I’m not in the landscape industry. I sold my Auto mechanical repair business last year after a relationship break up and personal meltdown. In this hustle culture I’m so glad someone is starting to talk about the personal cost of creating a “successful” business. That’s a responsible leader right there. 👍
Thanks for posting this! Lots didn't apply as a part time owner/operator, but lots DID. I really liked your section on close ratio and estimates. Because of that I rewrote my email estimate template to be much less passive and set up multiple email reminders for multiple days after the estimate is sent, which I never did before.
Mike it is so awesome to see people praying at this conference. I was already a fan of your stuff, but seeing that you’re a believer it makes me like your content even more! God is good!
Man Mike, I appreciate you sharing this. Appreciate your passion as you live out your personal mission. You have inspired me for many years and continue to do so.
Honestly this video will most definitely greatly influence and inspire my business in 2023. Just saw the whole thing and I needed Mike to yell at me, inspire me, and motivate me for an hour so now it’s time to get to work 💪
After listening to this video I realize I’ve hit the limit of my person capacity. Im going to work on efficiency and honestly making more time for fun activities. I’ve neglected so many friends family members etc. 8years of pain I think I can smell the roses a little bit!
Thanks for sharing Mike! This was an eye opener as a solo operator. You are 100% correct on everything you said. 2023 will be interesting for sure thanks for the advice.
Man Godsend.. havent implemented any of it yet.. okay i have implemented the need and want for my community to use my services.. will do and wokring tomorrow.. ya ya..
Jonathan inspired me to get in the industry. Mike inspired me to get a general manager and turn my business into more of an investment than a job. Both very important, valuable voices in the community.
Mike brings up points that really NEED to be mentioned but NEVER brought up when it counts. (Points I hate to admit are things that apply DIRECTLY to my life) He took a necessary approach to change my perspective in a positive way going forward into 2023, both in professional and business levels. I believe it might help you too. Very fast paced video but vitally important stuff! Your goal is to inspire people Mike, keep up the positive work and we'll be sure to keep moving in the right direction, with your tutorials and videos sheathed in our toolbelt to survive in the ill economy. -Hunter Radtke Owner of Manitowoc Pro Lawn Care LLC
Thanks Mike! I heard you speak at an event in Detroit back in November 2022. I could of heard this gold back then if they had given you more time. I appreciate everything you do to help us grow our companies.
@MikeAndes do you have any videos for handling customer objections, reengagement with customers, or other tips (other than doing good work) to retain customers?
Man, one of the hardest part is trying to get reviews or just dealing with customers I also find it hard to work on myself, don't know how to change that but thanks mike ! you and kelfas have helped me a lot and id be doing a lot worse if it weren't for you 2.
I love working out 🏋️♂️ but I'm a life long athlete and salad is at the top of my list close to sushi 🍣! I'm confused about Augusta's defense and reoccurring business when the corporate locations don't run contracts for your lawn care.
Mike I love you I think your great love the passion! Intro was a little to much Just saying keep the ego boost stuff to a minimum. Jus saying as kindly as possibly.
@MikeAndes can you just take that ending and make it a seprate video? I can convince my wife to watch that short bit but she wouldn't watch the whole thing.
Wow! 60 years old, completely burned out and business is barely scrapping by. Tears running down my face. Thank you for this and all you do!!
Keep up the grind brother.. you will get past the rough times

Very motivating speech! Much needed information for us small business owners heading into a recession.
You can tell you grew up a PK. Taking everyone to business church, laying it out like a well planned sermon. Great content as always Mike!
I'll be attending the next one for sure. Thank you for sharing this clip from the conference

I love working out 🏋️♂️ but I'm a life long athlete and salad is at the top of my list close to sushi 🍣!
I'm confused about Augusta's defense and reoccurring business when the corporate locations don't run contracts for your lawn care.
I have several videos about contracts for recurring services like mowing 👍🏻✅
Is Jonathan still in the industry?
no unfortunately not. I just went back to his page the other day hoping to see a video and nothing for the past couple of years since he sold SAP.
Lets gooo
Mike I love you I think your great love the passion!
Intro was a little to much
Just saying keep the ego boost stuff to a minimum. Jus saying as kindly as possibly.
I don’t control the intro 😂 That’s on Liz 😅
@@MikeAndes in that case ask her to have some water for you to walk out on next time :)
Semi world renowned 😂
I told them they couldn’t say “world renowned” so that’s what I get 🤣🤣
😂I still got it in there😅
@MikeAndes can you just take that ending and make it a seprate video? I can convince my wife to watch that short bit but she wouldn't watch the whole thing.
