I learned that criminology is a scientific study, because we use sciences in studying criminology, crimes, and criminals. And by using this scientific sciences we are using scientific method, it is a theory based, sistematized body of knowledge. In addition, we are studying society thats why it is one of the key components of criminology that is 'Sociology' who set and defined rules and regulations.
Way back when I was in JHS I thought Criminology was just all about the crime itself, law, criminals, and training. But then as I watch the video I start to process and understand criminology. Just like how deep the field is and contains various types of data that will help us, students, to understand and familiarize stuff that is connected to our course. I tend to gain new knowledge just like knowing who introduce it and how is it related to science and its nature. But I'm still looking forward to filling up my innocent and not so knowledgeable mind with this kind of informations.
I learned that criminology has a branch that studies crime and the relation of it to our society. I also remember the natures of criminology and understand every single detail of it. One of these is that criminology is dynamic because it adapts to the changing time.
I learned that criminology now is a science because according to edwin h Sutherland criminology is the entire body of knowledge regarding crime as a social phenomenon
I determined that crime is common in our culture, and that penology is the study of criminal punishment and prison administration.Because we employ sciences to research criminology, crimes, and offenders, I gained that criminology is a scientific discipline.
Sir, i learned that crime itself is breaking of law once you break a law you committed a crime, and also i learn from this lesson is that criminology is a science study, because we use science in studying criminology, crimes, and criminals.
I learnt that CRIMINOLOGY is derived from the latin word "crimen" and the Greek word "logos," which means "to study." When the dean of modern criminology, Edwin H. Sutherland, says that "hopefully, criminology will become a science in the future," criminology is already an applied science because criminology as a body of knowledge has already established universally accepted principles and concepts, which are used by other fields of study or the word INSTRUMENTATION. In addition, criminality is common in our world. Finally, there is no crime when there is no law punishing it, according to Nullum crimen nulla poena sine lege.
I learned that the word criminology is originated from the two Greek words Crimen which means "accusation" and Logia which means "the study of". And when we combine the two words, Criminology means the study of crime.
I learned that according to Edwin h Sutherland that crime is a social phenomenon, the crime is normal in our society and with its scope the process of law kung bakit nakakagawa ng krimen ang tao and how society's reaction towards breaking of law kung saan nag rere act ang society trough punishment
Principal divisions of criminology Etiology of crimes- Where looking to the cause, to beginning, to the root of crime Sociology of law- We are investigating the nature Penology- We study how to control crime because if we not study how to control crime if will encourage other people to commit also crime.
For him, George wilker Although edwin Shutter Land, the dean of modern criminology, hopes that it will become a science in its own time, criminology is not a science because there is no universal validity that allows us to proclaim it g
Based on the video that I've watched I understand that you can call yourself a criminologist if you graduate with a degree of BS criminology and pass the licensure board exam of a criminologist also registered as a board examiners of the Professional Regulation Commission. And once you break the law you are committing a crime.
Good day sir.. pag 4yrs graduate po ba ng I.T, may mas madali po bang paraan pra makapag pulis without taking CRIM for 4yrs again? T.Y in advance po Godbless..
In society, we can interact and relate more with people. We can know the norm or what is normal and standard in the society which we ought not to violate. In paychology, we can understand the development of personality and character of a person. We can guide people according to their age and need. Because psychology is more of understanding human behavior and mental processes. And in psychiatry, even in simple and little way determine symptoms of mental illness. But over all, we can use them all to understand both the commission of crime and the criminal causation. Thank you.

Sir where can we use the psychological, sociological and psychiatric concept in real life?
