This was so on point! I’m on my second set this year and I did both myself. The first set, showed me what to expect since my hair was almost all the way locked in 6 months. I overthought the first set and truly didn’t make them as symmetrical as I would have done for any two strand twists I put in before. This time I was extremely intentional and they are setting up great.

I definitely think a smaller set will be the way to go if you loc your hair again. I’m 2.5 years in. I have 77 locs and it’s a versatile size. ❤

I cut my off my lock after and restarted a second journey I I learned from the first set how to take care of of my locs no bleach on fine hair .😢

I have loc'ed my hair twice. The first time was April 2020, I did quadrants and within 2 months I had changed my mind about it. I took them down, wore my hair natural for like a week, then I did some box braids. I didnt like having my hair down. My son was 6 months old, busy, and I was working from home.
I found you, and by my sons 1st birthday, I had decided I was ready to try again.
This time, I took my time, I checked each row. Checked my parting, and did my best to make them match. I have hair trauma from salons, and a sensitive scalp, so I never intended on going to a loctition. I have like 3 THIQUE axs locs, but I thug it out with them.
It allows me to be free, I enjoy being able to wet/mositurize/oil and leave. I loved my locs thru every stage, its been so amazing. I did a semi permanent Blue dye on my locs last year. You always made me wanna experiment with my locs, I have the plainest locs in existence for a woman.

Girrrlll this the one! 😂 I went to get mine started, went back once and that’s it. I will say at this point (1 and a 1/2 years in) I’m tired of retwisting myself all the time, so I wanna start going for maintenance like once a quarter. Bc with these prices, it’s def a luxury 😂

I also have thinner locs on the front sides. I thought it was just less thickness on the front sides.
