I think I can speak for everyone and say we can all tell that you a genuinely a good man and I think that is a big reason why people watch the videos keep up the amazing work love the videos
At 48 years old and a business owner, I respect this young man a great deal. Our twin sons are both in our business, which is skilled tradesman line of work. Proud of both of them, and looking at Brian I carry a sense of pride for him as well…..“If that makes sense” 😁
I really appreciate your calm and humble attitude Brian. Of course, all the craftsmanship as well. Thank you always for your uploads. I would really love to apprentice under someone like yourself.
I enjoy your videos and soundtracks as they are. This is a dying art and I enjoy seeing it carried on by someone with passion. Stay humble and best wishes from Florida.
Another great video Brian! Very educational and informative. Looking forward to seeing your growth and continued progress in such a great career field. Thank you for being a educator and bringing the art of being a bootmaker back to the public attention in your own unique way.
You have real and old fashioned values. You deserve every ounce of good luck and admiration that comes your way. Good karma to you Brian, and thank you for sharing your time. #Respect
I really love your soundtracks. It's so relaxing and really pulls you into the story that you're telling. Regardless, you're amazingly talented and I look forward to every new video.
I like your music, and I enjoy all your videos. My dad was a shoe repairman and a pastor. He learned the craft as a young man in the early 1950s and set up shop various times as a side income in small towns long before the internet, so his clientele was very localized. I enjoy seeing you work and all of your machines, as I remember Dad using those same machines. You have a wonderful calm and patient manner. Thank you for your videos.
Always great to watch a craftsman at work. As a boy, I was sent to a tiny shop where an old guy repaired boots and shoes - pick up repaired shoes. Always fascinated me how it was done. You have great skills. Keep the good work and the videos. All the best from Scotland.
I've just discovered your channel. This is the third video I've watched from your channel, and they've all been extremely interesting and so relaxing. Great job.
I just started watching your videos and I love the setting - music and everything. I made a video inspired on the way you make them. I think is great to have an open mind and try new things to improve them. Your videos are so relaxing amigo. Keep up the hard work
In my opinion your videos have a perfect formula. The music just works with your look and feel. I get that For craftsman type videos there is an interest to be immersed in ALL the sights and sounds possible (hence the interest in “no music”). It could be interesting. Keep up the great work! Oh. And by the way. You DO have a gift!
You’re doing a great job. I appreciate your explanations of what you’re doing and telling us some things about yourself. The reason your channel is so successful is because you are naturally gifted for what you’re doing. 🥾🌞🥾
You’re continuing the craft of building old school boots which is great very few people know how good hand made boots feel not like the mass produced junk.
Love your craft and love to see someone so young have that craftsmanship as yourself, nice when you speak spanish you are the true Zapatero you have a true gift my friend- Brian The BootMaker..oh and keep the sound track it cool>>
Great comment about time and hard work. Yes, you do in fact have a gift, and that is vision and artistic perspective. However, people need to know that it requires a lot of hard work and persistence to become a “master” in anything.
Thank you on the explanation on cork being not as durable as leather! I will make a trip to your shop to drop off two pairs to get resoled on my next trip to LA.
You do have a gift my brother, your talented and it shows that not only have you worked hard but continue to learn and grow in your craft. I hope to own a pair of your boots soon some day. But for sure I’m most interested in a pair of your hand built Dress Shoes first. I ware a size 10 and I’m gonna check out your choices that are available so I can have you make me a pair.
I like you soundtracks. They're relaxing but not the least bit boring. They're very much like you you're relaxed and chill and you like to have fun and that's how your music sounds. you look sleepy sometimes. Do you get enough sleep
I like the sound track. The music is soothing. But I watch videos were music is thrown in when work is being done, music is off when dialog is going on and that seems fine too.
This is a dieing art shoe & boot making right on for keeping it alive. I don't even know where a resole shoe shop is in the California bay area West County
Hey Brian, don't try and fix what isn't broken. For me the music you play adds to the overall vibe of your videos. It gives an insight into your character and your love for what you do. I'm not a boot owner and don't listen to your taste in music but love your video's and think the formula you have is right on the mark.
Hard to choose between Iron Rangers and 1000 Mile boots. I am a Red Wing man myself. At 1 point, i had 4 pair. 2 work and 2 nice. Iron Rangers can be stiff new but a good and reputable Red Wing store will oil them up. Best to wear them in hot weather to break in, the heat makes it all more pliable and the leather absorbs the oil and sweat better, causing it to break in better, in my experience. I think that the Iron Rangers are just a real good boot and not to discredit Wolverine(they're from Rockford, Michigan) but they seem more dressy and civilized compared to the Iron Ranger, which was a Miner's work boot in the Iron Mountain Range of Michigan and Minnasoda. Their construction of double leather toe cap and heel were esrly forms of "safety" features (under hunnert piund rocks and ore carts, stepping on timbers high up in the stopes) They, because of that, i think are tougher. I've had mine from the sands of the Great Lakes, to the ice of Michigan to the rocks of Texan Desert, sands of Arizonan desert as well. 7 years. But these days you can buy them off the shelf and or online. Back when i bought mine, Red Wing needed a certain number of orders from across the country to do a production run for their customers. Back them days, they really were a hand made boot. I had to wait about 4 months for them to be made and then a few weeks afterwards. Now, they keep different sizes on the shelf in trendy malls. My right sole is about 1/8th of an inch longer than the left. You won't see that anymore.
I like your sound tracks. Very relaxing to watch.

Interesting to hear that any boots can be resoled. I was looking at my well worn Sidi Vertebra motorcycle boots and thinking they're a gonna
I'm definitely going to get in contact with you about a pair of boots soon!
I like the sound track. The music is soothing. But I watch videos were music is thrown in when work is being done, music is off when dialog is going on and that seems fine too.
