SO good. Ard Louis is surely one of my favorite scientists. I’m so glad to have people like him defending our faith in a field that looks so opposite to it. Haven’t seen him in a while. I always feel refreshed and encouraged listening to him! May Jesus keep you and your beautiful family 💛
For some of us (well me at least) who struggle - over many years - to make sense of a universe which instinct tells us has a Creator, yet whose harsh reality, cruelty, size, moral incomprehensibility, constantly undermines that instinct, the existence of people like Professor Louis, whose scientific understanding far, far exceeds our own, and who still find it possible - indeed imperative - to have faith, is so very important. It is the possibility of faith in such people, rather than any particular detail of their contribution to the science / faith dialogues that is so comforting - and challenging. Thank you.
A number of years ago, I was saying my prayers when a thought/realization occurred to me. GOD was listening to ME, and keeping the physical universe running, and not breaking a sweat doing it. For several days after I walked around with a BIG Smile on on my face.
But isnt having faith completly against the point of science... yeah know having evidence... I have been trying to prove that ALL of the events of the Bible are true and according to science, most of them couldnt of taken place exactly how it was described. Like the Tower of Babylon, we know Heaven isnt a physical place, yet we somehow figured out how to build a tower to reach the spiritual realm? When you look at the bible as a history book more than a story book then the events that happen start to become way more interesting...
professors in oxford share their faith freely. not in classroom, of course, no time for that. why would you preach in classroom when you are supposed to teach?
Thank you Dr. Louis, awesome on many levels. Your gracious spirit and Enhances all that you say.
I love Professor Ard... He's expanded my understanding so much ☺️
Gosh, it’s good to see you again. More please!

I just hope Professor you don't bring your religious views to your courses
Would you feel the same if he was an atheist and presented atheist views in class?
