tall is sixth gear on that beauty? I had an '08 Superduke and my biggest gripe was sixth could have been much taller and I couldn't find aftermarket sprockets for it. It felt like it was geared for the tighter Austrian mountain roads and I wished it had some longer legs for the more wide-open American trips.
Mine goes 80 miles and iam walking.. Got the 7.9 gallon tank..jettied and exhaust and the lighting does suck..got lighted handguards for it..awesome machine.. I have the 07 SM-R ...nothing like it out there..it stops traffic at a green light😂😂😂...
i had one of these and i did like it a lot. however it is a very big bike, has tonnes of low down torque but non at high end. did have lots of problems with oil leaks but that is due to lack of maintenance. Is a good bike however not a very stable one if you want to go fast
Your wish has been granted in the form of the 890 SMT. Also Ducati is releasing a single cylinder bike! New hypermotard. Hopefully Honda and Yamaha will put their parallel twins in a Supermoto type bike, then all of us 'tards will be in heaven 🤩

Hello, can the front mud guards be changed to look more like a dirtbike ?
My dream is that KTM brings the concept back. I hear rumors about a 890smc
