Lovely water through beautiful country. Seems like a lot of narrow boats on that stretch.
Not much you can do but run from a militant swan protecting their mate.
I imagine those staircase locks would have to be factored in to a longer trip along that route. That would be a fun series to watch. Thanks Karl.

Can I ask you? Is there too much of a difference between the Deschutes & the Chelan? Honest question
The only difference is the Chelan has a drop stitch floor panel, oh and a better seat.
What's surprised me with the Deschutes is I haven't missed having a drop stitch floor. In fact it's better without it because it's so much easier to dry.
Other than that they're both made of the same material etc.

I've still got it. I spent some time getting used to the Chelan in prep for our big trip. Then this Deschutes came up on offer. I must admit, the Deschutes has surprised me 👍😁
@@MoreThanJustaCleaner Ok cheers, thought you might have gone off it. I went on Amazon last week to finally buy an Ottowa, and they're not available at the moment. The GoPlus is down to 200 though, and the Sandbanks Optimal is on their website for 500, or 424 for an ex demo. Still can't make my mind up!
