- Destroying angel mushrooms are dangerous, distinctive Amanita mushrooms that are white all over, with a membranous ring on the stem, a cup or sac of tissue at the base, and no warts or other bits of tissue on the cap. In this video, I walk through the characteristics that our numerous destroying angel species share #mushroomhunting #wildmushrooms #mycology #shorts

hi Anna, George here, here being up near Cashiers NC. the mushrooms here are just starting to fruit. it has been a cold spring and things like the Hemlock Reishi are three weeks later than last year. It sure would be fun to hike up here with you and learn more. I get a kick out of your style and enjoy your videos. smiling, George.
I haven’t tried looking at spores yet with my battery powered electronics scope but I bet it would work. Light enough to hike with.
That is........... teeny teeny tiny to be bisporigera and UV rooted quite deep...
Im in Greensboro we should meet up for a forage sometime. Do you know of any North Carolina forging meet ups? Does anything like that exist?Just spent the night in Uhwarrie .Shrooms were popping off.
💚
One of my older mushroom books said they are edible after parboiling😮
blah blah some only once...
Lol, that's wild. Especially so considering that I don't believe that they have ever been thought to be edible by any reputable source in the past. That book is just making stuff up hoping to unalive people?
One day soon, Americans are going to wish that they spent their time learning these . ❤😂
Kinda cute if it wasn't so deadly 💀☠
