Wtf u on about. In origins the husks of the darkspawn where always zombified people and their tactics was all because of the archdemon army. We are seeing the beginning of a blight wuth husks before they evolve further
i remember when darkspawn were something scary and only the wardens could fight them with chance of surviving or very powerfull mages, now everyone fights them like they are muppets. corruption ? what blight ? every fight was a chance to get blighted on, after DAI made wardens incompetents, they may just want to focus the enemy to something else and retitle this series. clearly it has nothing to do with dragons (even though its the age of dragons). speaking of wich, what the fuck was the importance of dragons anyway ? they completelly tossed that storyline under the rug.
it WAS the age of dragons. The game ends with the last blight. So the Dragon Age is over... No blights = no archdemons = no dragon age All other questions were not even answered or mentioned. Or even expanded... Red Lyrium? Andraste? Talking Darkspawn? Templar addiction? What is the situation on Hawke, HOF and many of the other characters. I also think the ending is a cop out. For me the ending should either be, Solas wins and we all die. And we all die, but we win. Those felt like the only satisfying options. The inquisitor ending seems the one they want you to go for, but then why create this bs Rooke character. If they just replaced Rook with the inquisitor and most of the choices of that game, that would've helped so much. No story choices, no story choices from previous games, no party strategic combat. This just isn't a real dragon age game. This is a mobile game that was ported into a platform game. And thus you get a dumbed down version of everything. Combat is dumbed down, party play is gone, dialogue is dumbed down, graphics are dumbed down. As a life long dragon age fan, this is a failure and i will not buy it. I just watched "cinematic movie" and i'm far from impressed.
"Dragon age" always was just a cool title with no deep meaning behind it. It the codex of DA:O it was said that the Orlesian church was about to name the coming age the Age of Orlais for the overwhelming success of their empire, but Maric and Loghain have unexpectedly won in their uprising against Orlesian occupation of Ferelden, and in the same time the dragon suddenly appears, although their species was believed to be long extinct, and desolates the countryside of inner Orlais. So the church names the new age after dragons due to lack of other options.

They’re just zombies now. Darkspawn ARE NOT zombies. That’s what made them such a threat. They aren’t mindless like the undead. They are extremely intelligent and cunning especially when an arch demon directs them.
