doesn't the laser module let you use it at 22w as well with a push of a button. This would help when engraving. so you get two lasers in one 40w and 22w + the 1.6w as a separate module .
I suggest Creative add a wifi module. Conect camera to that wifi modulw. Manage jacks of the cable in a way that one cannot break it accidentally. Sell the enclosure case as an upgrade for older falcon 2 users. Sell an optional 2W IR Laser module. It needs a Z axis adjusting knob as the 2 existing ones are improper. It needs INSTRUCTIONS on their YT channel to explain how not all metals can be engraved. For me, 2023 Falcon 2 22W was the first and last product I will ever buy from Creality. Too much fuss, too much tinkering. Had to buy a raspberry pi and a camera to make it work wirelessly. A shitty creality enclosure that looks like a improvised tent, Buy a different honeycomb bed, add a series of adaptors for the bed to stay in the same position, etc… I am FRUSTRATED. I just want to get rid of it and buy a proper xTool complete equipment. I feel cheated. lucky me that for the 3d printer I chose Bambulab.

Frankly, even if the fiber laser engravers only have 100mm x 100mm work area, they OUTCLASS that bizarre CReality Falcon2 "pro???" in matter of precision, quality and above all speed! Who's going to put $2400 in "that" while you can get a fiber laser 200mm x 200mm for LESS? C'mon! Bet that this device will count among CReality's FAILURES! Just looking forward to seeing a Falcon2 pro pro pro PFFFT! inflation of words only!
Fibre lasers work at a different frequency/wavelength and therefore are suited to different materials. They are ideal for engraving metals (and cutting at much higher power industrial strength) but one at the price you reference would never cut 5mm of ply let alone an inch of pine. Completely different machines for different needs. There is some overlap between diode lasers and CO2 lasers though and some may choose the simplicity and lower maintenance of diode (like the Falcon) over the slightly more flexible cutting power of CO2
2:02 I wonder what sort of technology is a foucs beam light path. ahem I know it's a bit semantic, and asian product handbooks and labels have come a long way to communicate with their many different language speaking international markets... but there's still a small step to go. (I understand it's such a minor hiccup, and state that I have incredibly low skills at dealing with foreign languages, but having people who speak the target language as their native tongue, that have good spelling skills, to proof read printed matter wouldn't be a costly addition).... or has someone that should have got it right dropped a clanger?

Yes, I also tested the 'precise' (22W) mode which uses lower power. The top four pictures on the plywood sheet were created using the 22W mode.
