Very comprehensive video, well done. I agree with the need for a screen wholeheartedly. I purchased this machine and am just getting to know Lightburn. I have a well equipped hoghy wood shop and use a CNC machine for other projects as well. This is a great addition. Than you for sharing your points. Everyone stay safe, warm, happy and healthy. Hi Aurora, can you do a video for your top printers, 1 for budget, high end, idex, sla, all in 1 etc. Also can you add speeds of printers, as I noticed some printers are much faster than others
What is that mat you have under the laser? I am concerned that if I go to cut something, it will hurt the surface that the machine is sitting on. I'm not quite sure what to put under it to protect the table.
Awesome review very detailed. Any idea what would be the ideal surface to place the machine on? Would be awesome if you had a video comparing laser engraver software.
Love your reviews. They are the best I've found on UA-cam. Let me know if you have an opinion about which would be best for making cursive wood name tags as table place settings or Christmas stocking labels. I'm thinking 1/4 inch thick but wonder if the intricacy of cursive letters would require a higher power laser like the 22w or if the 10w would still suffice? Thanks for the content!
What would be the recommandation bewteen Falcon 2 and Xtools D1 Pro (both 20W/22W) when die Falcon 2 is around 40% cheaper. Both Systems calculated complete costs including rotary and air assist... In numbers e645 vs €1070 .... I would prefer steel rails - but is this worth couple of hundred €?
Hi there, great review channel! - Do you know if Creality have a rotary stand similar to the one included with the XTool Pro RA2. I want to buy one and I am trying to choose between the Creality Falcon 22w and the Xtool Pro
What is the laser tent you used? Was it from Creality or 3rd party? Have you tried to engrave or cut metal yet? The marketing blurb claims it can cut 0.05 mm stainless steel.
And the 40w can do "Magical colorful engraving"... Dont believe their promos. Only go on reviews as to what they can actually do. You may be able to etch it but usually, a black paint is applied and then burning the black in creates heat in the steel that marks it. Sending a laser to bare metal will usually do nothing. And I don't know what the use of 1/20mm steel is..Not even jewellery. I'm going for the elegoo phecda Kickstarter. A company that has a good reputation.
You mentioned not being able to cut clear acrylic. Is this something that’s not possible, not recommended, or difficult? Can you do it if you put a black metal plate beneath the acrylic? If not, is there a mid range price, like this one, laser engraver that you would recommend?
It has to do with the wavelength of the diode laser. CO2 lasers and diode lasers have very different wavelenghts, they both have their advantages for different materials.
Hello, I have seen that the manufacturer promises to engrave with color with this machine but so far I have not seen anyone do it in their tests. Is there special software to be able to engrave with color?
You can NOT engrave color. The only color you can gain is by burning the material with different laser strengths. 100% for deep black 50% for gray 0% for white. It will always be black and white.
@@davidbball13 I used an industrial diode laser engraver, it IS possible to mark the surface of metals with color. I think what's happening is you're causing the surface to oxidize and it affects the wavelength of light that's reflected. Depending on how you configure the laser, you can create blue, green, yellow, orange, brown, maybe other shades. I can't say if it's truly possible with this specific model, but I'd say it's premature to rule it out.
You can engrave color on steel/iron and other metals. the color engraved depends on the power used on the engraving. There are lots of videos on YT now of people using the Falcon 2 for exactly that.
the falcon 2 40 watt is supposed to do, quoting from their UA-cam channel "Magical colorful engraving" Please let people know this is rubbish and it will never do what fiber lasers can do.
Well done video. Finally a video where all the details are specified (speed, cut depth in mm and inch, ...). Really informative.

Very good video. Shows clear comparisons that other videos does not show like performance with thickness and acrylic.

Hi!! Do you have handy, or do you know where to download the profile for lightBurn? Thanks!!!
How much does it weight including the rotary cylinder tool..
Can gold and silver cutting be done with it

I was wondering the same thing.
Definitely the best review of the creality falcon 22 watt, excellent job. Can you upload your test files , still finding my way around lasering

I wonder how will it stack against Elegoo Phecda currently on kickstarter for half of the price of Creality.
Where can I get the metal base that you place the wood on?
Excellent video by the way.

Damn girl you have a very informative video here. I will be watching more of your stuff.
thank you very much.. please, can this machine cut plastic? (acrylic, plexiglass)
Hey, Can you please also review LaserPecker 3 or 4?
Thanks
Excellent review, thanks.
Where can I get the lightburn profile for this machine?
Comes with the laser on a USB stick. I cant find it online for download anywhere though.

Will you do a review on the Elegoo Neptune 3 printers? Id love to see the MAX.
Thank you 🙏 😊

Not possible with diode lasers, if you want to cut clear acrylic u need a co2 laser

Hi do you prefer this over the 20w Xtool or vice versa?
Hi,
Is it able to engrave stainless steel?
yes it can engrave stainless steel -saw on another UA-cam video- this video does great job explaining the machine.
Привет. Спасибо за видео. Где скачать файл для теста как на видео??? Дайте пожалуйста ссылку
Hi! Thanks for the review. The discount code doesn’t work for me. Can you help? Please and thanks

It's not possible to engrave "colors" but it can do different shades of dark.

6w x 4 = 22w?
Best video , thanks
#Aurora Tech Hi friend, does this laser have the possibility of increasing the work area?
I didn't see it has an extension kit yet like the xTool D1 Pro.
Can it cut through metal?
rated to cut steel up to 0.05mm in one pass
We usually speak in terms of mm/sec
25000 mm /min was a bit of a shock.
417 mm/sec sound much better, lol
I dont know why they rate thousands of mm instead of meters. 25meters per minute sounds way better.
👍🏻👍🏻
Very cool

34 seconds ago lets gooo
It's over priced for what one gets. I would not put my money into this machine others offer better value
What would you recommend?
