    Use the QCAD breakout instead of divide/select/delete. Use trim to extend lines as well as shorten to an intersection/reference point. QCAD can be extremely efficient if you use the right tools, even more so if you use keyboard shortcuts.

    I have a question coming at 0:25: you click the length of your first line. I don't have the square where you fill in the length. Why is that? For the moment I have the trial version (before I buy QCAD). Your reply please.

      You right click the toolbar, select toobar and choose attributes

    Q: When you offset the line walls at time 2:21 only two line walls are offset. When I do it, these two lines and also part of the exterior line are offset. What I am doing wrong?

      I had a similar issue, it turns out it has something to do with the line start/end. I flipped the horizontal line at 180 degrees and then it worked out fine
