At 17:46:00, that Plymouth: It begs to be turned into a Gasser. I love the 47 through 50 built Plymouth Gassers, just something about those that makes me say, oh yeeeaahh. "Ya gotta Hemi in that thang!!??" I love that weird quirky Pullman crane truck. And it's Mopar 6 powered? In line or a 225 Slant? Amazing that 6 cans run that beast. And it still runs and is ready for work. Awesome machine. As a kid, I remember a Slant 6 powered log splitter and a Slant that ran a generator for industrial arc welding. They were beasts too.
The sad thing that actually happens is some guy spends his whole life hoarding all these goodies and never can part with anything then either ends up in a nursing home or passes away and never gets to reap the benefits of what he’s saved .. Luckily sometimes other family members benefit but sometimes others don’t have a clue what they have and believe it or not it’s of to the scrap yard and the scrapper pays by the ton knowing he’s retiring soon because he just got over on some old widow or other unsuspecting honest family members… I pray for people to have integrity on these matters for all it’s worth..!!!! Being good to one another is what matters most always!!!
You've got that right..just last year.i saddly watched one old yard get cleaned out of everything..use to go there all the time for cheap parts..east of Toronto..Arts Auto..Art ran the place or bought the place in 59..he retired..sad to see the place go😔
I can't believe how many early a/c vehicles are @ this auction!! Nice variety of collectibles and DRIVERS!!! Thanks 😊 very much for taking the time to share this with us!!!
Excellent narration on this treasure trove of goodies it’s amazing how different your newer posts have advanced from your older posts you had my full attention the entire video very cool and I thank you for sharing this with us all.. I look forward to seeing your next one …
Thanks for watching! That is something I like the most about doing this, preserving a snapshot of all of it together before it is dispersed. I want these videos to be something of a tangible album that helps preserve the memory of each collection!
The orange truck is a 56. 55's have the fender emblems below the body line, 56's are above . The hood emblem is different also, although that one is missing. I just bought a 55 1300 Canadian shortbox that was sitting on a farm 30+ years. I've been doing some learning about the differences.
Factory V8 too according to the badges. My uncle had a 58 Cameo factory V8 back in the 70's. Only 370 total produced in 58. El Camino replaced it in 59.
Good Evening Lots of Neat Trucks the 67 Chevy pickup doesn't have the side marker light like the White one with olds motor 67 Thanks for a Great Video I got 80 K 20 what a Body Take Care
HA! When I got into motorcycles in the 1960's, my father, a huge fan of Sears, wanted me to buy a Sears bike like the one you show. Nope, was not having that junk. Bought a Yamaha.
Wanted to see the late model(1965-67) CORVAIR 500 sedan. Unfortunately you were hijacked before getting to it! Otherwise great video as always. Always look forward to you and Silas! Bill
Morning Tim, Duraliner is based here in Michigan, back in the 1980's I worked for a machine builder, we built the machines that loaded flat piece's of plastic in to the vacuum machine to form the bed liners....that Pittman Crane truck was pretty neat, it would be great to get that up & running & use it....the hydraulics don't really wear out except the cylinder packing gets messed up from non-use
UA-cam turned off notifications and unsubscribed me or my phone got hacked. Either way, i am very happy to watch your videos! And i hope those farm cats found a new home!
The Marlin was really a competitor to the dodge Charger, not the Mustang or Barracuda, a much bigger car. Love that Toronado, it's so base with the bench seat and plain door panels, not the fancy model.
We look forward to watching your auction videos. How do you find out about this type of auction? We are too far from Kansas to take advantage of those. We are in south central TN.
Olds made the 455 big block. Used in a version of the Toronado. 50's drag racers would put 455's in little T buckets and Willy's gassers. Slicks of the day were stiff side wall so the cars would go sideways down track because of no grip to asphalt. AL B.
The Iron Duke and the Tech four were never the same, 153 Iron Duke didn't have seven different heads to compensate for improper cylinder tightening capability (Crappy Engineering)
I caught a glimpse of a old working oil well in the middle of the rows , i thought that was pretty cool . Are there still a lot of those in kansas being used ?
Unfortunately the government is to blame with part of good restoration vehicles. I know a guy who had 200 acres of these vehicles in buildings and they were in great condition for what they were and the payment he got for crushing and scraping the spare parts were heart breaking.
Thank god people hold on to that stuff . Dumb asses put people down for it. Most of that stuff look restoreabel if your as good as me. And every day more and more parts are reproduce. And he had a lot of the parts right there. Good show thanks for posting.
The first truck wasn't a 46 Chevy. I looks more like a Dodge or International, I'd have to do a little research to figure out exactly what it is. Gaspump is a Wayne, the Fry is a 6 sided pump.
It is so simple, all buy 1 of these heritage cars and restore it. If all yall real usa car lovers would do this, a new heavenly car lot is revived. Sooo simple
Thanks for stopping by the channel Claude! This sale was so large, it was necessary to split the video into two parts. Part Two will show the bidding and sale totals! It drops July 18, 2022!
That '57 Chevy,,the interior would look nice in light gray with black and the rims ,,that Tornado looks solid I had to cut short the vid,,narrator voice almost put me to sleep,,Dude you speak a little faster it's not gonna make you perspire lol
Why you think the cars worth a lot of money you got fix it up you pay 10.000 dollars a crap car when you get the way you want it Insurance is the same so you watch where you go in it crashes it coast just a much when it’s where pieces are f crap look at the ground when you buy it 👀

