Just a quick correction on what’s going on with Gojo with the wound, he strengthened himself with cursed energy however he did NOT seal the wound shut. So he is fighting injured still. Healing yourself requires reversal technique which it’s revealed Geto and Gojo do not know how to do since Shoko couldn’t explain to them properly but she can do it. Gojo reaching for the blade was likely just a human instinctual reaction to take out whatever is coursing you pain.

Wanted to ask you a question: Why sakuga fans pay little attention to the producer? I think for example because of producer Hell's Paradise had bad production. And because of producers Cloverworks doing magic with amount and quality of their shows. BTW i think JJK season 2 has bigger production than 8 months. Some of staff were talking about jjk around/before episode 5 of chainsaw man, but i am not 100% sure. I hope it was interesting to read P.S. Producers are The guys who plans everything, gets stuff and etc. For example most of animes with Wataru Kawagoe as producer had production hell. While Shouta Umehara was working for a lot of good looking and well produced, except for a few times(EGG).
I know i may be wrong or inaccurate, but still that idea is kinda interesting. And explains some things really good P.S. I am not saying that show had enough time and good schedule. I am just saying that some aspects can be more interesting and complicated
You're right that animation producers are the kind of person that are important to make a series have quality, but I don't agree with talking about it in the sense that Kawagoe is the sole to blame for the HP's production being bad, that's just a result of terrible management in general. Kawagoe can bring good people, he just doesn't have that many super strong connections. And he had to be born between a AOT special and HP, so one had to be prioritized...
I didnt even put together why toji used a normal katana at the beginning, wow This guy is so smart, i did catch he was hoping to kill gojou on that first hit, but i didnt catch that he was trying to hide his presence even more
remember when the paper bag guy told kuroi “if you’re going to kill do it quietly”…..man really toji do it 😂 ofc He is the real assassin not kuroi😂 //for me, the fight btw gojo toji is amazing but what i like more than fighting sq is how emotion rollercoaster in this EP we start with intense > comedy > drama > action > drama > sad > rage. the moment she realize she want to live and next she die😢
Edit: This post is more about online people not this video, the video just got me thinking. I agree with the video and the chainsawman comment makes sense and is on point, adding special spice to a scene essentially is art, and that's what we're here for, creative expression (I'm paraphrasing in my own way), I'm more talking about people who went about signing petitions and refusing to support as a way to say something instead of constructive criticism like this video anyway my original post flaws in all: I think chainsawman gets a bit too much hate, I love the fact it was the director's vision and not what everyone expected aka more fooly cooly or cyber punk edge runners with the plot running through all the chapters or maybe 50 in 12 eps to get that feeling of fast pacing fans thought they wanted. The actual manga of part 1 of CM is fast but its also a lot to do with people binge reading it. I don't think a constantly changing art style and so on would work...maybe later...I think setting up the world as mundane and then building to crazy is my favorite storytelling method thou, so I like a good build up and I'm in the minority these days as hype is more important lately lol. I also think the hate for CM's CGI was overblown especially since some of it wasn't CGI but got called out for being CGI like people who call out rotoscoping when a scene is just good animation. I think CM and the cinematic feel worked well since i could get my non fans of anime into the series as it feels more mature and down to earth vs a loud fast moving crazy show that they scoff at from afar and expect. Its a nice change of pace to try a different story telling format but i also respect wanting to see some creativity. Akin to wanting a Wes Anderson film to go crazy vs wanting a more somber take. Also i feel like the CM manga rarely goes super off model and has more of a grounded style in weird situations with an off hilter feel. Some of my favorite mixes.
@@A1000-b9s Oh sorry, I wrote that coming off like I was going off on him. OH no I know he does, his comment just made me think of people who don't. @@A1000-b9s Yup, it really hurts as someone who's into art to hear people scream that CM is bad for using CGI or lazy for the chainsaw, since its such a non important part and there were plenty of parts without CGI people said were CGI soooo...and wasting time to animate on 1s for a chainsaw teeth is such a waste of time for a series. I bet CM would have been taken over faster if many weren't willing to have to deal with that. I know you could get away with having the teeth just be a spin effect but the head piece and so on just a lot of detail and line milage for people who'd just call It out if it wasn't perfect. I see how cyberpunk edge runner type animation and pacing might have worked for CM thou as people criticise CM for being a bit too grounded...but I'm sure they will change it next season. Still love that they tried something new and for the most part non anime fans i show it to love the production and the story even if they cant express why as much as anime fans. lol. It all feels adult or like a Tarantino plot with the pacing and off hilter feel and taboo subject matter handled realistic and adult with real life stakes aka death happens and its not some I'm going out with this super speed and you knew me for 100 eps type of deal.
The possibility of Arifumi Imai being involved at all next episode got me acting up man. A new Anime Directed by Sunghoo Park is set premiere 2024 i watched the trailer and it looks good. I hope you can react to that, the title is Ninja Kamui.
The ghosting in Japanese anime is because of the Porygon episode of Pokemon. It had a lot of flashing which caused some kids/people watching to have seizures. Idk if that applies here.
34:50 no it won't. Add a few word/change a word order. Make sure the syllables fit and it all works out. If they lip sync something like Trigun Stampede or any CG that has more defined lip flaps than the average anime then a cut like this will be a breeze to sync.
@@rrbcraftergames3361 chainsaw man is a League of its own. And also you can't compare them cause Mappa use a lot of freelancers (like every studio, but they do in-house stuff as well). Bro how/where do you find out the credits to this episode and which animator worked on which part of the episode. Might seem like a silly question but I couldn't find it when I tried looking
Something I really really loved during the sequence where Toji gets thrown through the buildings is (and we sadly don’t hear it in this video) is the ost. It has this crazy techno track playing as he jumps through the forest and the music gets even more frantic when Gojo launches him. It’s a super good use of both visuals and music.
