Very cool, but I noticed that there's a bit of a tiling effect on the planet near the bottom of the rendered image, where there are some visible rhombus-shaped indentations or imprints on its surface.
Why a cube instead of a sphere if you are not using an image for the surface, but making you own texture? There isn't going to be a pole pinching issue, is there?
