Nice video and great editing! Keep it up! I'll share a few suggestions for more upgrades to the Falcon Pro soon. :) I enjoyed watching 😊🫡

I initially had the same issue with the camera. However, using a different USB cable solved the problem. The camera is a really basic USB webcam module.
There are switches just inside, behind the front logo, that operate the alarms, one for the tray, one for the lid. Also, I cut square "Cs" that will easily hold down your warped material. My camea worked first time.
yeah after the sponsor saw the video they told me about the switches inside 🤦🏻♂️ I'd love to see the "c"'s you made! that would be super helpful👍🏻 Glad the camera worked for you. i haven't had a chance to revisit it yet😅
@@stuffsethmakesCan't seem to upload a photo here, but I measured the total depth including the 3mm material and drew a square "c" . The opening is larger with 6mm material. Also, the top edge of the C needs to be skinny so as not to interfere with the module. The C slides down btwn the slats. Twist it under the slats and over the material.
@gordparrott9640 so the height of the C just needs to accommodate the rail and the thickness of whatever material i'm cutting? 👌🏻 Maybe i can 3D print some. Thanks for the tip!
i'd say the working area measurement is accurate. the ACTUAL surface area is bigger, but that's the unused space because of the arms/axis. The smell shouldn't be an issue if you have it ducted properly. I have a somewhat sloppy connection where i've ported mine out the window...and on heavy burns I do notice a little bit of smoke leaking🤦🏻♂️ but that's no fault of the laser, just my poor design of the connection haha. I have a pvc elbow attached to the exhaust hose and just the way it's positioned is not ideal, i just haven't had the time to fuss with it more yet.
Love this video! But question. Where did you get your exhause hose? I've been scouring Creality's site and the webs for a good exhaust hose, like you have in this video, and the only place I can find one is as a package with the fume extractor. I'd rather not spend another $400-$500 when all i want is the hose. Thanks!

@@Hotecce1 if i'm understanding you correctly, i believe the answer is yes. Creality told me about a switch on the inside that needs to be flipped if i were using the rotary accessory. That switch also allows the user to open the door with no problem
I am wondering how can Creality make any income from their Falcon2 Pro considering they send their machine to so many UA-camrs for reviews! Crazy... What a business model...
how much do you think it costs Chyna to make these little laser engravers? I'm guessing not much. I do know that at least a couple, if not more, people have purchased one of their lasers as a result of watching my videos and I'm just a small channel. Larger channels probably bring more business for them. Also, their main thing has been 3D printers and I think they want their laser engravers to become as popular as those. You gotta spend money to make money.
i don't think so. I don't think you can even have much success with acrylic 🤦🏻♂️. Just for kicks I tried putting a brass coin in mine and ran some tests but it looked like i didn't even do anything haha! I think you'd need a fiber laser (?) to do coins. If you look up the channel "Two Moose Design" of something like that, you can scroll through their videos and I think he does some coins or medallions or something with a fiber laser👍🏻
Did you sign an agreement with Creality? If so, this won't be the most honest review. In fact, quite the opposite. Until I know that, your review is useless to most people.
🤣🤣🤣 okay buddy. My agreement was that I would give an honest review, and in case you didn't watch the video, that's exactly what I did. So until you can tell me what part of the video seemed dishonest, your comment is useless to everybody.
@@stuffsethmakes Yeah. I don't believe you. Too much of this crap on youtube. Show a redacted contract then with your signature. If not, no credibility.
@lancervi1762 believe what you want. did you even watch the video? i say things i don't like about the laser and point out problems i had with it. Honest review video. And FYI i didn't sign anything. Good luck out there.
love the permanent home board xD
For the X,Y home hack, you are my hero!
💛 it's been so helpful for me, i'm happy to hear somebody else finds it helpful too! 🙌🏻
I'm using it now, too. It is so helpful.
Great information. Thanks!
Your videos were the BOOM of inspiration and creativity that I needed, beautiful work, I loved the video, hugs from Brazil!
@@gabrielrohrbacher thank you so much! I try to make my videos fun and helpful. Glad you enjoyed it and were able to get something out of it! 🙌🏻
That X Y jig is gonna make me look wicked smart, thanks Seth

What a great F****n video! 😂😂😂
And that's the second best use of deep voice-overs that I've ever heard!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙌🏻
Very cool!
Can i ask, is the working space really 400x415mm or is it smaller because of the metal arms for the axis? And how is the smell even with the casing?

i just pasted a link in a reply to your comment. It's an amazon link to a creality fan/hose. Hopefully that's what you're looking for?🙌🏻
are you able to disable the door switch?

@stuffsethmakes that's great. cause I need to see close up when I'm framing.

Be careful with that lid, there’s a reason the safety feature is there.
