I like the detail of the player moving Mario along haltingly once things start to get really spooky. It adds to the feeling of this just being a screen recording of a random rom that the player found.

What I love about vibingleaf is how he doesn't just rely on fear, he humanizes people in his retakes. He relies on familiarity, on the horror of our real world, that many monsters were once people. It makes it all the more heart-wrenching to show monsters that just have always been monsters. His horror isn't in your face, trying to get a cheap undeserved jump, it toys with you, it creeps up on you, playing with your emotions, slowly giving a rising feeling of uncomfort that unlike cheap jumps, will stay with you.
I like when movements can express a players feeling or be so immersed that they treat the character like it's them kind of like Minecraft crouching or looking up in Super Mario World, or mentioning "Oh, I died/fainted" when it was the character or Pokemon not the player.

This looks like a NES Homebrew because there's no way you can make the ground higher in a regular Super Mario Bros. ROM
I have s feeling it could be a rom hack or a custom NES rom file because of the differences of Mario’s movement and Goombas not falling off blocks. but once we progress into the video, we noticed sprites and background that exceed the 3 color limit that is applied to sprites and backgrounds for the NES, so I doubt it’s an NES rom. It could be a homebrew for the NES, but it’s played on what looks like an emulator, so I doubt it would be a homebrew. I have a feeling maybe the emulator is for a different console, and the rom might be for something like the SEGA Genesis, possibly using one glitch that can create images or backgrounds that can exceed the color limit. For the music that sounds like the NES sound chip, I think the person that made the ROM file made audio samples that replicate the NES audio. Although, I might be wrong. I know some stuff about consoles and their hardware, but not a lot.

Okay. VibingLeaf told me it was not an emulator. Tbh, based on huge differences, I have a feeling it might be something else. My brain started thinking that it might be a flash game that was downloaded and played on a modified flash player. My theory for how they were able to play on the modified flash player was changing the date for before flash player support ended. Another thing my brain was thinking was that it was coded in C# with a Windows Form engine for a save and load progress system, and they coded a pixel game engine to make sprites. Idk if it might be true though. Only VibingLeaf and the crew controls the story.

In case you don’t know what it is, it’s a My Little Pony creepypasta where Twilight is apparently the last being alive ever, and acts like everyone is still there.
There are a few unexplained moments, such as the song at the end having very weird lyrics, strange static occasionally, and at the very end, Twilight looking like she’s completely lost all hope as the camera zooms out and out, past the clouds, as the episode ends.
I really just want you to give a reason for Twilight being the last of her kind, add more creepiness, and expand on the already present lore.
