    When accelerating I can definitely relate to people reacting, when I went 38-ish km/h on a long empty bicycle lane and a bus drove past me and boy did students inside look at me through the windows.
    I mean here I was just driven past by a bus almost keeping up with the same speed as me, on a board.

    • @Pinmarcus
      @Pinmarcus 8 років тому +1

      Hey mate, I got my bamboo gt the other day and I have to say that the range is more than enough.

    • @TheMaoTao
      @TheMaoTao 8 років тому

      Hi mate yeah concrete would have had a different outcome but the boardwalk was surprisingly soft lol
      The range is plenty you will run out of path before you are resticted too much by your battery life, although there is are significant differences between a street wheel and the all terrain setup.
      I had a little cruise the other day where i covered 12 km and my batt level was sitting around 54-58% which surprised me, just depends on how you ride and the conditions i guess 😊👍

    Nice video

  • @sendmedem
    @sendmedem 8 років тому

    near end of video u say has 30kms range if you take it easy. is that on the old board? does the new GT actually do 50km range on street wheels?

    • @WagsOutback
      @WagsOutback  8 років тому

      If you ride them easy then yes you can get that range with the street wheels on. Ride full power up hills and they will go flat very fast. We did a run with the AT wheels on both and they went flat around the same distance.

    Whats the max weight on these im a bit on the chunky side a bit heavier when im carrying thinngs for work

    • @WagsOutback
      @WagsOutback  7 років тому +1

      More weight means it would chew the bat down faster. Its got lots of power so would handle heavy weights pretty easy I would say.

    I just got my gt carbon AT. It has been 18 years since I last rode a board. I have a question and hopefully someone can help me. On my first ride my feet and legs were hurting me pretty bad. It almost feels like arm pump when you ride a dirt bike for awhile. Is this normal since I've not been on a board for so long?

    • @TheMaoTao
      @TheMaoTao 8 років тому +2

      Hi mate, yeah i was in the same boat as you plenty of riding when i was a kid but just recently once i started riding these bad boys out come the aches and pains lol i guess its just the norm once you start to use muscles you dont normally use, i found most of the aches went away after a couple of weeks of good riding mostly in the calfs, and across the bottom of my back foot felt almost like a cramping feeling but its a good excuse to just keep riding!!! 😆

    • @HORRUS29

    • @WagsOutback
      @WagsOutback  8 років тому

      HI, looks like a neat way to control the board. I think controlling a GT board like that would be scary. One finger control would more dexterous I would think..

    • @AGeekyGuy
      @AGeekyGuy 8 років тому

      I have tried a board with a remote after trying the ZBoard 2, I had a much easier time using the foot controls, it felt more natural. Plus same top speeds, goes greater distance, takes less time to charge, and lighter.

    • @WagsOutback
      @WagsOutback  8 років тому

      Its' an Interesting board indeed. The new GT has a top speed of 26 mph/ 42kmph. Twin motors give it crazy torque and active breaking with no torque twist. I will be updating my single motor board to one for sure. Wait to you see what crazy inclines the GT can go up. We will shoot a video of the hill next few days. My single motor one would have no chance.
