This is so true, before the trip I was using them to carry wet gear from paddle days home in the car, it's easier to carry straight to the washing line to dry and keeps everything else in the car dry rather than soaks through everything! Thanks for the feedback!
Hi. Good video. Can you tell us about your method moving the car and what kit you had? I’m wondering why you didn’t load the boat at the shore to keep it lighter? EDIT; should’ve waited until I had watched Pt 2!! Thanks. Love the photos.
We think we did this the easiest way, the pontoons for the Canadian canoes were sharp and I did cut my hand. The strap and carabineers was the best method with so many locks, the emptying and reloading of the boat would have been more challenging. Thank you for watching. The car parking is resolved when you speak to the Fort William end of the trails information office on getting the key.
Hello ... congratulations on the crossing. Could you tell me where to rent a good sea kayak near the channel? I'm from Spain and it would take me many days to get my sea kayak to Scotland. Best regards and thanks.
Thank you, I'm not sure about rental as I did not rent but the first place to look is Fort William, when you've finished you may need to arrange transport back to Fort William, some may offer transport, best bet would be to call them.
Another trip on my tick list too. Looks a fantastic journey
I would totally do it again, and take more time. Thanks for the comment 🙏
IKEA bags are great to carry your things. Great video!

You should really burp your dry suit, Michelin Man!
I do try, it was hot (probably too hot to be wearing) and I could feel it inflating as the day plays out but note taken, thanks 👍
