Check out my new affordable animation online workshop! You can use Blender and I put a ton of work into it :) courses.sirwade.com/animation-basics-fundamentals
Hi! I call it affordable because of the value. It’s almost 15 hours of lecture content, 20 hours of animation demos, and 5 hours of example shot reviews- and I don’t think you’ll find any animation basics class that teaches even close to that level of material, especially without it costing at least 3x or 4x the price of my class :) It’s affordable more in the relative sense
@@SirWade Sir, you're absolutely right, don't let people tell you otherwise. Your courses are reasonably priced with nothing comparable in the market, and you deserve every bit of it... As a 17-year-old aspiring animator, I can't wait to take some of your courses. Keep up the great work.
From a maya animator who just joined a company that uses blender- Thank you so much, Wade!! This helped me so much! Please make more videos like this, I couldn't tell you how grateful I am for your channel! Much love from Sweden x
I have used a lot of 3D software but Blender is just something special. I can't really describe it but somehow it just makes me feel happy that it exists. Don't get me wrong there are many things I would change if I knew how and the program has a lot of shortcomings but despite everything it just puts a smile on my face when I open it.
Great, great, great content here. This quick video is really handy for all Blender users. I figured out some of them by myself because I really needed to find a way to solve them. Thanks for sharing : )
Iam using blender in industrial standard hotkeys settings ..it not bad .it has some drawback like extrud , working on nodes but now I can use same muscle memory in both software it super amazing
This video came out at the perfect time for me, I was planning on tackling Blender today after using Maya for 3 years. I'm most excited about the hotkeys, but I'm still confused using the UI and especially the outliner. I'd like to see a video covering importing/referencing a rig, adding PBR textures and finding and using the rig controls. One thing I found confusing about Blender was the fact that you need to select the object in Object Mode then go into Pose Mode to animate it. It'd be nice to see what the Blender equivalents of the animBot functions are.
Instead of constantly pressing Shift H on the graph editor, you can go to to the top corner of the screen ; Edit, Preferences, Animation, F-curves and toggle Only show selected F-curves keyframes
looks great, i have one question- how to zero out values for selected controllers i assume its zerroing only one controller at a time i need to know how to do it for multiple ctrls, please reply if you know this thank you.
Love your videos! What I would like to see in a future video is to find optimal ways to reduce memory size for animating. I'm not sure if my characters or sets have too many textures or are too high poly but I cant seem to have more than one character in my Blender file without it exceeding 3GB. Thank you for all that you do!
In blender studio animators make the character rig in the first blender file and then open another blender file with these characters (linked), which is efficient pipeline for collaborations. Or turn on Simplify to reduse the resolution of the textures. Might work, probably
This video was really helpfool to knew new things. I am also starting animation in blender for an inernship project. And coming from maya I am just starting to feel confident about my work in maya and I don't wanna lose it while working in blender. So at core in wanna know how to set up an animation scene in blender as we do in blender while getting the all the plush points of blender.
7:00 OMG! Alt-B Just saved us all Years off Rendering Time. Could you please make us a Video, How Deep this " Alt-B " Rabbit hole can go and proof of concept.

$500 isn't really what I would call affordable.

you can also go beyond 100% and below 0% in the breakdowner by pressing shift + E then E again
So great to see animation Blender love!!! Also nice Corridor Digital Easter egg/ teaser!

the place you did the capture with the staff, was it the Corridor Crew's studio? it looks oddly familiar
I absolutely want more of these videos. The number of tools available for free (instead of with pluggins like animbot) is astounding. Great video!

NO WAY BRO HOW DID I NOT REALIZE!!!

I really want to learn more about constraints
Same here!
Would you do a video on animating in Unreal?
I’m working on a whole series :)
@@SirWade Thank you.
Is it possible to download a lesson so that it can be viewed later.
Taking up Tips , for animation
Hey great video. It was very helpful! I am an 3D motion designer so anything regarding animation or better workflows will help. Thanks!!!
What keyboard are you using?
Could you possibly do a tips on importing rigs and exporting in blender? I really need to use a free tool 😅

awesome
where the bcon LA video?
Which one is better for animating blender or maya
Both are good! And Unreal is also really really cool. I teach that too! courses.sirwade.com/unrealanimation
Hello, can I see a few videos preview for your course please. So I can get an idea what it's gonna look like. Thanks
I just added a lesson preview to the course landing page as a "Sneak Peek" section, because of this comment :)
Thank you so much!@@SirWade

What time zone is this for? 😭
IDK😭
I love Maya but I’d love to switch to blender because it’s more lightweight and don’t take 5 minutes to boot
