I really don’t care what the old dumb attitude era fans they were the problem I liked baby face John cena old attitude era fans forced cena to lose a lot.
Roman’s failed push all stems from, in my opinion, the break up of the shield. Shield breaks up. Rollins, new attire, new music. Ambrose, new attire, new music. They basically became new characters who also feuded with each other. Roman still came out to the old shield music, wore the shield gear, and ignored the break up.
I've always thought this. They could of at least changed the gear it looked odd him in the vest and everything without Seth and Dean there. But hey then came the tribal chief one of the best characters of all time
Roman perfectly fits in this category, But it was bittersweet cause if he didn't had that push back in 2014-2020, We probably wouldn't get the Tribal cheif gimmick years later.
Roman’s initial push was the main reason why I tuned out of WWE for the rest of the 2010s because it was intensely frustrating how the company were relying on him too much at the expense of hurting the momentum of other wrestlers like Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Samoa Joe and so many others. Although he has massively improved, but the fact that people instantly put him in the GOAT conversation within like 3-4 years after his heel turn it’s just insane to me. That scream recency bias.
How wouldnt we?the tribal chief gimmick is about Roman being the leader of his family..after shield break up . They easily couldve went that direction if they wanted..but I'm not complaining I FW big dog 2015,he looked badass and I was super casual back then not going to iwc online
Yeah, he should consider himself lucky to be born into a famous wrestling family and gotten opportunities handed to him. All while wrestlers like Rick Rude or Mr. Perfect never held a world title
Its still a shitty gimmick...they kept trying to push him regardless of how fans felt...the tribal chief gimmick wad successful because of the people around him and not because he became brilliant over night. Rollins and Ambrose are still better acts because they're able to carry that main eventer roles on their own.
I LOVED John Cena around when he was literally the face of the company, but I was a kid in that time. But I can definitely see why the older fans despise him, seeing the same old thing for 10+ years can get very annoying

Honestly. On the Royal Rumble 2015 video, so many comments say "Why is everyone booing Roman?" "How could they boo the Tribal Chief?". It's honestly insane how much of a 180 Roman's Career had.
Another factor for Jinder was also the fact that it was an obvious cash grab to tap into a foreign market. Like if WWE had not announced it's expansion into the Indian market within weeks of Jinder's rise. It could've been slightly more bearable
The other problem which has been talked about by other people is that they didn't do the obivous story of a jobber who fluked his way to becoming champion. Just painting over his history and instead going with either that he was a main eventer the whole time and fans were too stupid to see it, or just going do typical 80s route of the foreigner who became champion and the fans booing him because "he'snot from around here" (which is both racist and synical as all hell). Go and watch the video from Partsfunknown where someone fantasy booked him as a champion and it actually worked better.
@@DamariJackson24 Thank you for saying that. Quick question for you. If your to fantasy book anything throughout wrestling history that didn't go well, what would it be? There is no denying that Roman Reigns has come along way, but my God, his disastrous babyface push from 2015 to 2018 marked a dark period not just in his career, but for the entire WWE programming. It was so damaging to the product that various wrestlers were always being pushed aside, sacrificed or had their career sabotaged by Vince McMahon, due to his massive erection towards his precious golden boy. I consider it a miracle that Roman managed to recover from all those years of bad booking because those were very very dark times.

Charlotte is a great wrestler. But she's a female Roman Reigns. Given opportunities handed to her due to her famous father. It's clear that WWE wanted her to have as many titles as her father. And it doesn't matter how many times Charlotte comes back to WWE. She still manages to get a title handed her
Rumours says that she will return next year and face tiffy for the wwe women's champion after tiffy cash in on nia. hopefully Charlotte will put over tiffy instead of burying her.....
This Dominic Mysterio's push to be a Judgement Day's(the world's worst ever tag team) tag team wrestler was the most hated I have ever seen in my life and with those ladies who are like a man, this is one of the reasons why I stopped watching the show, good friends!!!
Everything on Dom is interesting but the problem I have knowing the outside I could never believe is there a romance story line between him and Ripley because I knew that Ripley was with Buddy Matthews and that he was with his long time girlfriend and they never brought either one on to complain about losing their partner I understand they couldn't do that with Buddy Matthews but they could have tried to do it with the long time girlfriend who is now his wife. I can't believe the liv Morgan thing either because I know he like his father is very devoted to his wife. But I will say that woman has to have a huge degree of trust just like Vicky had to have with all of Eddie's romance story lines
I think with Reigns they should have had a race between the 3 members of the shield. Seth was positioned properly but they couldn't figure out how to keep Roman and Ambrose around without looking second fiddle or forgotten
When they brought Backlund back in the mid 90’s to feud with Bret, even at 10 years old I was like wtffffffff? This guy was the champ? In a ring full of athletes and monsters he looked terrible.