The reason why Toji didn't kill ghetto was because he knew that ghetto was a curse spirit manipulator so killing him will release the curses in him and that will fu*k up his plans he even tells ghetto that thank your parents that you are not born a curse spirit user And I definitely did not misspell any word in my comment And I love this channel with a passion
there was one scene in the zero movie where gojos eyes looked like a black hole, so i def dont think s2 had the most detailed gojo eyes, imo the OVERglow in that shot for s2 ep3 looked goofy asf
I was a bit underwhelmed with action direction. Idk. It's technically impressive but I miss Parks kinetic energy and wide shots in close hand to hand combat
@@DarkKing-z6b that was a low priority episode and the fight scene itself wasn't an important one. They'll obviously have better animators for high priority episodes like in this one. The new directors and SBs debuting is also not a bad thing, just look at ep3, it also had a debuting director and SB artist but it turned out really good.
@@DarkKing-z6b I've conversed with people like you who just don't prefer/like Kanada style animation, so there's no point in me trying to explain how it's not bad and just a different style since you won't change your mind anyway, so I'd rather not bother.
@@DarkKing-z6b For one, it wasn't even that bad. It just had too many cuts and even then, that's nitpicking. Second, the fact that you (and everyone else, including myself) don't even know the dude's name shows that it wasn't an important moment. It was just there to show that Geto is competent in hand-to-hand combat.
You talked about improved color design... Not exactly. The color design is clearly the same of s1. It's just that there isn't an abundance of light diffusion filter like in s1 anymore

34:50 no it won't. Add a few word/change a word order. Make sure the syllables fit and it all works out. If they lip sync something like Trigun Stampede or any CG that has more defined lip flaps than the average anime then a cut like this will be a breeze to sync.
Do you think overall, Mappa is a better animation studio than Ufotable? Almost like Chainsaw Man’s animation vs Demon Slayers animation?
I don't think you can compare these two
@@A1000-b9s why?
@@rrbcraftergames3361 chainsaw man is a League of its own. And also you can't compare them cause Mappa use a lot of freelancers (like every studio, but they do in-house stuff as well). But ufotable is like almost fully in-house (that's why their projects is much less too and they don't need to since they make money in other way and pretty much always are in the production committee of their shows)
@@A1000-b9s ohhh I see. I guess I just meant like which studio produces better anime like on an average. I just used CSM and Demob slayer as an example
@@rrbcraftergames3361 ufo is more stable but with connections that Mappa has, i say Mappa. They only need to manage scheduling and production lines better as they get bigger
11:25 🤣
Knowing the contents of the manga, you'll be very busy making analysis videos for this season.
I just love takasugi from gintama and toji va he is perfect match for those two
I find your hate for interlaced anime very interesting. I try to do the opposite - I try to showcase deinterlaced anime.
Keep up with the good work! I'd also be very interested in your opinion on what I do. Cheers!!
You have to work hard for next video, because it will be you 69th video
Bro how/where do you find out the credits to this episode and which animator worked on which part of the episode. Might seem like a silly question but I couldn't find it when I tried looking
In the page "Sakugabooru"
@@navi7402 Thank you
Yo man, mind sharing the source where you heard of Itsuki Tsuchigami contribution to the second episode?
???
@@-MankoMan10:32
bro said episode 1 in the title 😢
5:59 HAHAHAHA
You should do this for one piece eps (wano)
That is neither a 777 or a 787 looks like a 767 to me
Maki fan huh? You’ll be eating good. Eventually. She has a very unique arc.
Please do frieren when it releases🙏
You messed up the title
Where can you find the production materials?
Sakugabooru
Something I really really loved during the sequence where Toji gets thrown through the buildings is (and we sadly don’t hear it in this video) is the ost. It has this crazy techno track playing as he jumps through the forest and the music gets even more frantic when Gojo launches him. It’s a super good use of both visuals and music.
Might be a stupid question but is this animation considered 2d or 3d?
It's hand drawn animation, hence it's 2D.
@@-MankoMan ok thank you
Can anyone explain how ghosting occurs in the first place? It sort of looks like a mistake, or is it intentional?
dumb japanese tv laws require it for "flashy" scenes in some shows. if the show airs earlier in the day then it is needed
@@tater8960 hmm, cool
The dimming and ghosting is so annoying 🥲
Why dont you review one piece ever
Fire animation
What is Sakuga animation?
You'll know it when you see it.
The reason why Toji didn't kill ghetto was because he knew that ghetto was a curse spirit manipulator so killing him will release the curses in him and that will fu*k up his plans he even tells ghetto that thank your parents that you are not born a curse spirit user
And I definitely did not misspell any word in my comment
And I love this channel with a passion
Dude spoilers wtf.
atleast add a spoiler tag man
Also bullets cannot penatrate sorcerers
Delete the comment or i will report it
there was one scene in the zero movie where gojos eyes looked like a black hole, so i def dont think s2 had the most detailed gojo eyes, imo the OVERglow in that shot for s2 ep3 looked goofy asf
💪 *Promosm*
great analysis but wtf is ur background 💀💀💀
I was a bit underwhelmed with action direction. Idk. It's technically impressive but I miss Parks kinetic energy and wide shots in close hand to hand combat
There wasn't any close hand to hand combat in this fight tho
@@DarkKing-z6b that was a low priority episode and the fight scene itself wasn't an important one. They'll obviously have better animators for high priority episodes like in this one. The new directors and SBs debuting is also not a bad thing, just look at ep3, it also had a debuting director and SB artist but it turned out really good.
@@DarkKing-z6b so you're a part of THAT crowd huh. No point in arguing then. Have a good day/night.
It literally is not. The new color designer has worked for both ShngoYama openings for season 1