Nicely set up auction. Love all the pallets with engines on them. Just forklift up and on your truck or trailer.

Very correct reflection. I think the same 👍

Reflectors. The holes were filled in where the bulbs go.
Excellent.

Boom truck is cool looking!
Thanks for the tour. Where was the auction?

Stop signs were changed from yellow to red in 1954.

wow,you live in a great place for auction for sure.here in michigan, there is nothing left of the cars,so we get no auctions.
A lot of cool stuff.
Cool one! 😎👍😎
Very interesting viewing good to see rather than shinny chrome
HA! When I got into motorcycles in the 1960's, my father, a huge fan of Sears, wanted me to buy a Sears bike like the one you show. Nope, was not having that junk. Bought a Yamaha.
The Honda 750 Four is a real Gem and I hope it got full market value at auction. They are very popular but parts are impossible to track down today.
Wanted to see the late model(1965-67) CORVAIR 500 sedan. Unfortunately you were hijacked before getting to it! Otherwise great video as always. Always look forward to you and Silas! Bill
Would be interesting if you could show some of the odometer readings when available 🤔.
very cool
The black 57 Chevy Bel Air is very cool

And the rubber rots off the hoses plus exposed chromed cylinder rods pit and rust.AL B.
I had a 65 AMC rambler Marlin with the 327 three speed twin stick they like to rust out on the firewall
I had a convertible about ten years ago, I remember the firewall being pretty crunchy
Mr.goodpliers. seen you in Wichita sat didn't want to bother you.i said I watch your videos.i really enjoy your channel keep it up 👍👍😀
Hydro truck is a 56. 57 4 dr hardtop minus front group is factory air car.

Agreed
We look forward to watching your auction videos.
How do you find out about this type of auction?
We are too far from Kansas to take advantage of those.
We are in south central TN.
Location would be nice
Rural Paola Kansas
All the good stuff seems to be in Kansas.
Excellent Collection lots of projects
I'd love to have the 750 honda
Loved the Oldsmobile Toronado...
the 1967 didnt have side marker lights gmc and chevy pickups. marker lights came out in 68

Back in the day the pastel color were what was coming off the assembly line.

Unfortunately the government is to blame with part of good restoration vehicles. I know a guy who had 200 acres of these vehicles in buildings and they were in great condition for what they were and the payment he got for crushing and scraping the spare parts were heart breaking.

If it wasnt for them, these.vehicles would have been gone long ago.
The first truck wasn't a 46 Chevy. I looks more like a Dodge or International, I'd have to do a little research to figure out exactly what it is. Gaspump is a Wayne, the Fry is a 6 sided pump.
No free rides out of this parking lot.
If I live to be a thousand (perish the thought) I will never understand why auctioneers gabble the way they do.
2:00 how much?
How much for the two door chevy malibu
Rost’s chevy’s bel air!! ❤️👌
How money? Transporting hungary? 😉😊😃🥰
I believe that Chevy truck that you keep calling a 56 is actually a 56

It is so simple, all buy 1 of these heritage cars and restore it. If all yall real usa car lovers would do this, a new heavenly car lot is revived. Sooo simple