Young rock wasnt the only time he was hated as a baby face. There was a time when the Rock was winning too much in the early 2000’s where fans would boo him and scream “rocky sucks” even tho he was a babyface. He ended up forcefully turning heel because of it
fans are just picky.......if I like a wrestler I do not care if he is heel or face..I enjoy their matches. that is all that matters to me......I remember the whole "Die Rocky Die" issue and I thought it was stupid by a bunch of immature fans who were acting like a bunch of big babies.
I never hated Reigns. Ever. Yes, Vicne pushed him too hard but he is a great guy and his tribal chief character should have been the one to end the streak. Reigns even fsced everyone he once faced in the previous decade. Basically ghosts of his past in the forms of John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar. Even they saw a difference. He came back bitter, colder, savage and confident.
Nothing against Jinder Mahal but let’s keep a stack, the guy never had any business being real champion, let alone sniffing the main event. I get that the company were trying to appeal to the Indian marketing, but the whole experiment was a failure from the get-go because they just immediately put the championship on him without a proper build-up which made it hard for people to take him seriously. You have some wrestlers in the business who are meant to be megastars and then you have Jinder Mahal, a glorified jobber who literally cannot put on a good match to save his life. The fact that he won the WWE championship over so amazing wrestlers of the past whom were way more deserving to be world champions is just absolutely disgusting to me.
With a decent build up anyone maybe can be a top guy..the issue with Jinder is he went from jobber to closing PPVs in literally less than a month..I don't know why wwe did this..a midcard title win ,a few wins here and there and then mybe 2018/19 he becomes world champion coulve made sense
They could have pushed him to the midcared title and then to the main title it could work but they pushed him too fast and they didn't tell a good story
Brock shouldn’t count. Him being a part-timer was the whole point of this character by that time. Vince never tried getting him over with the crowd as a babyface. He was the big monster heel that only worked when they paid him or he felt like it.
The thing with dom is. Will he still be such a good heel once hes separated from liv? It seems like alot of his heat now is because of his betrayal of rhea and rub from liv. I mean unless theyre just gonna have him be the sleazeball that goes from woman to woman im not sure what they can do with him.
Charlottes push being rejected comes down to one thing Nepotism. There was a huge crop of female wrestlers who deserved the rub more. Becky Lynch and Asuka being more popular choices. I just feel Charlotte is way too overrated. She has talent ill give her that. But how can we like you if you dont go away? She is the epitome of go away heat during that feud with Rousey and Lynch.
The amount of boos Roman got the next Raw after beating Undertaker is the same amount of boos Dirty Dom get on every Raw. A little better writing and we can have one of the greatest heels in Dom other than Menace Randy and Vince McMahon.
Tbh looking back, I actually prefer short haired Babyface Dominick. This heel Dominick with Judgment Day I think has been awful. Judgment Day as a whole has partly made me quit watching WWE, along with Cody Rhodes. Judgment Day and Cody Rhodes have been the 2 worst things about WWE over the last 2 and half years.
If your last name is flair and your dad is ric flair a hall of famer you should be pushed to the limit as your father did and you should be a 16 time world champion
Vince pused roman reigns but in a wrong way that ruined roman career in first place by giving roman crap promo material bad storylines wrong time wrong position booking for example royal rumble 2015 glad as a roman reigns fan he took that its enough after corbin story and have enough power after being on top that he can command vince to give him freedom creative control when he came back being tribal chief , he waited for his power to make vince agree as if he ask for change before maybe or definitely vince will pushed him in lower card and he lost his paycheck and good position in the company
Never have cheered for Cena or Reigns and I never will. The Anoa'i family is overrated and overhyped - they're average at best. And Cena, well, I hate rap and anyone and anything ever associated with it. I even hate wrestlers who just happen to have rap as their theme music because that means I have to hear it every time they walk out for a match.
Man Brock don’t belong here, yea most didn’t like it but I loved it and it was never meant for anybody to like…Brock was just more of a “if you don’t like it too bad” type of deal
Brocks run wasnt really rejected lol..he was always must see.. he was honestly in a spot where nost guys couldnt beat him because it wasnt gonna be bought..

Funny thing about people back then thinking Bob Backlund had no charisma was we were able to see that he had a ton of it when he was actually able to just talk and not be stuck with the super basic babyface nonsense.
Bob look so bland and generic af😂
Charlotte is a great wrestler. But she's a female Roman Reigns. Given opportunities handed to her due to her famous father. It's clear that WWE wanted her to have as many titles as her father. And it doesn't matter how many times Charlotte comes back to WWE. She still manages to get a title handed her
That’s where the phrase “Charlotte In The Bank” comes from
Roman's father was a tag team wrestler so it's due to the Rock but I get your point lol💯
Rumours says that she will return next year and face tiffy for the wwe women's champion after tiffy cash in on nia. hopefully Charlotte will put over tiffy instead of burying her.....
If Vince didn't push roman back then we might have no tribal chief.. everyone hated him back then. 😂..love ur videos joe..
when eddie guerrero story?
The Charlotte flair rumor seems believable they made asuka lost the title before mania and making the match a winner takes all
Originally, Asuka was supposed to lose the title at Mania against Mandy Rose.
