I had locs for over 15 yrs and then cut them off, did every hair style l ever wanted with my hair and now I’m back to locs again, for me there is nothing like locs.
I had loc extensions for a long while and ended up cutting them out after a lot of consideration 😅 I loved having locs but I’ve always loved being able to do any style under the sun so I had to go back to loose hair! A big change for me was coming back with so so much more love for my coils. I’d always had trouble accepting my 4c pattern as it was, but coming back to them after not seeing them for so long allowed me to finally fall for my curl pattern! 😍
I took my locs out Nov 2022 after having them for 5 years. I deff want them back but I’m enjoying this break, I think dyeing my locs was a bad move, it made them thin and dry. This next time I won’t do that
I Took My Locs Out A Couple Days Before They Made It To One Year Because I Had a Few Of Locs Tugging At My Scalp and it Was Painful. It Feels Good To Run My Hands Through My Scalp. However, I Do Miss Just Waking Up Shaking My Hair & Walking Out The Door. I Will Say Though My Hair Loose Hair Is The Longest It’s Ever Been
I had a routine with my hair whether a twist out, wash and go or silk press. I just got bored with it all and locs were fun but the styles just don’t do it for me with locs. I rather wear a cute ponytail tail or a good wig to achieve a different look than fool with my hair😂. I’m so tender headed so everything I do is low maintenance period.

Dropping some real gems. I been locked for 6 months and started with loc extensions. I find myself missing my loose hair .
I just combed out my locs about a month ago, that I had for 2 and a half years. I don’t regret it at all. So glad I did.