@ what a missed opportunity could you imagine Mandy wrestlemania entrance with the goddess gimmick
8:32 Fan favourite champion?? Bro NOBODY liked Kofi as champion by that point!! 🤣😂 Everyone was happy when Brock took the title from him!!
13:50 No, that's EXACTLY why she got all her titles. Not talent, it was strictly her Dad's doing.
No
Andy you got do one with either the younger brother outshining the big brother or the big brother outshining the younger brother i wanna see that
This Dominic Mysterio's push to be a Judgement Day's(the world's worst ever tag team) tag team wrestler was the most hated I have ever seen in my life and with those ladies who are like a man, this is one of the reasons why I stopped watching the show, good friends!!!
Honorable mentioned
Ronda Rousey...
Her second run for sure. Fans just turned against her just over half way through her first run though.
She is not a wrestler nobody knows what is her moveset 😂
He ended up forcefully turning heel because of it
Annnnnnnnnnnnnndy! Is It Sunday 😱
Have a good one bro 👊🏻
fans are just picky.......if I like a wrestler I do not care if he is heel or face..I enjoy their matches. that is all that matters to me......I remember the whole "Die Rocky Die" issue and I thought it was stupid by a bunch of immature fans who were acting like a bunch of big babies.
Ok. You just like shitty characters thats all.
I honestly don't know why I didn't like the rock when he started. I just know I didn't like him at first
Rejected With Andy
I'll tell you something, whoever is invested in the bloodline storyline and roman reigns, they have no wrestling knowledge.
Im skipping all bloodline stuff now , watching the usos and solo shit the bed week after week is insane.
Imagine Apollo wins one contender match and wins world title..it's literally like that😂😂@@ayhamahmad2277
Liv is paired with Dom because she would get cheered solo
Stop saying that things weren’t so “Rosey” for Roman. You guys do this every time his name is mentioned and it’s disrespectful
It seems as if Dirty Dom will be turnIng face once again after he leaves Judgement Day
They put Dom out there way before he was ready. Now I’m just annoyed by him altogether 😂
I hated Roman with a passion when i was a teenager. I was FURIOUS when he beat Lesnar at Summerslam in 2018.
I love Roman Reigns and his whole family. I didn't like him as a heel, but that's because we're not supposed to like the heels.
Man why do you have to disrespect cody like this 😤
@olaoluwaesho-j4k Because Cody is so fucking boring and bland.
Nothing interesting about him whatsoever.
Maybe we are all marks cause this list is full of all time greats
Wish Cena at least turned heel lile Roman did. Would've been cool if he became the leader of Nexus instead of CM Punk
I can see why you could not like john cena now but we have to admit he held the wwe on his back for a good decade
I never liked Eva Marie at any point in her career 😂
Yep. Just awful.
I almost turned off the video when you didn't say "YEAH" after saying LA Knights (YEAH) name in the video. V disappointed
John was more of a Mix crowd
If your last name is flair and your dad is ric flair a hall of famer you should be pushed to the limit as your father did and you should be a 16 time world champion
You could say the same exact thing about Roman
I loved Jinders reign.
Grizzled old veteran???? Cena is only 47.
Any push Charlotte gets is hated by fans. Heel or face, she is hated.
Dirty dom is such a scumbag .. I can't believe they allow him to stay in the wwe. Can't believe what he did to my mami!
Roman will always be the most controversial example of this 😂
Vince dropped Lex Luger,Mabel,Khali etc pushes but dig his heels in for Roman ..He loved the guy
@ Idk why Lex didn’t get his push but Khali and Mabel were clearly not the best wrestlers
Roman Reigns is an example that if you push someone long enough, ppl get tired and start supporting them.
Nope. His heel turn saved him. If he was still Babyface, he would still be booed out of arenas.
They had to bury many superstars and many legends only to push Roman higher 😂
I used to absolutely h4te dominik mysterio, and now he is one of my favorites
It was the day after x mas 83 when sheik beat bob for the gold, not dec.6th. Sheik held the title for 28 days, thats more than a few days.
Jason Jordan
Kofi got rekt
Took roman 5 Yr took The Rock less than year just needed a mic
Rey rey
Mahol was only champ because Vince was doing deals with Saudi Arabia
Don't hinder Jinder
Nepo kids
SMH
Jihnder was a great heel champ
Jinder Mahal should have never been WWE Champion. It felt slimy to me.
lol
I really don’t care what the old dumb attitude era fans they were the problem I liked baby face John cena old attitude era fans forced cena to lose a lot.
I’ve always been John Cena since 2005
opie Baklund
Dom sucked duh and dirty Dom worse
I loved Jinder getting the championship, it was a breath of fresh air and it should have lasted longer. When Veer came up he should have been used to help put the belt back on Jinder. Lastly when Tony Khan brought up Jinder, Jinder should have beaten Seth Rollins for the WHC if only for a short time as an FU to Tony.
